I've never really had comfortable shoes before, and I've been getting more foot problems recently. These shoes feel good on my feet and I think they will help keep my feet healthy.

This shoe is the best replacement I could find for the 1123 shoe that New Balance used to carry. Great shoe for foot problems like neuromas and neuropathy. Holds up well, good quality. I ordered a back up pair, in case they discontinue it or change it. Great with jeans and dark slacks, if you have trouble with wearing regular shoes.

I've always been a new balance fan. These shoes didn't let me down. They're very comfortable and good for walking.

They should not have ruined the fine reputation of the 1012 by putting that number/ name on this shoe. I have five pairs of the old 1012 because that was the perfect running shoe for me. I cannot comfortably run in the new 1012. I hardly even wear my new pair for other purposes. This shoe is a great dissapointment. Now I am struggling to find a curved last shoe with a wide forefoot, big toe box, and medium heel. I don't even need the motion control, I need a shoe to fit my foot. This is the shoe change that lost me as a new balance loyalist.

These are great shoes. The sizes are right on and the comfort and coolness is also. Light weight but supports well. This is my second pair and will buy again if available.

These are big, comfortable running shoes. They are warm (for those who care), but they fit well, provide a lot of protection, and are durable. I put a lot of miles on the shoe and value staying injury-free, and these meet both of those criteria. This is my second pair.

These are very nice shoes. The toe box is a little tight, especially around the big toe, so I would order a half size larger. These shoes are of excellent quality. They are also very light. They are suitable for most cross training activities with the exception of running. The bottoms are very flat, but offer good surface contact for walking or for just casual wear. They are extremely comfortable. My full length orthotics fit nicely in these shoes, so I can wear them all day without foot fatigue. The inserts that come with the shoe are removable. Another winner from New Balance!

I bought these sneakers for my husband and he loved them and wore them right out of the box. Style is nothing special...he does wish they were more stylish. He has a wide foot and finding comfortable shoes/sneakers is not easy. New Balance is his favorite.

These are really good shoes. They hold up under pressure. This is the fifth pair that we have ordered. My Dad wears them, my brother-in-law and my husband; they are all larger, tall men that work hard and sweat a lot. These are breathable and do not make their feet hurt.

I use these shoes mainly for golf. I walk 18 holes 3 to 4 times per week. They grip well, offer good support and are comfortable. I wear size 12 1/2. The 1/2 size was "spot on".

I bought these for my son's birthday, so the ratings are as he described. He loves the shoes and is going to buy himself another pair as backup for when these wear out.

I bought these sneakers to do in home boot camp workouts (specifically Power90) and they have been great so far. They are very comfortable and feel true to size - maybe very slightly big because the mesh front gives it a bit of a looser feel than a rigid feel (a half size smaller would have been too small though). But don't mistake that for a lack of support and they definitely have excellent support and I even played basketball in them once. It seems like a good quality shoe and I feel they were worth the purchase price. I am very happy working out in these shoes.

These are my favorite athletic shoe and you can see by the size I need comfort works great for a wide foot.

Well, I finally was able to convince my husband that Zappos was the way to go when shoe shopping! He was looking for comfortable walking shoes for vacation, at the last minute of course, so I suggested he select a style on Zappos and I ordered two sizes for him to assure the right fit. I haven't a clue why men dislike shopping so much, but the ease and simplicity of shopping with Zappos eased the pain and made him a convert! And VIP overnight shipping was the icing on the cake. Thank you again Zappos!

This is the second pair of MX1012's I own. I have a wide foot and Morton's Neuroma. The mesh in the toe box gives me the room I require. The shoe has good stability as I play court sports 4 times per week. I do use custom orthotics for support. I have not experienced the shoe falling apart as others have indicated.

Bought this shoe last year and it is/was very comfortable and supportive for my problem feet. Bought it this year in black for the winter but has a different toe which makes it too narrow. Liked it because it was great for a wide forefoot and skinny at the heel, not so with this shoe.

Interesting problem. The first pair that I received seemed narrow and long. The first time that I wore them the eyestrap pulled out. Your replacement that arrived the next day have excellent sizing, fit and seem to have the good durability that I expect from New Balance. I am assuming that pair was a one off.

I bought these for my husband who insisted he had these shoes before in a size 8 4E. He needed to go up half a size to a an 8.5 4E. He says they are comfortable. Sadly, he can only wear New Balance shoes made with one of their lasts. The reason I am giving only three stars is for lack of style and selection. Otherwise, the shoe is fine.

This is a good shoe, it's wide enough for my foot which is a big improvement over the MX608v3 but has an external heel counter for stability that makes my foot feel like it's tilting inward.

These shoes are somewhat comfortable, but I am not sure if they are worth the price. They are built with a totally flat sole giving them the feel of a skateboard shoe - not my preferred feel and not the most comfortable on long walks. All the silver trim is a bright shiny silver color, even though it looks like light gray in the picture. Lastly, the tongue seems strangely long, with about an inch of material hanging out above the top row of laces - takes some getting used to. They are sturdy and I suspect they will last, but there is probably better value out there considering how much these cost.

This shoe 1012 size 11.5 Narrow was recommended by New Balance customer care support and is way too wide for my foot at the heel and mid-sole, even with the recommended insoles they recommended I wear with them.
