After 1 year of normal use nothing unusual or extreme the bottom of the shoe cracked and I'm no longer able to use them as any water on the ground will sip into my shoe. The bottoms are made out of recycled material, that is probably why the failed. My real classic ones lasted at least 5 years and I used them a lot. I am a bit disappointed.

I have ordered these shoes in the past (two pairs about five years ago) and had been very happy. So I wanted to order two more pairs in differing colors. Styling is great in an old school way. The construction is top notch. In the past these had been true to size and fit well. The manufacturing on these nowadays seems to widely vary in nature and seems inconsistent . I ordered two new pairs and I was a little disappointed . This time the two new pairs (dark gray pair with purple detailing and a gray sole; and light gray pair with a red stripe and white sole); one pair fit well while the other did not (felt too small / too tight). The dark gray one- though fitting somewhat well - does not seem to fit or be made as well as the two I had ordered five years ago. The light grey/red stripe/white sole pair only feels comfortable when worn with thin socks (or no socks). Next time I will go with the "Suede Classic Crafted" model in the hopes that it will be more roomy / more true to size.

There is virtually no support in the foot-bed of this shoe. The style is great but they are uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. I'm looking for a padded insert so that I can wear them.

Ok, I am VERY disappointed with these shoes...they got such good reviews! Zappos is awesome, as always, so NO complaint to them. I'm a size 6.5 (woman's) and ordered the size 4.5 in man's. They fit well (length wise)and are look great. I really love the style. HOWEVER! They TORE UP my toes when actually walking in them. The toe box is VERY narrow and there is a seam on the inside of the shoes that makes it very painful. I thought perhaps they just needed to be worn in, but I can't take the pain. My toes have to be bandaged up now. My feet are not wide, but they're aren't narrow either. They're a normal/average width. I wore them outside to try to wear them in and now I'm stuck with them. Serious bummer.

The Fit and Size were fine but the Quality has really dropped. I bought these to replace a Pair that I have worn out and the lack of Quality was sorely obvious. A shame I really loved those Shoes.?

shoes fit alright however where the suede meets the sole of the shoe they kind of pinch in and felt very uncomfortable with my toes pressing down onto the sole like that. other then that worse pair of shoes I have ever bought. very uncomfortable and they were completely tore up within 3 months necessitating buying a new pair of shoes.

I have had numerous pairs of these sneakers over the years and been extremely satisfied. This latest pair ripped after only a couple of times wearing them unfortunately. I don't know how the rip could have occurred other than by basic use walking.

Was so disappointed to unbox these classics and find that they were no were nowhere near High Risk Red. They were faded like an old pair of shoes or as if they had been sitting in the sun. My anticipation of the returning to the nostalgic classic shoe was as dull as the red hue of the suede. So very hurt.

ordered these to replace a pair i had worn out. my last pair had a canvas collar and these have a plastic collar. the synthetic collar SUCKS. makes your feet sweat.. squeaks when you walk. total fail and i feel like i got counterfeit sneaks. be wary. Also the color started fading from FOOT SWEAT FROM THE INSIDE.. insane.. I am not a freak I don't have "sweaty feet" lolol this version of the show blows. I bought 2 pairs and am just going to to donate the the 2nd to a local shelter

The color was dull and not bright as pictured.

The black patent leather and the suede are not even close to the same color. The suede is closer to green than black.

Very narrow fit. Returning shoes.

Not suitable for walking. I thought these would similar to the Clyde in terms of fit and comfort. They are not even close. Avoid if you can.

Horrible! I don't think Puma had anyone try this shoe on before they started production and sales. The tongue of the shoe is lined with a hard plastic like material and it is so long, it stabs you in the front of your ankle creating a high level of pain with just a few steps. Must return. Unwearable!

I'm not sure what's going on with the manufacturing of the Red Suede High Risk Puma Classics. I purchased a pair last year and wore them every chance I could. I ordered another pair recently for vacation and I noticed the suede looked different. I wore them in the airport and the red dye on the sneaker bled and ran on anything it was in contact with. It stained my jeans and it bled on the white areas of the sneaker. I had to take them off. I was unable to wear them. Lucky I did not pack them in my suitcase. I did not have that issue with pair I purchased last year at all. Zappos was GREAT! They sent me a new pair. Unfortunately, I had the same issue so I had to return them both with no problem. Thanks ZAPPOS for the superior customer service. PUMA stop cutting corners manufacturing your sneakers!

These shoes fell apart within four weeks of casually wearing them. For your information I wore them on an average of five days a week. My work week is not very physical, I sit in an office most of the time so I do not see how a brand new pair of shoes could fall apart so quickly. The heel became unattached on one of the shoes, the front rubber soul started coming off on both shoes, and the small suede panels became loose on each as well. I have skateboarded in shoes that have lasted a lot longer than these. I do not recommend these unless you are looking to waste money.

I rarely will "flame" on a review because most readers will interpret that type of comment as being a disappointed consumer or someone who didn't research their purchase. I understand that. Basically, this is the most poorly made shoe I've ever purchased - and I purchase a lot of shoes. The quality of manufacture is mediocre at best; the materials are substandard; and after wearing them four times the stitching is coming undone. Waste of money.
