This isn’t the same suede as we had back in the day, or even 5 years ago. I have some original suedes with the thicker sole and the original tongue. The originals are suede through and through. These feel like you are walking barefoot, the sole is probably a couple millimeters thick. The tongue has a lot more padding and the shoe, the suede is tougher than the original. It looks the same to the casual viewer but doesn’t wear the same.

Love this shoe, but order at least a half size larger....there is no 12 1/2 e available, so I’m going with a 13 to see I feel it works....excellent materials, they look great, just having to do the size shuffle. Love Zappos

I really love these shoes. This is my second pair. The old school style is second only to the Adidas Campus in my opinion. My only issue with them is that they are so darn narrow in the toe box. Even after years of wear the toe box never really stretches out to give my toes room to spread out in the shoe. Wearing a sock makes it worse. So, I wear the shoes and continue to purchase more pairs because I am a sucker for the style. But my feet scream at me for my shallow choices. Pun intended!

Loved the look of the shoe but too narrow for my feet. Unfortunately had to return them.

All of the Puma suede collection is super cute. However, there is zero arch support and unfortunately the sole is glued into the shoe, so if you try to remove it (in order to add your own insert) you basically have to rip the sole out of the shoe. I would gladly pay a few dollars more for Puma to add in some (any!) support. By the end of the day, my feet hurt. These are initially cushiony because the shoe's insole feels soft, however there really is no structural support. In addition, the toe box is a little narrow, and because the cute-white decorative bottom border of the shoe is rubber, it does not allow the toes to move around. Experiment with sizing - which is also tricky because these are based on men's sizing. The style is gorgeous, and I would get them in multiple colors, however they are so bad for our feet because there is literally no support causing the foot to roll inward. If you have overpronation especially, and in retrospect, I would not get this shoe. I gave it a generous three-stars bc they really are cute shoes and they served a purpose when I needed it. Now that I know more, I might not get these again. Puma is an athletic company so I am really surprised and saddened they won't simply add in necessary support for their customers.

Brought theses shoes for my son he really like them, but the color is not what the picture shows it's more of a pinkish color then a red was very disappointed.

These look great and stylish. They felt great at first too, however over time my arch started hurting a lot and as soon as I stopped wearing these the pain went away. Maybe it is just me but it is really a shame for such nice sneakers.

I ordered these in Team Regal, looking for a red shoe for the 4th of July. Team Regal is NOT the vibrant red you see pictured here. It has almost a pink tint to it, though still red, and it's just blah, not bold. I am a womens nine, I ordered the mens 6.5 to wear without socks or the thin socks that are hidden. Fit perfectly. I'm just disappointed in the color. I want to order the High Risk red, but researching, I think it may be the same issue.

great vintage sneaker...a true classic.... runs a bit narrow in the toe box...

Super cute shoes, but the tongue is too wide and extends too far across the top of foot thus rubbing my ankles raw. Extremely uncomfortable. Not keeping.

Left shoe was a little cramped, felt my toes pressing against the shoe.

Size was ok (meaning it ran slightly small) but it was a bit too tight in the width

Zappos needs to update the picture for the dark shadow/black ones. I ordered this color and they are not black as shown in the picture, they are grey. I may return them as I didn't like like the color. They are also a bit narrow.

I liked an old pair of these shoes. They fit me very well size (length) wise and width wise from the starter. That's why I bought another pair again, but I felt they were too narrow this time. It's been hard to find wide shoes and bit frustrating that they made them narrower.

I wear a size 9 shoe - normal width with high arches - when they arrived they just looked small. I thought that I would try and break them in - well sadly Ive worn them twice and only been able to wear them a few times - always complemented - they are just too small. They look great. I would just order a half to full size larger. I would send them back - but the return window has closed.

They look fantastic (bought the purple w/ white stripe), and are super comfy. The white soles are a nightmare to keep clean though (those little ripples down the sides will catch the slightest hint of dirt in an instant), and the suede ripped right along the first seam after about a month of wear. My canvas Pumas have held up much better. I would have liked a bit more rigidity to the back, it fits rather like a slipper, not that that's necessarily bad.

For the cost, I wasn't expecting too much, and they didn't disappoint in that regard. Build quality and material is what you'd expect in this price range. The tongue is very thin and there isn't a lot of support, but it is an overall comfortable shoe After reading all the reviews about the shoe running small, I ordered a size 10. Usually I wear a 9-9 1/2. They feel like a 10. I have an inch between my toe and the end of the shoe. I would say they run true to size for sure. The shoes came with regular blue laces and fat white laces. The main issue I have with these shoes is the color, as the picture did not represent it well at all. Puma calls this color "Spectrum Blue", but "Spectrum Purple" is a much closer description. They have a great style and they're very reasonably priced, but I don't know if that's enough to make me buy them again.

I bought these in the Olympian Blue & White. Ultimately I wasn't happy with the color/style and returned them. They are as blue as they appear in the pictures, so don't order them if you are thinking they will tone down in real life. There was a similar blue in the video that I liked better but it's not Olympian Blue for sure. From a size standpoint I felt they were right in line with what I normally wear.

Comfortable fitting sneaker but they do not seem to last that long. I've tried two or three pairs in the past three years and all failed with rips in the leather at the toebox folds. (Typical flex points of a shoe.) These are where the suede is glued to the side sole. It seems like the flex wears out the suede, a rip forms, and a blowout will soon follow.
