Love these shoes. I've been wearing a blue print version of these shoes all spring and summer. When I bought them, I thought they were a splurge, but they were my favorite shoes this summer. I'm so glad to have them in black for the fall. They are as comfortable as running shoes, but dressy enough to wear with a casual skirt.

What a comfortable and professional-looking shoe. I have an office job (in marketing), and walk a little over a mile during my lunch breaks about three times a week. It's literally a pain to walk in my "regular" office shoes, which are meant more for sitting rather than walking, and I didn't feel like changing out of my shoes every day and back just to talk in sneakers, etc. So I bought these shoes in the hopes that I'd be able to stay in them all day long -- that they look good enough for the office, yet were comfortable enough for my walks. These fit the bill and I'm very happy with my purchase.

SUPER cute shoe. I usually buy sneakers a .5 size bigger (I normally wear a 38), so when I ordered the 39, it was a tad too big... but boy is it cute and comfy! The best part is that it has the full comfort and support of a clog without looking clunky. Plus, I love the mary jane style

I love these. They are so cute. I have never received as man compliments on my shoes as these (and the Vedas I bought the same day). They are snugger than most Danskos, but they still fit, and I have very wide feet. They are made to be a little tighter than the usual loose-fit slip-ons. They are comfortable, and will be going with me on a vacation. The metal grommets on the strap make buckling them very easy as the pin slides along until it's where you want it.

Very comfortable took a 38 but am an 8 or 8 1/2 shoe size. Take a 38 in all Volley shoes by Dansko. Heel height a little bit lower than original Dansko clogs so easier to walk in.

I love these shoes. I wish I could get them in every color. I tried on some Dansko's at a local shop before I ordered these, so I knew that, for me, I needed a size bigger than I usually wear. They are very comfortable and stylish. I work as a physical therapist so I'm on my feet most of the day and my feet feel great!

I bought a pair of these shoes for myself and for my mom. They have a great, sassy style and are super comfortable. I can wear them all day.

I have been a retail manager for 20 years and these shoes have saved my feet! If you stand on your feet all day you know that sensation in the morning when you get up and your feet are tender as soon as you stand up-this is no longer an issue for me after wearing these shoes to work. I do not suffer from bunion pain any longer. They do move on your feet a bit after breaking in but I think this is typical of the style. Just buy them as your feet, knees and hips will thank you!

These shoes are extremely comfortable! With my plantar fasciitis problem I am very limited with my shoes and rely heavily on Dansko. The arch support is there even though you cannot really feel it. These have been fun for the summer. I wear a 38 in these like I do in all their other styles. I am not used to wearing closed-toe shoes without socks, but I have found that it is not a problem with these. The footbed is designed to be comfortable without socks. Even the lowest cut socks will still show.

Zappos scores again with a wide collection of Danskos. I wish Dansko made wider shoes, but these fit pretty well for someone who needs width for bunions; I have not been able to wear any other Dansko style. They are also cute.

I have had this pair a week, and I've worn them three times for about 9 hours at each stretch. I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet all day long. I've worn them with knee socks and been very happy with the look. I have experienced a little bit of discomfort where the upper part of the shoe meets the top of the foot, but I think it's just due to the factory stiffness of the canvas while I break them in. The buckle strap has not been uncomfortable; however, I did tighten it to the third hole so that I could have a nice snug fit all over. So far, so good. As long as they hold out and don't crack, I see myself ordering another pair in another color in the near future. I'm trying these because I loved the look of the Veda's, but after five months the Veda canvas began to crack where the toe box bends near the rubber toe guard. I'm hoping for better luck with the Valerie's.

I LOVE these shoes! I have the green print one also and the red canvas lace up. I had a triple orthrodesis 3 years ago that did not do well and there are very few shoes I can wear. Dansko is the best--before and after surgery! I do wish they would make similar styles with lower heels.

First of all, Zappos, I love you. Seriously. Free Next Day Shipping? Yes, please! Second, lovely ladies out there, if you are wavering about buying these shoes, do yourself a favor and buy them. I bought a pair of similar mary jane canvas shoes 14 years ago, from Payless of all places. I wore those things and wore them, until literally they sprang holes and the insoles fell out. I just could not bear to toss them. So I re-dyed them black and put in a pair of foam Dr. Scholl's inserts. Pathetic? A little, but I loved those shoes. They were so comfortable I could walk four miles in them, easy. I have been looking for a replacement for 14 long years. I kid you not. I was still wearing those ratty looking mary janes yesterday when I ordered these Danskos. Today, as soon as these arrived, I tossed those old shoes in the trash. Simply put: these Danskos are absolutely perfect. They are so cute and comfotrable, I may never take them off. Unlike cheaper chinese slipper type cotton/canvas mary janes, these have a super sturdy strap with metal grommets to lock the buckle in place. This strap appears to wear like iron. For anyone who has bought a pair of cheapo mary janes only to have the buckle come off, no fear here. The sole is rugged, not too low, not too high. And the toe caps mean that the shoes will stand up to heavy traffic (unlike my last pair which sprang holes at the front). The canvas is also seriously sturdy. I am in heaven. I am new to Dansko, though I have similar style clogs from Land's End, as well as pairs of Borns, Clarks, etc. I like my shoes cute and comfortable. I cannot speak to how these run in comparison to other Danskos. I can however say that after reading other reviews, I opted for a size 41 and am super pleased. I wear a 10 across the board. My feet are pretty long and skinny. The 41 fits wonderfully. I have the perfect smidgen of room in the toe cap (I hate pinchy shoes) and with the buckle cinched in on the second to last grommet, I feel snug as a bug in a rug.

These shoes are super comfy and look fab on. I get copliments all the time and they are so comfortable I can wear them all day!

Love at first wear! I ordered these in sand thinking "I would just try them out" as I could easily return them, but there's no way these shoes are going back! They are like joy for the feet! Like all Danskos, I could wear these all day long walking around outdoor markets, walking the dogs, touring, etc. I got them in sand as they will go with everything, and look super cute with skirts, shorts, capris, jeans, in other words everything! (Love them in navy too but, had to go with the classic white and sand combo.) I am vegan so always looking for great vegan shoes, and Dansko is doing a great job of filling this much needed niche in the market place. (Smart!) Reading the other reviews, if you get these and they feel to tight in any way please try ordering them a size larger. Once you get used to them you will never look back. For me, I wear a 7.5, and always get size 38's in Danskos and they are always just right. Dansko, some cute vegan sandals please! Along the lines of your leather options.

Shoes arrived, put 'em on and went straight to a catering job. Very comfortable. I would like to be able to purchase extra insoles but have had no luck with Dansko.

I bought this shoe plus a tan and black shoe. Not only is this style comfortable [Dansko is my shoe of choice], but compliments come my way all the time.

Wonderful shoe with great support. I am a size 7 with small bunions and the 37 fit me perfectly without socks (I know that the common wisdom is that I'd need a 38, but these fit great). I walked three miles in them the first day out and they were really comfortable. Perfect for work - lots of folks commenting on how cute they are. Planning to order another pair.

Great casual shoe. Very comfortable. This is my second pair of Dansko shoe brand. I was excited they came out with a canvas shoe for summer.

This is my first pair of Dansko. After years of seeing physicians, nurses, and surgeons -- medical professionals who are on their feet for hours at a time -- sporting the clog version, I decided to try this canvas Mary Jane version. Very comfy, I can walk all day in them, and I get compliments on how cute they are. I wear a size 42 -- that's a big old 11 -- and they make my feet look less big. Yes, I recommend them. Zappos scores big for everything.
