The sides are really very open on this shoe. My foot literally hung over the side of the footbed (which I guess means my feet are just too wide for these shoes, but they only come in one width). Still, they're so open I have a hard time imagining they would be very supportive.

I find these shoes to be quite comfortable and pretty stylish. I would order them again.

Super cute, super comfy. I'm usually a 7 1/2, but these seemed to run a bit large. I ended up with a 7 in this shoe. As always, Zappos return policy is the best!

I really like these shoes. I have wide feet so it took a little time to get them to stretch, but now they fit very comfortably. I wouldn't wear them to walk long distances, but they are pretty comfortable for walking around and doing errands etc. My only dislike of these shoes are that the toe portion hits my toes so that I have toe cleavage, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I love the green color, want them in black and may even get them in the plum color.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shoe! True to size, width and has arch support. I put them on straight out of the box and worked a 9+ hour day. No blisters, no rubbing, no issues and no "breaking" in period. It should be noted that the straps do not adjust. I can't wait for the fall colors to come out. This is a fabulous casual shoe.

Comfy and lightweight and cute...however, the enclosed parts are not well ventilated and get very warm when I wear these shoes which feels weird since they appear to be breezy sandals. So now after wearing them for about a month they are developing that telltale odor - wishing they had anti-odor in the footbed like many other sandals do. Therefore, I would not buy them again.

I have the plum napa color in the Karma shoes. I love them so much. I only bought them because I needed light shoes for the spring/summer time and I actually receive a ton of compliments on them. They are so comfortable and even though there is not much to the shoes, the leather is breathable and it does have good arch support. These are great shoes. I definitely am a new fan to this brand.

I can't say enough good things about these shoes. They are super lightweight but sturdy enough to walk comfortably in, even at a fast clip. Though I'd characterize them as the next best thing to bare feet, I can attest to their solid construction and to the fact that they saved me from a potentially serious injury when I took a hard fall on a road under construction a couple of weeks ago; my fabulous little Ahnus kept me from ending up with a broken foot. Ahnu is my new brand and I'll be building a new shoe wardrobe around these fabulous things!

Loved this shoe the moment I tried it on. It is comfortable, just the right amount of support for normal activities during the warmer months, and looks very 'cool'! Wish it came in more colors! (Hint!)

First, thank you for your rapid response to my order. I love these shoes. They are all that I expected--match my green purse, extremely comfortable, and adorable. I love them and know that I will enjoy them for a long time. I never heard of this, Ahnu Karma brand, but believe me, I will look for it for shoe purchases in the future.

I love these shoe. Very cute and comfortable. I would recommend going slightly bigger than usual on your sizing. I usually wear a 7.5-8 depending on brand & style of shoe and I got the 8's and def could not have gotten away with the 7.5's.

I absolutely love these shoes. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day long and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They fit me perfectly and my feet are average, not wide or narrow. I like the cross strap so I don't feel like the shoes will fly off my feet as many backless shoes do. The color is beautiful. My favorite shade of purple. My colleagues and my students have all complimented my shoes. I am planning to order the blue next. I will be traveling to Europe for a month this summer and these shoes will travel with me! I highly recommend these shoes!

So comfortable and cute! I have to return almost every shoe I order because of hip and knee problems. These were great since they have an arch and yet are flat and comfy!

One of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. I like how there is a nice support for the foot/arch which is often missing in minimalist shoes. I have bad knees and often flat shoes are not the best choice. This shoe I can wear all day and walk endlessly without pain. Soft glove leather and cute cute!

What a fun shoe! Very comfortable, the perfect shoe for running around a high school campus, which is what I do as an assistant principal.

First reaction? What cute shoes! Second reaction? What comfortable cute shoes! I just spent 2 weeks wearing these shoes on a walking tour in Europe. They were delightfully comfortable from the very first day.

These are great shoes. They look terrific, and you can walk in them over cobbled stones in Italy for days without pain. The only problem: if your feet swell on long airplane flights, you may need to wait a couple of days to wear these shoes because of the top straps; otherwise, they're wonderful shoes.

It's like not love. Good for a day when I'm not walking all over the place but not good for a day in the city when walking all over is a must. Cute with denim skirts!

I got a pair of Ahnu shoes in Denver last year on vacation. They were so comfortable. Was so glad to find them at Zappos. They fit perfect and can be dressed up or down. Great shoe!

I usually wear a N, but tried this shoe anyway in a B because I liked the style with the closed back. The toe box is a little big with a minimum amount of gapping. I can slip my finger in above my toes and run my finger all the way across so that gives you some idea of how much extra space is there if you wear a N and still get this shoe. The shoe is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Comfortable, stylish, light - you don't feel them on your legs, and mine hurt sometimes! You won't regret!

These shoes are awesome. They were comfortable with the first wear, and they're a little more stylish then tennis shoes. I plan to wear them on my trip to France.

This is a cute shoe and I liked it, but my normal size was too short. Sorry to have to return it. Going out of town so there's not time for me to re-order.

I have the Jackie shoe by Ahnu and the size 6 fits perfectly. This Karma in a six is wide, and too short. Very cute but has to be returned. :-(
