I ordered this dress in a medium, my usual size, and I think it was too big. It looked drab and sack-like, especially in black. I am 130lbs, 5'3", 34B, and I guess I should have ordered small. I didn't re-order the smaller size because I didn't like the fabric - it's too thick and stiff for the hot summers where I live, and didn't have much of a drape. Also, the dress is extremely casual and I wanted something that was just a bit more dressed up. My advice is size down if you are between sizes - if you get a size too big, it's not flattering at all.

Teal is very pretty color. Material is very soft. I didn't mind the pocket. The problem for me is it's too square. I have broad shoulders and hips but do not have a big chest. It was completely shapeless on me. I looked back at the picture and realize the model has her arms at her waist and you can see the dress material is folded over on both sides like a dart, being held down by her arms so it looks like she has a waist. Not so with the dress. Perhaps if you are slim and straight bodied, the dress would fit tighter to the body. I don't know. Disappointed as liked the color and fabric. Style is just a sack with not shape on me. Back it went.

Very comfy, and I like the style, except I wish it had more of a waist. Looked a bit too sack-like on me. The main reason I returned it though was the fabric. It is soft but needs a bit of an iron, and it looked washed-out and not a crisp black. At 5'-7" 140 lbs the size small was fine, maybe even a tad big.

This dress didn't work for me -- I have broad shoulders and an hourglass figure. It just hung too loosely like a big sack. I wish it were ruched on both sides. Instead it has a silly patch pocket that sticks out. If you are narrower in the shoulder and looking to hide a larger middle, do consider it because it's a great fabric and the ruching is cute. I also love the length.

This dress runs very big. I got a small and am swimming in it, which led me to return it. I am 135 pounds and 5'6" tall so a small should have bee fine. I imagine that even the extra small will be too big. If you really want this dress, I would say to go at least 2 sizes smaller than you typically wear.
