This is my 3rd pair of this model. 5th pair of Inov-8s. This version of the shoe is much tighter in the box than the previous version. They pushed oddly on the outside of my foot and are not comfortable running or lifting. Maybe they need a break in period? I ordered "wide" in the same size as the previous 2 pair but received "standard" so I think it's the right fit. The sole is far less durable than the previous generation. It came unglued at the toe and the sole was shredded like it was run down a cheese grader. This from doing 50 burpees on a rubber floor. Thankfully Zappos is a great company and swapped them out. Hoping for better luck with the replacements.

Sizing or shoe shape seems to have changed, maybe in a small manner, but it is certainly noticeable. I have a pair of 195s that I purchased late last year, and I was hoping to order another pair, but these just are not the same as previous versions. My original pair fit perfectly right out of the box, and I have been wearing them almost daily. I picked up a new pair, same size, same fit (standard) and I just cannot get comfortable. My toes seem to rub the toe box ever so slightly (the toe box seems more narrow) with and without the insert. I am really bummed, as I am a huge inov-8 fan, but these shoes just are not working for me.

This is the worst Inov-8 shoe I've ever purchased. First, the insoles slip up the heal easily (meaning I had to duct tape them in); 2 the actual sole wears away so quickly - I've been rotating through them (I work out in two other shoes at intervals) and even after four months the grip on the bottom of the shoe is almost entirely gone. Too, the sole has pulled away from the toe...just not durable AT ALL. Plus the outer is now this weird cushioned kind of materials so you feel like you're walking around with pillows on top of your foot rather than a sturdy shoe. And lastly nitpicky though it may seem, the laces come undone easily - they're coated with a weird kind of coating.
The only pros are what you'd generally expect from Inov-light weight, basically.
I used to love this brand but they've gone way downhill. These shoes in particular? Maybe the kind of performance I'd expect from a 50 or 60 dollar shoe, but at this price they were just a rip off. I feel like my devotion to the brand was just taken advantage of.

I have had model Lite 195 in black and white before, but it was very different both in style, fit, comfort. I am very disappointed in Inov-8 having the same model number and colors, but a different shoe. I have now tried standard and precision style, neither fit!
