I bought these for my 12 year old son who can no longer wear boys sizes but I also didn't want him wearing "big men" shoes. He loves these and looks very stylish in them. Only complaint is that the laces come untied very easily.

This shoe is fantastic. It's the most comfortable shoe for my foot in recent memory. The sizing does seem to be off though. They are at least a half size too large. All in all though I do love this shoe. It's comfortable. It's easy to get on and off. It is casual but looks great with jeans and a button down. I don't think they would look good with narrow jeans or a tapered pair.

Love these shoes. Live in them. Waiting to see if the grommets that the leather laces run through will pop out, like previous of these shoes.

Very nice boat shoe that feels incredible right out of the box. Fit is perfect, even with my wide feet. Must have for the summer! Zappos experience top notch as usual!

I normally wear shoes of 9.5, but when I ordered 9, it was way too big. I ended up getting 8.5 and I am totally satisfied with Zappos customer service. Though the shoes are mis-sized, thanks to Zappos, I was able to get a replacement pair in no time. As for the comfort, I felt okay even after walking few miles in these.

Ordered these for my very tall husband in size 15. He LOVES them! Very comfortable and stylish, along with great Timberland quality. These appear much nicer than your basic boat shoes, and the darker sole color allows them to be worn with jeans or dressed up with khakis and other dress/casual attire in a way that other boat shoe styles cannot. Also much more arch support and a better quality insole than other styles. Well worth the price. Look great as they wear in.

Nice shoe but definitely too big for my foot. I usually order 9.5 or 10 sized shoes but I am going to have to drop to size 9 just to get the shoe to fit.

I bought these in taupe and blue for my husband. His feet are very wide, so I worry about ordering online. The first time he wore them he was on his feet all day at work. He states they felt wonderful the entire time. He loves them. Great shoes.

This is the 7th or 8th pair of these shoes that I have owned. They are very high quality, good looking and they wear very well. The leather is soft and the construction first rate. I consider them one of the best shoes available. They are worth every penny and when these wear out, a couple of years from now, I'll purchase them again.

These shoes look great and I highly recommend them. However: they are oversized. I normally wear a size 11 but, after reading the reviews for this shoe, I decided to play it safe and order a 10.5. I ended up having to exchange them for a size 10.

I normally wear a size 10 but based on the reviews, I got a size 9.5 and it fits great, with or without socks. The shoes look great and they broke in after a couple hours of wear.

This is a nice shoe but heavier and more structured than older boat shoes!

Definitely runs large. Read reviews and ordered a half size smaller for my husband and ended up returning for yet another half size down, nice shoe though.

These are great fitting shoes. The only thing that bugged me was the stitching around the at the top edge of the shoes near the eyelets making them uncomfortable to wear with socks.

As others have noted, there is definitely a break-in period for these shoes. Give it a day or two to let the leather give and conform to your feet. I usually order a size 13, but wound up ordering the size 12, and they fit perfectly, so definitely take that into consideration when ordering. I did also wind up adding in an additional gel insole, but otherwise, these are very comfortable shoes. I'll definitely consider getting another pair.

They run big! Trust the reviews on here. I ordered a 14 and had to send it back for a 13.

We were surprised to see that it was made in China. Needed to have an insert to feel really comfortable.

Nice looking shoe and well built on the outside but it was about a size and a half too big. I usually wear a 12 in Nikes and this was very big. Also the insole was a stiff removable insole like you buy over the counter not a padding.

Need to exchange. Shoe is easily a full size larger then the 10 I ordered. Excellent construction. I like the casual look with jeans. Slightly nicer that a pair of boat mocs. Other than the sizing, excellent Timberland construction.
