I love these! They are super comfy but still nice enough for work.

Sadly, I had to return the shoes. I own two other pairs in red and black. I've had them for years and they are still comfy. This time I ordered the Denim Burnished Nubuck but received a gray pair instead. Since gray was not an option, it seems to be a factory defect.

I am size 4-5 depending on the brand and 4.5 fits perfectly. If only I could find more colors in the same pattern! Gives me height and looks great with pretty much everything I wear at work. Extremely comfortable.

I’m an event planner & on my feet for long periods of time running all over the place! Dansko shoes are comfortable and professional looking. Not the cutest shoe, BUT comfort trumps it all. Feels like I’m walking on pillows. Highly recommend!’

I first ordered these in my regular size and my toes hit the front of the shoe. Knowing that would get uncomfortable quickly, I exchanged these for a size up, which works perfectly. My toes don't hit the front and the ankle strap keeps my foot from moving around too much even though there is a little extra (and welcome) space.

I love the Dansko Sophie and Season sandals. I wanted something with a closed toe to wear when I ride public transportation in the city. These fit the bill. I tried a different style a couple of years ago but these have more support and a cooler footbed. I learned with my other sandals with this style of sole that I need to go up a size. I usually wear a 38 in a clog so I ordered these in a 39. My toes have plenty of room to wiggle but the ankle strap keeps them firmly on my foot. I think the style is very cute with wide leg crops and capris.

Pretty comfortable and sturdy. But my feet ache after standing in them a few hours. Some more sole cushioning would help.

These dug into the lateral edges of my feet and would've caused a blister or maybe even a cut, so I am returning them. They are cute and seem supportive.

I love Dansko and these are comfortable, but are nearly impossible to buckle. Not worth the hassle for me!

True to size, but the top of the shoe was way too tight on the top of my foot. Cute shoe, sad to send it back.

Fit is great. I wore them for 2 days with absolutely no pain in my feet. No blisters. No breaking them in. But! I've worn them twice and the toes are already scuffed pretty bad. I also noticed that the leather on the side has a cut in it and in another place, it looks almost like it's dried out about about to crack. For the money, I'm not satisfied with the quality. I'm returning them. :( I was so hesitant to spend that much money on a pair of shoes but I did it. I just expected them to hold up!

These shoes are so comfortable! As a teacher I’m always on my feet. They have helped relieve my plantar fasciitis pain highly recommended.

I ordered an 8 and received a Euro size 38 which was no larger than a 6.5 that I could tell. These Euro sizes are clearly not standardized well in America and people receive shoes that are the wrong size. The worst thing is that Zappos used an American size scale for the online ordering, so I suggest that Zappos take a good look at how they use them and not just use the random sizing calculations that are wildly different. I sent these back in a heartbeat and I have no idea of how to advise with regards to sizing. It seems like a free-for-all with Euro sizing.

toe box too small for me- a bit tight across the top - Beatrice has roomier toe box and was much better for me.

I use a size 8 and was sent a "38" which is not even CLOSE to a size 8. Do not use the sizes advertised here, they are flat out wrong!! Sending back immediately and I want a full refund. Ridiculous.

I should have listened to other reviews that said these run small. I normally wear a 42 in Dansko, and that's what I purchased. Unfortunately, this 42 feels way too small. On the one hand, it's not Dansko's fault that these don't fit me. On the other hand, I have about three other paid of Danskos, and they are all 42, so they should have greater consistency in sizing. I'm returning these, and unfortunately, Zappos does not carry a 42. Looks like I can purchase a 43 from Dansko directly, so that's what I'll be trying.

I usually wear a size 9, regular width, in women's shoes, but euro size 39 does not seem to work for me; the Dansko Sam in 40 is perfect. I work in a busy restaurant and have high arches: I did have sore feet after the first day (busy weekend lunch shift!) of breaking them in but nothing extreme. Recommended for kitchen people. Probably the most attractive but practical shoe option I've seen for my work.

I love my shoes, the color is perfect. The only drawback I have & it has nothing to do with the shoe but more with my foot is that since they are rounded in the front my long middle toe hits the front of the shoe. If I get size up it will be too big, the shoe fits perfect its just my long toes. If you have that "longer" second toe you may have that same issue but I am use to it and it doesn't hurt or bother me at all. Other from that, the color, materialname beautiful. The insole is suede like so your feet are comfy & cushioned.

I so wanted to love these. They were very comfy right out of the box. Fit as expected but they just had a bit too much of an “old lady” vibe so, I returned them. Maybe better with long pants than Capri or ankle length.

Fit and size were perfect. The insole is very supportive and cushy without bending at the metatarsal (I have hallux limitus and need that "stiff sole" feel in the metatarsal). Also the buckles are very sturdy. Had looked at another brand but the velcro strap -- not reliable over time, as the velcro tends to get clogged and not stick. These do the trick. They will look great with pixie pants (calf length). the blueish color is more grey, but it is a nice neutral. I highly recommend these shoes --wish they came in even more colors! I will buy them again.
