I absolutely love these shoes! I searched for hours to find comfortable and cute shoes to wear to Italy. I need something with good support, but I'm only 29 and don't want to look like an old lady. These shoes fit the bill. They are much cuter than they look in the picture. They are light like a slipper but supportive like a sneaker. They were comfortable out of the box but took a little breaking in for long distance walking. The top strap felt a little tight at first but did stretch out. Some people mentioned issues with the sizing but I felt they were true to size. Overall I am extremely satisfied with these shoes.

I bought these for a trip to Scandinavia and they were great. I walked miles every day on cobblestone and paved streets for two weeks and it was no problem. What a great alternative to the usual tennis shoes or hiking sneakers (which I love) for city walking. Love these.

After reading many, many reviews, I bought these shoes for my two week trip to Europe. I had read they were very comfortable, durable shoes. I normally wear an 8.5 to 9, so I ordered an 8.5. They were a little too big in length, but the sides of the front section were pinching me a little bit, so I stuck with them. The sides did stretch out a little bit and they were very comfortable to wear to work as I was breaking them in. When I wore them in Europe and was walking 6-8 miles a day, my feet got very sore and I had to switch to my Merrells (my feet never hurt while wearing them). Also, be warned that they do get stinky/make your feet stinky. Overall though, I find them extremely comfortable for basic every day use, but they're not meant for excessive walking. I love how easy they were to take on an off (great for airport security) and that they can work as casual shoes, or slightly dressy.

I'm thrilled with my Ahnu shoes, how the look, feel, and fit., and with Zappos for shipping them so quickly.

A bit too wide for my foot...my foot is not exceptionally narrow but I do have a half size difference in my feet...so the smaller foot didn't fit as well. The elastic on the heel wasn't tight enough to keep it on my foot.

This is my second pair of Ahnu Karma shoes. I love the comfort and wear them instead of sandals. My feet thank me!

Very cute shoes, but unlike the other reviewers, I did not find them comfortable at all. Fairly flat on the inside with minimal arch and they gave no support to the sides of my feet at all. Soles were very thin and I'm sure if I had worn them outside I would have felt the rocks through the soles. I need something more supportive for all day wearing so these had to go back. They are cute though.

A great choice for walking around town! I was looking for a shoe with arch support which I could wear in the neighborhood and look reasonably fashionable. No one is going to mistake your shoe choice for the height of hipness, but you will feel great after a day on your feet at the local art fair or walking the dog etc.

I have been looking for a replacement for my black flats for four years. These are the ones! For me, these are comfortable enough to wear and walk in all day. Decent arch support and look good with jeans and khakis.

These are very cute but I have narrow feet and these are too big for me, width-wise and at the top of my foot. my feet were swimming in them.

Perfect lightweight travel shoes. Easy to pack and very versatile. They go with everything...skirts, skinny jeans, yoga pants, casual dresses. They feel good on your feet. Moderate support.

The shoes are very pretty and they work in after a few walks. I do wish that the manufacturer Ahnu would make the straps so we could use them to our each customer’s foot so they fit across the top. Every maker is cutting these days.

Love these shoes. They are my go to shoes for running errands. Also wore them to Disney World and was comfortable all day.

These shoes fit great! I was concerned that perhaps the cross-straps might be too loose (8 1/2 B my size) as my foot is slender but they are not. Not tight either, I must add. I bought them for my upcoming 3 week trip to Europe and wearing them now to break them in has shown their great comfort -- and look. I did use a permanent black marker to color the gray insole where it shows on either side of the shoe -- looks much better.

I love this shoe. It is very lightweight,with a supportive and comfortable footbed. It is great for walking. I bought this shoe because I was traveling to Europe and knew I would be walking a lot. It is dressy enough for skirts & dress, yet good looking with pants. I now own two pairs.

This shoe was too narrow for my foot because of the straps. I could not get the toes into the shoe completely. The front of the shoe was too narrow.

I love these shoes! The silver-grey is a perfect neutral color to match with my travel clothes. I got these shoes to wear on a trip to Vietnam, during which I will be walking quite a bit. The shoes were comfortable right out of the box and really cute, for such a comfortable pair. I wear a size 8 in most shoes and these fit slightly roomy, but not so much I'd need to size down - just very comfortable. I'm considering another pair in black.

I bought my first pair of Ahnu Karma shoes sort of spur of the moment. When I realized how versatile and comfortable they were, I could find other colors only on the ever-reliable Zappos. I have a normal to slightly wide foot with a very narrow heel and have a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes. The slight grip on the back makes this shoe fit perfectly. I've worn it in both casual and dress up situations, and it always looks great.

I LOVE these shoes. They are SUPER comfortable and cute with both dresses and jeans. I thought the brown shoe I purchased was more of a smoky grey (which I actually like better) and I just can't see it as brown. Does not compute. The only con is that the toe area does get hot so you end up with sweaty feet..not comfortable in the heat of summer, really. The other (related) issue is that the leather footbed (super comfy) retains odors, so even though I have clean feet, when I have been wearing them and get hot feet I feel they get a little stinky, which is not OK. I'm trying spray between wearing to kill bacteria, but not 100% satisfied yet.

LOVE these shoes. Bought them for a trip to Spain and wore them every day, averaging 10 miles of walking a day on city streets, cobblestones, dusty parks - everywhere. Not a rub or a blister in sight (even though I had a spot that sort of pinched when I wore them around the house before committing - was never a concern). Great arch support for the type of shoe. My only complaint is that because the sides are open, you do get a fair amount of dust under your foot and the insole gets a little cruddy requiring daily scrubbing with a coin. Highly recommended.

I have arthritis in both feet/ankles & used to have terrible pain daily from crummy shoes with no support. Decided to spend more money on better shoes rather than paying a pricey orthopedic specialist for ugly shoes and inserts. Had CONSTANT pain in both feet for years, first tried Ariat Fatbaby's-INSTANT, immediate relief! I am a fan for life, then I saw this moderately supported Ahnu Karma. I was worried the Smokey Brown was too dark or that they wouldn't be supportive enough but once I got them, they were much softer, mid-tone brown, not dark at all. However, the left shoe painfully squeezed my pinky-toe so I stretched it (with a sewing tin I have) over night and next day they were perfect. These are supportive and feel like walking in comfy slippers or barefoot...in the sand...seriously, they're that comfortable. I bought them to wear to work with skirts, dresses, capri's...they are so pretty too with the floral cut-outs and are true to size-got a 10; normally wear 9.5 to 10. Very happy with these shoes and so, so comfortable!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt these shoes were worth it! I just returned from a two week vacation in Europe. I bought these for the trip. They arrived the day before I left so I didn't have any time to "wear" them in. I wore them on the plane and, literally, every day for two weeks! They are so comfortable and so cute. I wore them with pants, shorts, capris, dresses and skirts. They are incredibly versatile but mostly it is the comfort. I walked every day all over cities in Europe and not once was I uncomfortable. They are the best! If you are looking for that cute, comfortable shoe for your upcoming vacation, look no further.

I ordered this shoe in my normal size 7.5 and fit was right on. It's very light weight and has good arch support. Good shoe to wear on hot days. Looks good with shorts, skinny leg jeans/pants and dresses. It's a great summer shoe.

Great shoes! I've had severe plantar fasciitis for the past year and am very limited in the shoes I can wear. These were comfortable from the start and they look super cute. They were true to my regular 8 1/2 size. They are wide, but that's what my doctor told is best for all shoes over the forefoot. I did have to put a cushioning insole in because after some long walks the ball of my foot was rubbing uncomfortably on the fabric of the shoe's insole.
