I still haven't decided whether to keep these. They look fabulous and the red is very eye-catching. The footbed has the same comfort we expect from Jambu and they have a ton of support. The downside is that there is very strong elastic lacing through the straps on the top of the foot which makes them tighter and less comfortable that one would expect. I don't know if the elastic has any "give" after a break-in period and I'm not sure I want to endure the discomfort to find out. I'm a huge Jambu fan, so maybe I will ask my cobbler to simply replace the elastic lacing with a slightly longer piece. They really are quite fun and attractive...

Love them! Moderate scrapes noted on leather of right shoe upper. Returning them for an exchange for shoes with less 'worn' appearance. Giving 4 stars for overall due to scrapes.

I generally love Jambu shoes. This one, however, I found to have stiff leather and it rubbed all over on around my ankle making walking uncomfortable. I have thin ankles and perhaps they would break in over time but I didn't want to risk it. I have the same shoes with the dots on them in Ivory and they are wonderfully comfortable. Love the color so it is disappointing to return them.

Between this shoe and the Earth Caper, I felt the Earth had better support for my feet. The Jambu was also half a size too big.

They look great for the most part! They are very comfortable, can tell they could be worn all day. The red heel is a bit weird, the shape and then the color the sad part, is they are so narrow. And about a half size up or more. Maybe the straps will stretch, not sure. Still deciding if I will keep.

When I saw my friend's pair, I wanted one. First because I own three other Jambus and know how comfortable they are, and second because I love red. After reading many reviews, I ordered a size 7 instead of 7 1/2 which is my actual size -- glad I did; they fit beautifully and are the right amount of sass. They're super comfortable and don't feel like high heels, thank goodness. I really dislike spiked high heels. At 48, my feet come first.

Love the shoe! My go to work shoe (very casual) and I wear them with almost everything.

I absolutely love them. These are the most comfortable shoes that I own but they squeak loudly. I tried everything to fix it.

I've been wearing my Jambu Sugars for about 3 months. I absolutely love the style and fit and wear these often! They look cute with jeans, capris, skirts, everything! I wear a true 9 but went with the rest of the reviews and got 1/2 smaller, the 8.5's felt perfect. They could use a little more arch support but I don't have problem feet so I'm fine with them. My only complaint is that mine squeak when I walk. I thought it would go away after wearing them a while but hasn't, thus the reason for this review. It's really noticeable in my office where it's quiet except for me walking around. I still love them though, they rock!

I have been in love with Jambu shoes for years so I got these in black. I absolutely love them, except they are very noisy shoes, have a definite squeak that does not get better. When people comment I just tell them that I do not care as they are seriously the most comfortable cute pair of shoes with heels that I have ever worn! (I wondered if it was just mine but a friend has a pair in brown and asked me if mine squeak too so it must be something in the construction/material of the shoes!)

I love these shoes but one big problem - they squeak when you walk and it is a bad squeak. I am on my second pair, first pair replaced with my current pair, and this pair squeaks worse than the first. I would love to get more of these in other colors but the squeak is too loud, especially when I wear them in church. I don't know how they constructed these shoes but something failed somewhere to make them squeak this bad. They are more comfortable than my Dansko's but I need quiet shoes, please fix these shoes!

Love the style - but had to work for these. I am a size 8, but had to re-order in 7.5. I have narrow-ish feet w a high arch. Medium width is usually fine. These are tight. The straps are looped together with elastic and at first there is not a lot of give. I had to wear them with socks a few times to loosen them up (in the house of course). I find w most Jambu shoes, there is some initial pain & you have to break them in. I loved the style too much to give up and am a sucker for red shoes. Maiden voyage is today - so far so good! Worth it!

I like the price of these much better than the Freebird Wazee (which I ordered at the same time, and am going to keep!), but these aren't nearly as comfortable. I always wear an 8, but based on reviews, I ordered a 7 1/2. Should have ordered a 7. The leather around the top is tight on me. Style is just okay, but kind of boring.

The most comfortable shoe I have had on in years! After foot surgeries, it's been hard to find any shoe except workout shoes that are comfortable and somewhat dressy, but these really work.I sized down 1/2 size after reading the reviews, and that was helpful. I got the black ones, and my only complaint was the white footbed liner. That almost made me reject the shoe, but comfort won out.Still, it does take away from the overall shoe appearance.

These shoes are really cute and pretty comfortable too. The inside rubs on my ankle, but I have bony feet; I expected it to happen. However, these shoes are HUGE. I returned them two times and ended up getting a full size smaller. Weird, because I'm a long-time Jambu/J-41 fan.

I absolutely love these shoes in that they are like walking on air but the non leather straps have a horrible odor...not sure what that is about so I am debating sending them back...

These shoes are beautiful, but, with a slightly high arch, they are super constrictive across my upper. I am desperate for them to work, and have worn them around the house for a couple of hours, on two occasions, but, it is not going to work. I am so sad. It is unfortunate that they do not have the adjustable elastic that the less expensive Jambu line (Discover 41?) has. This would have solved my issue. I could have lived with non leather, but the shoes do not come in black.

I like these shoes, however, the straps are very tight. They are comfortable to walk in, but I wouldn't recommend walking in them all day.

I have a pair in red from last fall and yes, they were large so I ordered down (from an 11 to a 10) and they fit my almost-wide feet perfectly. Happy, happy. So now I want them in a neutral color so I ordered the smoke in 10 medium like last time. They fit VERY differently. They are not as roomy as the older ones and the heel cup is shallower somehow. It is subtle, but it makes the difference between fitting and not fitting for me. So, I'm going to return the 10 and hope that the size 11 fits better.

After searching Zappos website endlessly for a pair of cute, comfortable, and wearable sandals with a bit of a heel - I can say that I found all of these requirements when I purchased the Zambu Sugar! In fact, I have two pairs now. I have been battling plantar fasciitis in my left foot for several months. I also have severe arthritis in the left knee, so comfort is my first concern. I also want the cuteness factor. In my opinion, the Sugar has both. I did order a 7 1/2, even though I wear an 8 - consistently. It fits perfectly. My plantar fasciitis does bother me after wearing all day, but not terribly. The first pair I ordered - Smoky colored - was a different color than the pic on Zappos website. The Smoky is sort of a taupe color, but a bit darker. I ordered the black, too. Love them both and I highly recommend this sandal. If you're trying to decide whether to spend the money, I say do it! You won't be disappointed!

Wish they fit. Half size too big, they have to go back. Bummed because they are obviously good quality shoes with a great padded footbed and would be super cute if my foot were not swimming in the shoe. Definitely order a half size smaller, and if you are normally a six or smaller, don't bother.

Loved the sandal but ordered my normal size of 7 1/2 and it was way too big! :( Ordering a smaller size!

I love these shoes and so looking forward to wearing them. Unfortunately, the grommets at the top are exactly where my ankle bone is, and they are too painful to wear. I'm so bummed.

I am beyond disappointed. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7, but even the 6.5 was too long. Apparently that is the smallest size in this shoe, so I am out of luck. They are so beautiful and comfortable...the smoky color is even better in person than on the screen. I'm not sure what I will do. I really want to keep them. : (

Great-looking, comfortable boot-shoe I wanted to love, but the size 8 1/2 was a little too long, and the 8 a little tight in width. So close, but I had to send them back.
