I love these sandals so much, I have them in both colors. They look so cute with pants or dresses, I end up wearing them all the time.

Great looking and very comfortable. A lightweight shoe. Not very much cushion on the sole. Unfortunately, they are too wide for my foot which is on the narrow side of medium. My foot slipped forward such that my toes hung over the front of the shoe a little too much. Too bad but I must send them back.

I wear a 5.5 and these were way too big - long and wide. My little toe caught between the straps, too.

Beautiful shoe but does not have enough arch support. Lenght on the short side. Not like all the other Danskos I have. I will have to return this shoe. Sorry.

The shoes are very comfortable. The strap could use an additional hole...they are a little bit loose on me but I have very narrow feet and small ankles. Other than that a great shoe!

lease bring back the Lolita. When I wear them I never think about my feet for the rest of the day. With the adorable Dani (yes, it is cute) a little pressure here and there reminds that I have shoes on.

I have been wearing Danskos for years due to feet issues. Saw this cute sandal and thought it was great with the strap on the back. No flopping or sliding. Love the patent, makes it a little dressier but looks good with my maxi dresses and also slacks. I purchased the size larger because of other reviews. I have a wide foot, always wear a 39 in Danksos but bought a 40 also to be safe. The 40 was huge. I would say it fits true to size. Shoe was not tight at all. My only problem is the more pointy toe. My big toe is super close to the edge but can't go up a size. The rounded toes don't have this problem. This is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

So pretty but the front part of the shoe squeezed my baby toe so much I was in pain all night last night when I wore them for the first time. Why do most shoes not come in wide? The straps did not stretch. I love Danskos but this is the first that hurt. Make all shoes in C width, please.

Love the Dankso Dani; however, the Dani that I purchased was called Pewter and it really looks like a brass color. The Dani looks like my many, many pairs of Lolita sandsal that I purchased via Zappos in almost all colors because of the comfort and because I thought that the style would be changed. I am so glad that I saw the Dansko Dani. Please urge Dansko to continue with the Dani is the most seasonal colors. Although I own a jade color Lolita, I really wanted to purchase a celery or sage color. Dansko Lolitas and Danis rock!

Pretty shoes, but much too wide. My feet are on the slender side of medium width and I would have to buy these a size smaller and hope they weren't too short. I love Dansko for their comfort, if only they weren't so wide.

I love the overall look and feel of this shoe, however, in the size 42, the front straps were too loose and not supportive enough. I could slip my fingers in around my toes and the front part of my foot. The footbed was perfect in both length and width, but the front straps too baggy. If you have chunky/thick feet, you'll be in good shape. If you have slim/thin feet, you may be swimming around, like me. I'd like this shoe better if it had adjustable buckle-straps in the front, or some kind of elasticized connectors that adjusted to secure various shaped feet.

As a previous reviewer said, these aren't your beloved old Danskos, which were worth every cent that they cost. Some people will probably love them, but be aware that they are narrower than the traditional Dansko style, don't have the traditional rocker sole and have essentially no arch support. Additionally, the sole has a stiff, plasticky feel when you walk, and I agree that it's difficult to get the straps through the buckles. Overall, very disappointing for shoes that should be really awesome to wear; definitely not worth the price.

While this is a very comfortable shoe, the white patten leather turns yellow in a very short amount of time. Already returned one pair and getting ready to return the 2nd pair.

I have higher arches and these shoes were too tight for me. The style is very cute. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Just wanted to let you know that the "crimson" color isn't bright red as it appears in the pictures. It's more of a distressed pink. I didn't keep the shoes, so I can't speak to long term comfort.

These are not like the similar sandals I've bought from Dansko for years--they are narrower and more pointed toe, less arch support. Very disappointed. What are you doing, Dansko?

I am so bummed with these. I love my Lolita's and these are nothing in comparison. They are narrower the foot bed is cloth instead of leather and they just seem to be cheaply made. Please bring back Lolita!

It's no Lolita! This looks much like my favorite sandal, but fits totally differently. The platform has a little less lift, the straps on the toebox are narrow. I tried a 37 in this after reading reviews even though I have a 36 in the Lolita - the 37 was still too tight and not as flattering.

Some other reviews found the toe box to be too tight, and I found this too, and I have thin narrow feet. But they cut into the top of my toes.

I just got those in, and although they are lovely and comfortable, the strap is so hard to get into the buckle! So, I decided to send them back.

The shoe was comfortable when trying it on, but the straps are a funny sheen, and the sole is not rubber - it's hard plastic. Would not have had good traction, and clop-clops when walking. Not the Dansko shoe quality I was expecting so I returned.

Agree with Phoebe -- I lived in the Lolita style for several summers and freaked out when it was discontinued. In NYC we walk for miles and climb up and down lots of subway stairs and the Lolita sandal was stylish (enough) for work and comfortable enough to walk home in. Can't say the same for the Dani -- cheaper, hard sole, ugly gray pointed footbed that really shows in front in back. Looking for a similar style so I can quickly retire this one. Why'd they have to cheapen it? Well, dumb question, I guess.

I love Danskos! But I found this sandal to be too big and way too wide for my foot. I also felt it looked like a sandal an older woman would like. Just not made for me! I had to return them.

I had a pair of Dani sandals before and was happy to see that they were available again. That was short lived though, because the shoes have been slightly re-styled. The heel is lower and the toe has been made more oval in shape (previously it was more square). Looks more like a shoe for older ladies.

I was so sad to realize that these are just uncomfortable! It's narrow and weird to walk in. I plan to return them today.
