I ordered a wide width and when they came, it said "standard fit" on the box. I do not know if they actually sell a wide width. If you really need a wide width for your toe box, this is not the shoe for you. New Balance has wide width that really is wide for my duck feet.

This is marketed as a CrossFit type shoe, but I am using it as my main running shoe. I have been moving to minimalist type shoes for the past couple years. I've found zero drop shoes to put too much strain on my calves. Two much drop and you can't effectively run with a mid-foot strike. This shoe gives a 3mm drop putting it in a good middle zone. I have very wide feet which is why I can't go with so many other minimalist type shoes. The wide version of this shoe works for me very well (I'm somewhere between and 2E and 4E). It is very lightweight. The support is good, which I would expect with a CrossFit shoe. The base cushioning is not that substantial, but you don't look for squishy shoes in minimalism. That said, I wish it had just a bit more cushioning to minimize the pounding that my forefoot takes on longer runs. Guess this is because it's meant for gym work and not road work. The tread covers the entirety of the bottom, which is a change from many minimalist shoes that leave softer cushioning exposed for rocks to poke up and through. I will need to report later on how they hold up over time, but for now I think I have found the right kind of shoe for me. The shoe is well made and I expect it will give me the mileage I desire.

These were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. However, I wear EEE and they were E and just not wide enough. Zappos policy allowed me to return them and but the brand I normally use.

I have owned these shoes for about 10 months now and would buy another pair in a heartbeat. I am not gentle with these shoes at all and they have held up great. For the last 10 months, I have been wearing these shoes to the gym and putting them through their paces. These shoes have taken whatever I dish out, which usually involves heavy kettlebell lifts and body weight fitness, with the occasional olympic lifting. Normally my toes wear through mesh shoes very quickly, but the only thing showing signs of wear is the toe protector.

I love these shoes. Super lightweight. I have an 11W foot and peripheral neuropathy. The foot shaped wide toebox is perfect for my toes. They never get squished. I highly recommend.

This is my second pair of inov shoes and love these more than my first. They are so comfortable to either walk around in or to work out in. There is plenty of room for my toes and my narrow heels do not slip out of them! They are lightweight and my first week I got them, I was able to effortlessly move through 2 airports, standing in long lines without any foot discomfort.I am looking forward to many, many work outs in these excellent shoes.

These shoes feel very different, but are exceptionally comfortable. Zappos service was exceptional too. Order today, ship tomorrow, receive the next day. Wow!

I am very happy with these shoes so far. I fell in love with version 1 of New Balance minimus shoes, but subsequent versions didn't work as well primarily because the fabric allowed my toes to poke through very quickly. I have been looking for a lightly more substantial, structured minimus-style shoe. This one seems to fit the bill. Thay are stable, light weight, and wide enough across the metatarsal.

Purchased this shoe as a gift for my brother. He wears a 11.5 wide, and it must be a true wide. He weighs 300lbs so the shoe must be comfortable, walkable and not tight. The European sizing had me concerned but went with the wide sizing and knew Zappos return policy was top notch if it didn't fit. He couldn't be happier, is always wearing them and he says his 20+ y/o sons are asking where they can get a pair!

I like these shoes a lot! They are a bit on the snug side due to "precision fit" which takes some getting used to and my feet look even smaller in them, but they are very comfortable and have decent arch support.

These shoes ROCK! This is my 6th pair of Inov-8s in the last 2 years and I can't get enough of them. From 195, 230, 240s and trail rock...from CrossFit to running, hiking and daily wear I have never been disappointed. Will definitely continue to buy.

I love these shoes; nice and soft and easy on my old feet with my orthotics; they are great. I am looking for them in white for spring and summer. Can you make me a pair of white with either white stitching or the black?

Love these shoes. I'm an avid runner and I've tried several brands and loads of support systems, but these shoes, which are actually made for weightlifting, seem to be just what my body needs. There's extra room in the toe box, which I love. I do feel that I have to stay with my real shoe size instead of going up like most athletic brands suggest. I've trained for two half marathons and ran one in my first pair of inov 8's and they have held up very well and still wear them on my light run days without any problems.

I take a size 9 UK 10 US in every innov8 shoe I own. 4 pair trail roc 255s, 1 pair 245s, 2 pair roclite, and 1 pair of the f-lite 265s. F-lite 195 which appears almost identical to the 265 in structure and shape fits a 1/2 size larger than the rest of my inovs. I have to return the 9s I just got and order an 8.5 in the f-lite 195. Just an FYI from an inov8 lover.

They are just about perfect for my feet. I measure a woman's 9D, bought these in 41. There is just enough cushioning to make running on pavement less punishing than in the five finger shoes.

Great cross training and lifting shoe. I do a lot of lifting with some running in these (if I'm just running I wear something with a little more cushion) these shoes are great! I work out in them 5 days a week hard and they've still held up after 3 years. Personally they look weird, but who cares what you look like when working out? It's about function and comfort.

I'm using these for my Krav Maga gym and they've been great for the last couple of months. They're light weight but provide good support for fighting stances and all of the maneuvers we see at the gym!

So, I love this shoe. To me, it is the perfect running/athletic shoe. It looks great and does it's job really well. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because after not that long, maybe 5 to 6 months, my foot busted straight out of the front of the shoe. I did end up buying another pair since I wasn't able to find anything else that I like as much, and in my experience I have yet to find a minimalistic shoe that is all that robust.

I normally wear a women's 8.5 or men's 7.5, but given the comments about this running small, I went with the larger option (UK 6.5). The wide is definitely wide enough for the wide part of my feet, while also remaining narrow enough in the heel so that my feet don't move in the shoe as I walk. However, the arch was positioned just a tad too far back to be comfortable for a long period of time, and the bridge area was just a bit too tight, so I'm trying a half-size larger to see if they fit better.

I love the style of these shoes, but the extra wides are not extra wide enough for my foot, which is a relatively common problem. My small toe is smashed. I've kept them because they are fine for low intensity workouts like lifting, but I could not run or play any active sports with these. They also have minimal arch support. Compared to something like New Balance EEE shoes, these are uncomfortable.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I'm constantly searching for a good shoe. I do not run any more because of it; however, I still walk a few miles a day. I have been happy with the way this shoe fits and feels. One week after buying this shoe my family and I spent 5 days at Disneyland. According to the trusty Fitbit I walked around 35 miles but I felt no abnormal fatigue in my feet. I have had this shoe for 5 weeks and I'm pretty happy with them. The only problem I've had is the thin insoles migrate towards the back of the shoe. It became fairly annoying until I solved the problem with double sided tape. That shouldn't happen with a shoe of this quality.

I just wore my inov8's to the gym yesterday. The traction with running was great. The shoes are lightweight and when pushing my trainer down the track my toes we able to spread out for balance and control and great flexibility in the soles. I would definitely recommend these to athletes. My trainer was impressed by them as well and wanted to know where I got them. I told her Zappos!

I like the look of the shoes and they fit even though they weren't marked as wide on the box that I received. However, they are not the most comfortable or supportive shoes I've worn. When I go on walks they feel like I'm walking bare foot and it was difficult to run without feeling flat footed. I've never had this problem with other brands of shoes. I also work a job standing for the whole shift and these left my feet achy, so unfortunately I don't wear them as much as my older running shoes.

The shoe itself looks great but after just a month they began to fall apart at the toe and heels. I bought them for running but they tore up so quickly I didn't dare use them for that.
