Nice shoe, I'm usually 11-11.5 wide. I got 11.5 wide, wish I got 11. I would suggest going towards smaller side of your size.

My son wears a 17 in basketball and dress shoes but even the 15s we ordered in these are too big! But they are very nice shoes for school.

Great looking shoes. The EE width fit perfect for my wide feet. They're sized right, don't run big or small. I'm typically wary of the boat shoe look but these look fantastic. Very comfortable as well.

These shoes are uncomfortable the first time you wear them, but I guess that goes for most shoes. Now they're my favorite shoes, a good investment for the price.

The shoe is well built and comfortable. The sole is not Vibram and may not last as long as Vibram.

It's great shoes and I think it's more comfortable than the Sperry's. However, I usually wear 8.5 shoes for running or basketball. But even 7.5 size of this one is a little bigger. So I'm gonna exchange it for a size 7 but I still love it.

These are great shoes. They have a little bit thicker sole than my Sperrys, which I like.

Awesome shoe, I wear it every day. Looks the same, hasn't changed one bit. However, the size runs larger than I expected. So get a size lower.

I typically wear a 9.5, but had to return it for a size 9; however, the shoe is really comfortable and looks great for many different occasions, but like other leather shoes it lacks in breathability. I bought an additional pair for when these wear out.

These Timberland boat shoes are wonderful. They felt broken in 5 minutes after putting them on! The style and color are just as described on the Zappos Web site. I would highly recommend these Timberland shoes to anyone looking for very stylish and comfortable boat shoes.

Great shoe for the price, decent fit out of the box. Color bled through and dyed my feet the first time they got wet. Sticks well on wet surfaces.

I have to say I have been wearing these over the past 10 years + now. and for the first time I have to say the quality is starting to slip... Traditionally Timberland has been know for it's rugged quality boot and shoe. But I guess as with all things quality is being cut for profits... First and this always has been a problem is they run big. Traditionally 1/2 size too big so down size 1/2 when you order. Second, the shoe laces no longer go around the whole shoe where you can loosen or tighten the whole shoe (including the sides). Although the laces show on the side you can no longer adjust them. Finally, and this is a biggie they got rid of the Vibram sole which is another mistake and may cost them in sales over the long run... The new sole is not as comfortable or supportive as the Vibram sole. it's actually thinner as I look at my old shoes. This is very disappointing since I live in them all day... I have put addition support in the shoe but you can really feel it when you roll off the balls of your feet which is disappointing... I don't have that problem with the Vibram sole ones that I still wear plus they are non skid/non marking. Isn't that the purpose of boat shoes to begin with?

Great service. Product is not good, way below previous model. Leather quality is poor compared to old ones. Must be some green effort involved.

Beware if you plan to wear these without socks - Timberland chose to use fishing line to sew the shoes together inside. The ends of the fishing line stick into your feet - not comfortable at all!

Shoes were horribly mis-sized. Daily I wear 10.5, and for winter I wear a 11 due to heavier socks. I bought the Timberlands in a 10.5, and they were so over-sized that even with a medium weight sock, I can easily fit my index finger into the heel of the shoe. This is my second mis-sized pair of shoes in a row, and I have to wonder if it's due to Chinese manufacturing.

Great shoe, well made...I bought whatever these were called 10+ years ago, lasted thru daily wear and tear. Like the black sole, never was a fan of the white boat shoe soles. Be aware, they run big, both length and width....I am a 10 narrow normally, 9.5 M in these shoes fits ok, still a bit loose width-wise.

These shoes are made with a lightly distressed leather which gives them a nice look. They are good for all around wear. They are not heavy yet provide enough structure for support.

I bought these shoes for my son and he loves them. They even come in wide sizes and are very nice looking shoes.

Perfect Fit ! I also ordered the same style on another website and the shoes were suspiciously discounted. The discounted ones were all narrower or seconds quality. Only these were a true wide fit. Thanks Zappos !

I am writing this review in December 2016. I bought these shoes in December 2014. I have worn them daily for the past two years and they have been holding up great. Leather has obviously been slightly scuffed and there is some wear on the sole. However, these shoes have been the longest lasting shoes I have ever owned. I have had pairs of hiking boots that have broken down with less mileage than these boat shoes. These shoes have taken a serious beating in rain, ocean spray and light snow and they have been holding up great and none of the stitching has come apart.
