I love these sandals, but the size 42 is in no way a size 11. I have several Dansko shoes and have always worn a size 42. I notice that Dansko products are now made in China, and my other shoes were made in Portugal--could this be the problem? Zappos certainly needs to change the sizing criteria, and Dansko most certainly needs to adjust the sizing with their Chinese manufacturer.

Although these shoes are darling in the sandstone color, very versatile in style and color, they are too short on my feet. I typically wear a 10 and a 41 in Dansko. However, these were 1/4 of an inch too short on the foot bed leaving my toes hanging over and offering no arch support with the incorrect size. If I go up a size, I fear they will be too large for my feet are extremely narrow, my heals extremely narrow and my right foot arch so high it barely shows on the diagnostic test. Too bad, so darling!

Super-cute, but much smaller than my other Dansko shoes. I really like the uppers, because they're sassy without being flashy, but I could barely put my toes under the toe strap. If it weren't for other reviews I'd've thought these were put in the wrong box. And of course Zappos is out of the next size up. I'm really striking out on Zappos these days.

These are very cute. But they are strangely shaped and small. I always wear a size nine. And my big toe was flying out of the edge of the shoe. I've had problems with Dansko ever since the company moved or was sold to a company in China

I have been a big fan of Dansko sandals for many years, but these were the first to disappoint me. The style is super cute, and the black shagreen color is really nice and goes with a lot of things, but they are just so narrow! I read other reviews and thought I could adjust the straps, but they were still too narrow. This really should be sold as a narrow shoe.

As other customers have mentioned, these shoes run small. They are a bit tight and too short for the size. The shape of the toe is rounded rather than curved to fit the shape of your foot, which you can see in the top view photo, and that might accentuate the size issue. The material they're made of seems to trap heat excessively. I only tried them on briefly, but they were uncomfortably warm. They seemed to have good support and were very soft. They are pretty cute, but not exactly what I was looking for. I considered reordering them one size larger, but was concerned about the heat trapping quality.

Loved the Dansko clogs I began wearing last winter when plantar fasciitis attacked. Bought these & a similar Dansko sandal in May; if you have a problem with sweaty feet or odor - don't buy these or any pair with this footbed! After less than 2 months they are unwearable. I've never had shoes become this smelly and there is no cure! Really pricey for 2 months wear.

A few years back I had purchased a similar pair of Danskos but I just wore them out from wearing them so much. So I bought these and I have to say, very disappointing. For some reason the front of the shoe keeps rubbing against my little toes and giving them blisters. I've tried putting moleskin on that part of the shoe, but nothing helps. Wish I hadn't already worn them outside or I would return them. Now I'm out money.

I do not normally need a wide shoe but in this one I think I would. These were very uncomfortable. Too narrow and the arch dug into my very flat foot. This is my first pair of Danskos and will probably be my last.

Wow, I'm so disappointed in these shoes and other recent Dansko sandals. I have loved Dansko for so long because they actually fit my big wide feet (42). These among other Dansko sandals that I have recently tried on are so narrow! I could swear that I tried this same style on last year at a store and they fit great. I'll be returning these and settling with wearing the same Dansko sandals that I have had for 3 years that fit great. What is going on Dansko?

I have been a Dansko fan for over 10 years and believe this is the first Dansko shoe I have had to return. I sadly developed battle scars from testing these shoes around my home – blisters on my pinky toes and on my foot where the strap hits at the heel buckle. The color is really funky and would go with many outfits, but I could not bear to walk in them. Thanks to Zappos for the speedy return processing, but customers please do test out these shoes before launching them outside. Their discomfort was a real surprise to me based on my previous 100% satisfaction with Dansko shoes and sandals.
