These shoes were recommended to me by a friend from Loreto, Mexico. Now we both are wearing them as our go-to shoes.

Really cute, comfortable, chunky-type sandal. I take a 7 1/2 usually, ordered the 38, adjusted the top strap to the most loose position and my heel was at the very end. I could have kept them in a pinch but just re-ordered the 39 so they'd be perfect.

I bought this shoe specifically to wear on my vacation to NYC. They were very comfortable and the straps didn't rub at all. They do seem to be a bit compared to other Danskos I have had.

These shoes are just like the discription given. I have ordered an other Dansko product before so I know how they fit. I have arch issues and these shoes have good support. I just came back from a trip and wore these the whole time and never had a problem with my feet. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there was a little flaw, a little bump, in the construction around the buckle on the inside of the strap that covers little toe area. I would of liked the strap a little tighter but the bump cause a blister.

I tried my regular size and half size up, the regular size width is perfect but fall short in length, after sizing up the width is too wide. Another thing to note, the foot bed material feels too heated even it is not summer yet. I returned them in the end.

Agree with the reviewer who mentioned the odd choice of material for the insole. It was immediately apparent that these would make my feet sweat like crazy, not practical for sandals that I was hoping to walk longer distances in, so sadly back they go. I hope that Dansko reworks these, because they're great otherwise, especially for folks with pesky foot problems like plantar fasciitis.

I love these shoes and already own a pair in another color. They are comfortable and great with jeans and dresses. Unfortunately, this pair squeaks terribly when walking. Sadly, they must be returned.

Attractive shoe. Quick delivery. But, they were a size too short. The lower strap would not accommodate my "tailor's" bunions. Sorry to have to send them back.

These sandals do not work for my flat feet and low instep. I have to tighten them 2 notches to keep my foot from sliding forward, and then the straps are too tight. The sandals are cute and the footbed is comfortable -- I'm certain that anyone with "normal" feet would love them!

I loved the look of these and they were very comfortable on the bottom of my foot. Felt very nice with my plantar faciitis. But they gave me blisters on my pinkies every time I wore them, no matter how I adjusted the bottom band.

Unfortunately that buckle pushes on my pink toe from underneath. Otherwise they're awesome. I had to return them. I bought the Tiana and the Madalyn and they both work. The Madalyn is amazing. Really elegant but I can't wear them during the day. They'll get trashed. I will keep them for night time special outings. I love them. The heel of the Madalyn has leather wrapped around it. The weather in Cleveland is too wet for that.

The fit felt good but I didn't like the color . I would buy them in a different color.

The sandals were a bit tight, but the main problem was that they were too stiff.

I liked everything about this shoe... except the color. I was hoping for a darker biue as I found this shade a little to bright for my need. Too bad!

I ordered a size larger than recommended after reading other reviews. These were perfect in every way except for the fabric footbed lining, which makes my feet sweat excessively. Wish Dansko would stick with leather footbed linings.

My friend has a pair of these in a different color way, which are very cute. I ordered the black, which comes with a light brown sole. In person, the contrast in color and textures did not appeal to me. They are marked 10.5-11, which should have fit me perfectly, but they were too small. Returned them.

Cute shoe, but sizing is not accurate. The chart said a size 42 is the same as an 11-12, but no way. The shoe is shorter than advertised. My heels hit the shoe's back edge. I've purchased this same shoe years ago, and I was able to wash the shoe so that it didn't stink in summer heat. The washing worked to keep the footbed cleanish. So there you have a positive and negative comment about the Dansko Sophie.

These were a contender but I felt they were slightly short compared to another pair of Danskos. They were slightly clunky looking; maybe a less rounded toe might help. Because they were short the arch was just a bit off for me. Pretty nice shoe for the right person.

These are sparkly brown, silver and black, or just a metallic black. Not subtle at all.

These sandals are cute and well made, but ran small.

I’ve worn Dansko for years. Generally they are perfect right out of the box. These rub at the toes and will need breaking in. The size Is also a half size too small. Why can’t shoe companies stick with their own in-house sizing guides? They *just* fit and I’m super sick of returning stuff, so I’m going to keep them. They’re not the prettiest Dansko shoe either. Oh well. So much for relying on other people’s reviews!

I love my other shoes by them, but unfortunately my foot was not at all comfortable in these.

Returned. They kind of looked like Old Lady shoes...and they ran small IMO. I'd pass.

I have worn Dansko sandals size 36 for a long time. But, now that they are made in China, the sizing is narrow and small. I have a medium foot, but my foot hangs over the side on these shoes and it looks ridiculous. I have to have the strap at the very last setting, nowhere to go. They are really cute, but they don't come in a wide. Although I usually don't need a "wide" shoe, I guess in Dansko now I do. Sorry to have to send them back.
