I absolutely love these shoes. I have worn Dansko's clogs for several years - I am a physician so I need shoes that are comfortable for being on my feet all day. I was looking to expand my style options for warmer weather so I took a chance on this style. The shoe is still appropriate to wear to work but I have also enjoyed wearing them on my days off. They look great with jeans, leggings, khakis...everything. I love the nude sand color - it's so versatile and (maybe this is in my head) I feel that it makes my legs look longer too. I have gotten so many compliments on these shoes. In regards to the size and fit, I wear a 40 (size 9.5-10 in US sizes) and they fit true to size. I personally haven't had problems with my toes rubbing against the front of the shoe or any of the straps digging into my foot. The leather is soft and the foot pad is cushy enough but still supportive. I didn't have to "break them in" at all. Also, the wood-patterned sole adds some visual interest and they look more modern, not dowdy or "old fashioned" at all. If you're looking for a comfortable multi-season neutral-colored shoe then I really recommend giving these a try. On a side note, I did apply some Kiwi leather lotion to the shoes when I first got them to keep the leather supple and repel stains.

I love Danskos! They are as comfortable as running shoes and don't wear down as fast. I've had many pairs- because new styles are fun! I love Zappos, too: Because Danskos are handmade, each pair is just slightly different. I ordered several pairs of 2 sizes to see which size and specific pair fit best. Once I nailed down the right size, I tried on each pair in that size to see which was most comfortable. I was able to put them on and go- no breaking in. I have worn these with and without socks, depending on the weather. And, I wore them on two recent trips from the Northeast in February to southern CA and FL. It was great to land and slip off the socks! I wear them with capris or ankle pants, skirts, some shorts, jeans, everything basically. They are like ballet flats, but much more comfortable. The nude color on my pale skin is nice- I was looking for this color.

Awesome shoes. These are my third pair of Danskos and they do not disappoint. So comfortable plus they look great with skirts, jeans, ankle pant and dress pants!

These are the perfect color, match everything and are a great multi-purpose shoe. Good with pants or skirts, spring or fall, walking a lot or just going out to dinner, formal or casual. Total win!

i am always a skeptic of those who says shoes are comfortable right out of the box...but they were right about these shoes! I work in a 2 story restaurant with concrete floors...these shoes have endured night after night and been incredible. I had a little sensitivity on the top of my foot where the strap hits after the first day I wore them - but that was a 14 hour day in brand new shoes. No problems with it since. love this shoe and only desire would be for more fun colors in this style

Perfect! Stylish and Dansko comfort! I don't want to take them off. Careful, though, b cz of this gorgeous sandy color, I put mink oil on them to protect them from staining and they did darken to a more light carmel color. Still pretty, but not the same. Fit is as the Dansko clog. Order that size.

I love Danskos, and these are no exception. These have a comfortable, supportive footbed, and the platform gives some height even though the heel isn't too high. My only complaint is that the buckle is a little hard to fasten and unfasten, but hopefully that will improve as the leather breaks in.

These are my favorite go-to shoe when the seasons change from sandals to shoes or vice versa. They're dressier than athletic shoes, but I can do almost everything but hike in them even though I actually ended up doing it last weekend. I don't recommend it if there are rocks and tree roots! I made it though, and my feet didn't even hurt. They're also very comfortable walking over cobblestones. I really love all of my Danskos and haven't had a bad pair yet.

I have been having a problem with nerve pain in my foot, and my podiatrist told me to wear Danskos. I have a few pairs of clogs, but wanted to treat myself to something that would bridge the gap between winter and spring. The Sam is perfect! It's even cuter than the photo and very comfortable! I'm go glad I got it. ??

So glad they brought these back. At first they don't feel quite as comfy as my old pair, but they may just require some breaking in. I rarely re-buy shoes I already own, but these are comfortable enough to merit an exception.

I've had other Danskos and these are just as comfortable. Also, it's nice to be able to find size 5 on Zappos as it is not always easy to find shoes in my size. I bought these for an upcoming trip as I prefer to wear shoes like this rather than sneakers when I am traveling. The shoes fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I think they'll be perfect for my trip.

This is my favorite shoe ever. Very comfortable. I have not had any plantar fasciitis pain after wearing these shoes! I bought them in three colors. Love them!

Love my Dansko's! They look great and are very comfortable. Now I do not go hiking in them but I have walked in them for short distances. Great to wear for party, out to dinner, walking down city streets to peruse art galleries.

This is by far my favorite shoe. I recommend the soft leather styles because they are ready to wear from purchase. No blisters, no sore feet. I wish I had a pair for every color of the rainbow. I can't believe I waited this long to be a Dansko customer.

I have bought and worn Dansko shoes for over 20 years. They are comfortable and well made. These did not disappoint. They are true to size and the tooling on the leather is lovely. I would highly recommend these to a friend!

This shoe is stylish and extremely comfortable, as are all Dansko. I wore the next day all day and my feet did not hurt at all. If you have back problems the Dankso shoe will help. To soften the leather I use Nivea cream (blue container), learned this living in Italy.

They are perfect and so attractive. Very comfortable. I leave for Europe this week so this will be my walking shoe. I wanted something comfortable and not frumpy looking sneakers. They have a great design too.

Love these shoes. They fit and feel great although it is tricky getting the right size since just because you wear one size in a certain style, does not mean you will wear the same size in another style. I wear these with rolled up Boyfriend jeans and a loose sweater or top...I get stopped almost every time I wear them with women asking what they are and where did I get them. They have that distinctive European look.

These are fantastic. Very comfortable and stylish. I get compliments all the time. I usually wear a 41, but in these a 42 felt much more comfortable. I have to go a size up in Danskos in general.

I really like this shoe, it is comfortable to wear all day long even if only standing and walking around. The color goes with most everything and the styling is cute.

I love these shoes. LOVE them. They are incredibly comfortable, light on my feet, and not huge and chunky. I have plantar fasciitis and need heel support for a long work day, Danskos are the only shoe I've found that truly give me the relief I need. The tooled pattern in the leather is also something I get lots of compliments on!

Great sandal. The greyish-nude color goes with just about everything (a sandal goes with) while not looking dirty despite consistent wear. I've worn this sandal to walk to work all summer, and shopping for hours as well, with no complaints from me.

Very pretty styling, especially the tooled leather, works great with pants or skirts. Comfortable and true to size, at the end of the day, my feet still feel like dancing. :-)

I needed to put away my closed back clogs for the summer, but my foot pain came back. This style from Dansko solved my problem! They are comfortable and give the support of a full clog, but look like a nice summer sandal. Can be worn with shorts or a skirt without looking clunky. I love them!!!

I have had mixed experiences with Dansko in the past. I worked in kitchens for many years, and the Professional (bought secondhand) was way too tight on my high arches. After an excellent experience with the Phoebe clog, which has some elastic at the arch, I decided to try the Sam. These are excellent right out of the box. No blisters, no slipping, no rubbing. The heel seems pretty close if not identical to the rocker of the Pro. I got the tooled brown leather, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Some truly minor issues: the footbed will attract some moisture (since it is soft, not hard like the pro) and the shoes scuff pretty easily. Also, I have pretty average ankles, but I had to start out on the very loosest hole until the ankle strap stretched. My usual size 40 from Dansko was correct for the Sam.
