Right out the box these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They are very supportive and feel like slightly squishy clouds on my feet.

This shoe is a great improvement over the previous aerobic shoe purchases. I appreciate the extra support on the sides and the extra lacing hole to tighten the fit around the heel plus this shoe pivots on a wood floor. I'm thinking of purchasing an extra pair.

This is my 3rd pair of Asics Gel. It is a good supportive shoe which I needed after a 5th metatarsal break and resulting traumatic arthritis. I'm no runner but I put a lot of walking miles on these shoes. The shoes fit comfortably even with my orthotic soles. The fact that they are sharp-looking is an extra plus.

I've always liked Asics & this shoe is great! I have been looking for a while for a comfortable shoe that will still be comfortable after 12+ hours on my feet! These shoes at first didn't feel as gooshy as I expected...but when on my feet at work I could feel the cushion. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on these shoes.

Love this running shoe and it was $25 cheaper at zappos than any other place. Cant beat the free shipping! The forefoot of the shoe is a little more rigid than I expected and my metatarsal bones are sore after a run, but I think I just need to break in the shoe.

I just received the shoes and I love the pair so much. I am recovering from a bad ankle sprain and wanted a pair of sneakers with extra support and these sneakers exceeded my expectations. I plan on buying my younger sister one who is a nurse and have been complaining of back pain. Thank you Zappos!

I've been wearing this shoe for almost a decade, just keep buying a new one every 6 months or so. Really great all around workout shoe, great support.

The Asics Gel-Kayano 18 are FANTASTIC and not only beautiful but they feel great. A little pricey but worth it. I need a good shoe - have a lot of foot problems. LOVE THEM AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had a knee injury from playing tennis and was looking for good shoes for everyday activities and gym. These shoes are absolutely amazing! I think that they actually helped in my healing process. My knee pains were not constant they came and went randomly - it was a very weird condition. For healing I used no medication but these shoes and took some time off but still performed activities such as walking and weight training. Again, I strongly believe these shoes helped in my healing process. I think it was from the previous tennis shoe brand that instigated the pains. I would definitely recommend these! They are so comfortable that even without pain I am buying another pair!

Fabulously comfortable and available in narrow - not always easy to find that. As others have recommended, I ordered a size 9 when I typically wear an 8 1/2 in Asics. The 9 fit perfectly.

I love Zappos and I love these shoes! They are wonderfully comfortable, and plenty wide enough for my feet. I teach, and am on my feet all day, and these get me through the day without achy feet. My only wish is that they had slightly better arch support, as I have one fallen arch.

The Asics Kayano shoe has always been my favorite. True some of the past Kayano's have felt better then other Kayano's but I have loved them all. They look great with jeans or sweats. You can never go wrong with Asics. They have a shoe for everyone.

This is the 2nd pair of gel-kayano 18's I have bought in the past year. They fit well, are extremely comfortable from the 1st time I have worn them, and they have great support. My first pair lasted about 8 months. These are great shoes for walking or running.

These are the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever owned and they don't require a break in period. Well worth the money. I wear a 7.5 narrow shoe and I must order these in size 8 narrow.

Great shoes! I use for running, walking, aerobics, and kickboxing. The GEL Kayano's have always been my favorite and the most comfortable shoe for high intensity exercise.

Great comfort! I did, however, change the insoles to help more for my back. I stand long times in surgery and back pain is an issue. During clinic days they really rock. Thanks.

I still wear my two-year-old Kayano16 shoes and love them. The design has been changed and now is painful over my bunion. Too bad they have to be returned; it's a wonderful shoe.

This is my second pair in the Kayano series. I love that they come in narrows (a must for me) and they accommodate my orthodics. MY PT says that when you get a new sneaker for orthodics you have to make sure the inside of the shoe is flat..which this one is. Other than that, they are a nice sturdy running shoe! I wear a 8.5 in heels, a 9 in boots and some other shoes and a 9.5 in sneakers.

Love these shoes! Super fit, feel great standing in place long periods and when walking. Look fab to boot! Highly recommend and plan on getting another pair in another color for work!

GREAT shoe. I've ran lots of miles on these and my knees and joints feel great (other shoes have fallen short on this). Good looking and durable. I'm 30, average 15 miles p/week and these have been an incredibly comfy and reliable shoe. Recommend!

I am a nurse and am constantly on my feet and I battle plantar fascitis. I only buy ASICs Gels because of my feet. I have a pair for work and a pair for working out. I couldn't ask for a better type of sneaker!

I have flat feet and have worn orthotics since joining the cross country team in high school (20 years ago). So the orthotics make me more of a "neutral" pronator. I pull the liner out to put my orthotic in. I ran +300 (road) miles on these, switching from the GT3000 and they still look and feel new. I did notice that I had slightly less ankle support when I switched but got used to it within a week. I've been caught in the rain in these and they dried out nicely. These sneakers feel lightweight but supportive. I feel that I have control with lacing to give my toes more room in the winter when wearing thicker socks. I have average-wide feet and wear a 7 dress shoe but a 7.5 Asics. I'm excited to try the Kayano 19s next.

I only run in these shoes and they are what my podiatrist gave as a recommendation. I have plantar fasciitis and have to wear orthotics, which can feel hard on your feet; however, since these are so stable and have great cushioning, you feel great. It's these or nothing else.
