Great shoe, but I suggest you get a half size bigger; this show runs a little small, unlike the original all stars.

I love these shoes! Super-cute and the fit was perfect! I wear an 8 in normal shoes and ordered an 8 in these. I also ordered the "Made for Chucks" socks that Zappos offers, and love how they feel/look with the shoes.

Love them! They are smaller than the regular Chucks and they look better on a woman's foot. I wear a size 11 and they were a perfect size. Love the shorter laces than the original Chucks.

Daintier than other Converse. Love the look. Always thought I needed an arch for comfort, but these shoes proved me wrong. Walked two days at Disney in them and my granddaughter thought I was pretty cool.

These cute shoes arrived earlier than expected, look adorable with jeans, capris or shorts and will be an essential part of my wardrobe. Note that they are true to size versus regular Converse which run large. Also had a positive experience with Zappos as a first time shopper and the online videos for each product are greatly appreciated and add to the shopping experience and ease. Will buy here again.

The 'Dainty Ox' is...dainty. But, if you're one of those girls (like me) who avoids buying Chucks because they're always a half-size too big/small, the 'Dainty Ox' is definitely for you! I found them to be true-to-size for my feet (I ordered a size 9), whereas regular Chucks look like clown shoes on me at that size. They're definitely a bit narrower than regular Chucks, but I don't have particularly wide or narrow feet, and I haven't had any problems with squished toes. I used a looser lacing pattern (visit Ian's Shoelace Site for ideas) to make the shoes appear wider. The looser lacing also sped up the 'breaking in' time quite a lot (one day, tops!). I did an Over/Under pattern but started with 1st lace (by toebox) in Over position instead. I wear my Dainty Ox's several days a week (all day) without any problems. By the way, did I mention that I love them?! Now that I've finally found a pair of Chucks that actually fit, I'll be able to add a few new colors of the 'Dainty Ox' to my closet.

Great fitting shoes very comfy true to size look great with skinny, straight and boot cut jeans. Recommend for sure.

Great comfortable converse shoes. A more feminine model :-). The size chart indicated by Zappos is wrong compared to the converse chart. My shoes came and were a size too big! If you know your converse shoe size then definitely order that one!

I usually wear a 7 1/2 but in these I ordered the 7 at first it felt quite snug but after having them on for only an hour they fit excellent! They formed to my foot and I walk a lot with these my feet felt great all day and night I never got any blisters like other shoes. These stretch to fit your foot. I like the delicate look of these shoes. I am petite with a slender foot and high arch. I wouldn't be so sure if I had wide feet. Zappos are excellent for returning your item if you aren't pleased. I have never had a problem. I did return a pair of shoes once for my little girl and just like the first time around they came back to me Super quick. I always shop at Zappos! They are honest and reliable. Thanks so much!

These are wonderful. A little tight at the widest part of my foot (and my feet are a bit wide), but I expect them to stretch with wear. A much more streamlined fit compared to the original All Stars. The fit through the heel is much better meaning that they actually fit a woman's narrower heel). These also look far less clunky than the originals, so I expect them to be my go-to shoes to wear with shorts/skirts/capris when I can't wear sandals. Will probably order another pair.

Love these! They took no breaking in, which is a welcome change, and are super comfy. I have been wearing Chucks my whole life and I like the switch to "dainty." It suits my rather small feet.

Great basic shoe; stylish enough for a casual night out, durable enough for strength training, and low-key enough for casual work days. Note, they run a tad narrow.

This style of Chuck's runs smaller than normal. Usually with Chucks you need to buy them one size smaller than your normal shoe. These run more true to your regular size.

I love my new Chucks! I received them just 3 days after making the purchase and wore them every day this week. Initially, I was concerned with the size. I wear 7-1/2 in just about everything (8 if my size isn't available and I have to have them). Since these only come in whole sizes, I opted for size 7 and was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit. They are slightly narrow and don't have much support but break in nicely after the first few wears. Note: I purchased these in white and use a Tide To Go stick to keep them clean. Definitely a must-have (both the Chucks and the Tide)!

This is my first pair of dainty converse after being a loving owner of the original converse. The platform is definitely thinner and the name "dainty" perfectly defines this shoe. Overall, very happy with the purchase. I got the same size as my original converse and it fits beautifully.

These shoes are awesome. All the style of Converse with a dash of cuteness added. These are some of my new favorite shoes.

I got these for my daughter's birthday and she LOVES them. She said they were comfortable and more than she expected. They came quickly and so thanks Zappos for making it easy to shop!

Love these shoes but they are a little tight around the toes so order up. I normally wear 8 or 8 1/2 and I ended up doing the size 9. So cute, love them!

Very cute! However, they are a bit narrow and tight in the toes for me but I figure the canvas will stretch over time...at least I hope.

I love these shoes!! Be warned though, if your feet are at all wide these won't work for you. I have very narrow feet and shoes are usually loose on me width wise, but these are quite snug.

OH MY! wonderful!! these lil babies are amazing! I opened them and they looked like baby shoes, they looked tiny! After unlacing them and getting my feet in them, they felt like clouds. I am a size 9, and have wide feet. These fit like gloves, not even kidding. They are so stylish and cool looking, and a great price. After wearing shoes I thought were comfortable, and putting these one, I never want to go back! I have a new definition of comfort now, thanks to these little black babies! :-)

I bought these in red then for the month of October I needed the pink ones! They are great to just throw on and go! Also as always love Zappos shipping!

I wanted a pair of "cool" Converse shoes, but the department stores and the discount stores had clunky versions that made my feet look HUGE. This "dainty" style is streamlined just enough for me. Now I feel cool, even though I'm a grandmother.
