My feet stink there gross on me cause they make my feet stink way to much money for the pain of walking around with whose feet stink, is that yours!

I wish I did not have to hate these shoes because I love how they look and they feel fine for the first couple of minutes...however, wear them at work standing on your feet and in a matter of 30 minutes you feet will be sweating horribly! If I had known that Zappos had such a good policy for dissatisfaction, I would surely have returned them. I do not sweat easily in any other shoes I have! Such a bummer! I simply can not wear them and they just sit in my closet. What a waste of hard earned money!

I really love these shoes. The color is perfect. The style is cute. The arch support is great. But toe box shape is too round for me. Please make this shoes with little bit more pointed or square. There are many people who can not wear rounded toe shape shoes.

I am returning because the color was gray, def not the pretty blue in the picture.

I bought these to replace a similar pair of Danskos that finally fell apart after 10 years of wear. Unfortunately, Dansko has become increasingly inconsistent in their sizing, and these did not fit right despite being the size I usually buy. My toes hit the end of the toe box, and the whole shoe felt slightly narrower than other Danskos I have.

I am a foodservice sales rep and in and out of all kinds of kitchens on a daily basis. I wanted a shoe that would work with skirts for the summer, as I am not okay with sandals in this role. These shoes fit the bill for something other than my regular Dansko clogs. BUT- TO NOTE: I almost sent these shoes back due to the difficulty in securing the ankle strap. If I had gotten these in a local store they would have been returned. The design is flawed and could be rectified with a simple treatment of stiffening and narrowing the strap or increasing the size of the buckle. I have to put these on before I get dressed as my skirt is totally wrinkled and messy after me bending over for 20 minutes trying to buckle my shoe! I had not seen that mentioned in other reviews so please consider this issue if you want to buy these clogs!

I wanted to love these, but I couldn't even get my feet in them. I wanted to go up a size, but I already wear a size. Sadly, I had to return them.

I love these shoes! I was really disappointed however that they are not the high quality I usually expect from Dansko. They arrived and only some of the holes on the ankle straps are punched all the way through! (It seems very like the holes were punched in the upper and then after that they were attached to the lower part which had no holes?) So in order to actually wear these I'll have to get an awl to punch through the holes myself (who even has an awl?) I will likely take them to a shoe repair shop for help, but shoes this expensive shouldn't be DIY at all. I should have been able to pull them out of the box and wear them immediately. Sad!

I purchased these shoes because of the rave reviews on comfort. These shoes are comfortable at the front area, but the straps rub against the middle part of my feet where the straps run across. My skin feels burned and rubbed a few minutes after I wear them. I have tried wearing them with socks and band-aid hoping to create a barrier and breaking them in. It has been 4 tries, but still uncomfortable around the straps especially in the medial part of the feet. I am unable to wear them for more than a couple of hours. Very disappointed! I have purchased two. I will need to return the other one.

I was so disappointed by the Dansko Sam. I frequently wear Danskos for trips to cities because I can walk in them all day in total comfort. I have collected four or five pairs of Danskos over the years. I bought this pair to go to NYC, but after only one evening of walking I had blisters on the top of my feet, under each big toe, on both small toes and on my back heel from these shoes! I have never had Danskos that destroyed my feet like this! I could barely walk and had to place band-aids all over my feet. There is nothing abnormal about my feet; in fact they are somewhat narrow. The Dansko Sam does not meet the standards for comfort and fit I expect from Dansko and I have to say I don't know if I will be purchasing them again after this experience.

These are another pair of Danskos that have once again proven that they are not worth the money. They are extremely uncomfortable. The leather is stiff and cuts into your feet as do the straps. I love clogs and wear other brands such as Bjorn and Clarks. I will never purchase Danskos again.

My friend and I both purchased these shoes last summer and were both horrified to realize that they STANK after wearing them on a hot, sweaty summer day. Neither of us is prone to foot odor. The footbed would literally be squishing out sweat and stink by the end of the day. I think these will be going into the garbage this year.

I have a pair of Dansko clogs in this exact same style (or so I thought) from more than 5 years ago. Same Mary Jane style, same strap, same foot bed . . . . but completely different shoe! The material for the heel is lighter weight and less durable, the straps are thinner and less comfortable and -- the kicker for someone with a wide foot and the toe box is downright skimpy compared to the clog I know and love. What has happened to this brand? I miss Dansko and despair of this cheesy imposter! I'm going to gorilla glue the soles of my old clogs and wear them another 5 years. :(

Beautiful shoe but too short/small for me.

Love the style, color and height of the heal. There is a sense of slipping down about a half inch or so when I were a thin stocking. I am overall very happy with these.

I’m a Dansko girl in my 80s with problematic feet. I find that you cannot go wrong with Danskos for comfort, style, & durability! I like that the Sams have the strap that keep the shoe from slipping like backless clogs sometimes do. I ordered the blue denim - a versatile change from the usual black. The 39 works perfectly for 8 1/2 sizing.

These are lovely. They're comfortable to wear all day and can be dressed up or down. I usually wear a 39 in Dansko, but I had to size up to a 40 and they fit perfectly.

I figured these might be a good basic shoe, but I've been pleasantly shocked by how versatile and comfortable these shoes are. They go with everything, can be dressed up or down, I find myself turning to them first when getting dressed in the morning. The style simply works. And I thought beige would be boring, but it's really a lovely color. They do stretch a bit.

I wore these for the first time to an out of town wedding...from early morning 'till evening. That was a risky plan as I didn't even think to take back-ups, but the Dansko Sams were totally and completely comfortable!! Love them sooo much! Just may have to have more colors!!

Love these shoes! Got them in the Petal color and they are absolutely beautiful. My only concern is that I hope the shoe platform itself is easy to keep clean, since it's a light color. They look great with light or dark tights. I have tried a few other brands this season in the hopes of finding a lower-heel shoe, or a flat, that provided stability but was comfortable and had support. I tried Sofft, Miz Mooz, Comfortiva, and Taos and had no luck. Dansko has been a go-to shoe in the past for pumps and sandals, but I avoided them initially because I didn't want a shoe with a thick platform. For trip/fall related-issues, I was looking for a shoe that put my foot in closer contact with the walking surface. This shoe has a low platform, but it feels very manageable. For sizing, I am typically a 7 in heels, and a 7.5 in flats/oxfords. I tried both in this shoe. They were both comfortable, but there was a little TOO much room in the 38, and I wasn't able to secure the ankle strap quite as tight, so I am going with the 37. I can still wiggle my toes, they aren't pushed up against the end, and the ankle strap can be fitted securely. Interestingly, there was not much difference in where my heel or the arch area fit between the two sizes. Also, THANK YOU to Dansko for ditching the velcro (at least in this model) and for bringing back the real buckle. Although the velcro is handy, it also snags stockings and just doesn't look as nice, even under a faux buckle.
