Disclosure: I ended up buying these on Amazon because Zappos was sold out of the color I wanted. I love the look of the Blue Shagreen with the faux wood heel. Typical Dansko comfort, though these are noticeably narrower than my older Dansko sandals. Usually my Danskos do not have a wearing in period, but these do. I even got a small blister on the outer edge of my foot. After 2 wearings, they are good to go with no more blisters.

These are pretty comfortable. They are rubbing my little toe slightly, so I don't wear them if I expect to walk a lot. Otherwise, I really like them.

I originally ordered this in the black shagreen size 42. It was way too big. Sent it back and got the red in 41. It fits great, very cute, comfortable. Being able to adjust the front is great. It's one of the shoes I ordered to deal with the pain I've been having from bunions. I get a lot of compliments. I gave it an overall 4 stars and confort 4 stars due to the nonsense "anti-microbial" footbed. Why doesn't Dansko just make their footbed leather? I would be happy to pay a little more in order to have a better quality shoe that didn't make my foot sweat more end up being stinky because they cut costs with a line of BS about "anti-microbial" qualities. Leather is the best way to go for comfort, long-term wear, and no stinky shoes or feet.

This is my 5th pair of Dansko sandals -- I find them so comfortable for work or dress. I feel like I am walking on air and my feet don't hurt at the end of a busy day on my feet.

These shoes are comfortable and the style is okay, but the new Danskos have too much turn-up in the toe. I now wear one size larger than I used to in Danskos -- I had to trade a 39 for a 40. And none of their new styles is as nice or of as high quality as Danskos used to be. It's a shame! They used to always be my favorites!

I have bunions, and the shoe I find most comfortable is the FitFlop thong style (like the Fleur for example). Sometimes I want a sandal that is a little less casual, though (not that these are so dressy, but they look nice). The good: These shoes are adjustable and the leather is quite soft and comfy. I normally wear a European 38, and the 38 is just right. These sandals are very comfortable when sitting and standing and pretty comfortable for walking on flat surfaces. I wore them for two days around the house with no problems, but walking around town (slightly hilly) for a couple of hours gave me blisters from the rear heel strap, and the strap over the front of the ankle also rubbed. This may be a 'breaking in' thing and is not bunion-related. These are not for hilly walks (ended up taking them off going up a San Francisco hill). The straps hurt too much. I like the way these sandals look and will keep and enjoy them for event that don't require a ton of walking or just flat walking.

These shoes are super comfy and spot-on for size. I'm a little disappointed in the straps -- the material is thin and I expect will tear/wear easily. Still keeping them. The shagreen is really cute.

I loved thiese shoes, and I've had wonderful success with similar Dansko sandals in the past. But these were sized differently, and I-- who wear normally a 10 or 11--found even the 43 a little small! A shame, because I really wanted these.

This sandal is true to size. I have wide feet and bunions, and the shoe fits. This is no easy feat! It looks good with skirts and shorts. My only issue is that my foot slips to the side in the sandal every now and then. This caused me to twist my ankle, which was extremely painful. Fortunately, it was better the next day, and I went back to wearing the shoes. Just need to be careful if walking on brick or cobblestone sidewalks due to the thick sole. It is a pretty shoe.

Adorable shoe! Unfortunately the heel strap was big enough to fit 2 fingers between my heel and the strap.

I got these in coffee swirl, they're not bad. I listened to the reviewers and ordered up a size. I'm usually a solid 37 but got these in a 38. They're slightly too large, but I'm quite certain the 37 will be too tight. Didn't like these quite as much as I'd hoped. They're a little too 'granny' looking on my feet, I thought they would look a bit sexier, but maybe that's because they're a little larger size than I normally wear. Also the coffee swirl looks more black in person and more brown in the pictures online. I can still see the brown but the black overpowers it. Kind of wish I'd gotten them in the red moray instead for a bolder, more fun look. Would give a better review probably if the fit were closer to the sizes in the other Dansko sandals.

