Darling comfortable shoe, sadly my fat little feet just don't fit. I ordered a 39 too! Am sending them back and ordering Birkenstocks in a 37 which I have worn for the past 35 years.

Some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. Wish they looked a little less like a trendy birkenstock, but for the comfort I can handle that.

I have several other pairs of Danskos, both closed shoes and sandals, and felt that these were a little shorter in length than my others. I ordered a 39, and my toes are right up to the front edge. I would have returned them for a 40, but I slightly scuffed the heel while wearing them around the house to test them out. They are wearable at a 39 (I usually wear an 8-1/2 or 9), so it isn't a total loss. Just a higher risk that I'll stub my toes on something! The arch support is good, and the insole is nicely cushioned. It feels like a rocker sole, so easy to walk in. The heel doesn't feel high, as it has a platform sole, too. I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes are comfortable enough for my arches and heels to wear all day. My only gripe is that they rubbed horribly and gave me blisters at first, both right behind the toenail on my big toe, and on my pinkie toes. I've never had Danskos do that before, so I foolishly wore them a whole day the first time I wore them to work. I usually bring other shoes to swap out mid-day while breaking in new shoes, but thought with Danskos it wouldn't be an issue. I ended up with four Bandaids on my toes by the end of a six hour shift. They are breaking in now, but the edges still seem a big stiff and sharp.

Nice looking sandal though narrow for Dansko brand. The side of my foot overhung the shoe. I always wear a 38 in Dansko but notion this style. So if you like Dansko but find they are too wide for your liking then try this narrow style.

Beautiful colors, however, I am always a 38 and agree they are made small. I will need to go up to a 39. Very nice, however, to have the adjustable straps.

Very comfortable shoe. Love the adjustable straps. I have a wider foot and the shoe fits perfectly. Good neutral color which goes with many outfits I wear in Florida. Dansko shoes were recommended by my podiatrist and Zappos pricing is very competitive, especially when some styles go on sale!

I love these sandals. I bought the first pair in green and another pair immediately in red. They are great all day on my feet. They look good with everything. I agree with other reviews about the size. My normal size is usually find for sandals but I went up a size for the closed toe clogs.

This is my first pair of Dansko sandals. The quality is very good but I will say there is not as much support as the clog & therefore not as comfortable. However, if you consider them to other sandals then I would have to say they are still far better! I am a hairstylist on my feet all day & started having lots of issues & seemed like no matter what I wore, my feet hurt. These are way more comfortable than any other sandal I have & look good with capris & shorter jeans.

Good shoes, but run a lot smaller than all my other Danskos. By the time I got them and saw they were too small and tried to return them, the color I wanted was no longer available in the bigger size I need for this shoe, so it was back to the drawing board - very disappointing.

I have this same sandal in silver, and it fits well and is very comfortable. This one was too short and I had to send it back. It's a great shoe for narrow feet since you can adjust the straps. Maybe it's just variations in manufacturing, but I have noticed over the past year that Danskos seem to vary in size. Last year, the Dansko boots I ordered were too small and I sent them back. When I read that a reviewer said she got the same Dansko boots in 2 colors and one fit and the other didn't, I re-ordered the boot, and it fit. Seems to be the same problem with this shoe.

The Black Moray is a great and smart color and even greater with the sale price! The clogs are very comfortable and I think the Black Moray with its patent look gives it more of a stylish look than the conventional leather colors. I am a true 9W and the 40 fits comfortably though if it was not for the adjustable buckle, they would not have worked as would have been too narrow. However, I have had to place the buckle on the first hole for them to fit and be comfortable. I do feel if someone has wide+ feet, then these would be too narrow. I wish Dansko would do a true wide fitting like some of their pro closed clogs.

Pretty and really comfortable, but they were too short. I typically wear a size 8.5 or 9, sz. 39, but will have to go up one size for them to fit me. So they must go back.

Overall I liked this shoe. It did take a couple of times wearing this shoe to be totally comfortable on my feet. The strap rubbed a blister on my foot the first couple of times wearing it, but is fine now.

I am very pleased with the comfort of these shoes, can be used for dress or casual. They do run a bit small.

Just as comfortable as every other pair of Dansko's I own, and dressy enough to pair with a formal gown. The only drawback is that the buckles caught on my gown's hem as I walked.

First the color blue shagreen, is really cool. I wasn't sure. Good summer color, with denim etc. I have wide ish feet, they are adjustable. I'm a hairdresser,always in search for a cute comfy pair of shoes. These are it.

I love the shine and have had a ton of compliments! These are great. I also got the cobra skin ones, too. they are a little softer leather than the blue shagreen. My little toe rubs a little on my bigger foot, though. I had to go half a size up from my regular size.

Very cute sandal that is much more comfortable than I would have thought since it doesn't have a high arch support I typically look for. The rocker style bottoms of Dansko instantly disperse the weight of my feet helping the balls of my feet to be less sore. This shoe is feminine enough for sundresses and casual enough for shorts. Supportive yet nothing clunky looking about this one and yet it is good for narrow feet. It is tempting to get in several colors. Will give the red pair a whirl for a few weeks first though to see how my feet and back do. Plan to order 1/2 a size up as it does run small.

Very comfortable footbed, though I wish it had an elasticized strap over the instep, as mine is quite high. It will probably stretch with wear (at least I hope so). The Shagreen is much more...shall we say..."exciting" than it is in this photo. The texture and colors remind me of lizard skin. They're fine, just not what I expected. Overall, a decent shoe.

Overall, a very comfortable shoe. However, the footbed is shorter than a usual size 38. If I was a true size 8 instead of 7 1/2 the shoe would have been too short. I noticed the similar fit with the "Sam" style shoe which has the same type of sole.

I love this shoe! Have it in iridescent blue green and its gorgeous. Leather quality is good - a few yrs back I felt some styles were using stiff/rough on the inside leather. Only thing is, I feel the footbed gets really damp after a day at the office.

I had to send them back to order a size larger. I expect they'll be comfy when i get the new size-- a size larger than all the other danskos i have. They are decidedly narrow and short -- easily a full size smaller, if not a little more. I'll have to adjust the straps to the longest hole i'm sure for my high instep, wide-ish foot. I ordered the iridescent blue shagreen. It is much more silvery in person, so i'm ordering another color. too bad. i loved the look of the blue-green-purple in the pic.

Usual Dansko comfort. Only one I have found I can wear due to adjustable straps. Good for narrow feet.

Great shoe. Slight rubs at top strap but may change as I wear them. Have a pair in two others colors that are fine.