I really liked the shoes...wished I could have kept them, but because they felt too wide in the heel, I'd either have to buckle them too tight or risk twisting my ankle. So I had to ship them back. Very cute shoes. If you're young and feel real stable on your heel/ankles, go get them, but for me they were a no go.

Very comfy. It runs small, I usually wear 8-8 1/2 (39) and needed to order a size 40 in this shoe. I felt it ran a tad short and narrow across the toe area.

I was very disappointed in the fit of these sandals. I'm a long-time Dansko fan and own Professionals in size 40, other sandals in 39 and the new sneakers in 38. I ordered these in 39 and 40 and previous reviewers are correct that they run small. I wouldn't have even considered the 39's. The 40's were a bit long but that would have been do-able if the width were not so narrow. Granted, I have wide feet, but I have successfully worn lots of other Danskos with these wide feet. The thing that irked me so much was that the "adjustable" foot area was only effective for loosening the strap over the toes. Most people I know are not wide in their toes. It's further up the foot, at the second strap's area, which is not at all adjustable. Wish the adjustment were for the second strap. The look and shimmer of the iridescent blue was lovely. Would have looked great with everything!

These shoes are adorable in person - they sort of remind me of snakeskin-like! As far as sizing goes, I typically wear a womens 6 - 6.5 so I ordered the size 37 (equivalent to womens 6.5 - 7). These fit me just right so I'd say order a size larger if you can. These could tend to run narrow if you have a high arch so keep that in mind as well. They are very comfortable sandals with a nice wide little heel and good arch support. There are 2 adjustable straps for comfort and all the straps are very soft. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and hope to have these for many years!

Extremely comfortable, fabulous look (no, they don't look "old lady") and great arch. Only problem was that I usually wear a 9.5 or 10: both the 40 and 41 allowed my toes to hang over the front edge. Perhaps my somewhat narrow foot wasn't held firmly by the straps. I'm sad - I loved them, but back they go.

PROS: Very comfortable, straight out of the box. Excellent support. Love the fabric, it's a unique spin on a neutral. CONS: They don't seem to be quite the same level of quality as my other Dansko sandals. There is a piece on the strap that goes across the foot that really rubs me the wrong way. Added a little moleskin and it seems to be okay now. I would have probably returned these had I paid full price. However, at the sale price I paid, I'm satisfied with what I got.

I loved these for awhile now and finally ordered them! Right one fit like a dream but the left one pinched at toe box strap even when only buckled to the widest hole? Weird huh?

These are definitely comfortable shoes but they are hardly worth the money due to the faux wood. The straps are poor quality and have started to stretch after just a few wears. They are cute and comfortable for now but I can tell that the padding is going to give soon.

Did not fit true to size. But very cute shoe that looks like it would be very comfortable if it fit.

Too small...not true to size. Made my normal cute feet look pudgy. Not worth the money with no arch support, which the only reason that I typically buy Danskos. I love them otherwise. What I want to know is why they are so different in comfort than the Tasha's that made me fall in love with brand in the first place?

Wanted to love these shoes. They were really comfy for the first few hours of my workday, but by the end of the day my foot was cramping something terrible. If i didn't stand on my feet all day, they'd be great! Called Zappos and explained the stitch, and they're kindly exchanging them for a different pair even though I no longer have the box! Love Zappos!

I really, really wanted to love these shoes. They were super cute, and I have a half dozen other pairs of Danskos that I love. But they didn't fit right, and just looked weird on my feet. Not cute at all. I have normal width feet, but they looked pudgy in these shoes. I had to exchange them for another Dansko sandal style, which was the same size but fit better and was much more flattering. Too bad.

I wear an 11.5 and am between a Medium and a Wide. It felt too short (my toes hang over ever-so-slightly). Both straps feel tight unless they are on the lowest hole. But the step is nice and soft for a heel this high.

These shoes were too wide for my feet. When I tightened the strap, it hung down too far and protruded from the shoe.
