These boots are lightweight, slender in the foot and fitted through the upper calf. They have a very low heel which is great if you like to move around a lot like I do. The size runs a bit small so I would go down a bit when ordering. The gray color is very pretty. I think these boots are keepers and will last well into the spring because it is not a heavy look.

Just got these and I've been wearing them around the house -- they are wonderful! Totally comfortable, with a "custom-fit" feel, and beautiful in the Camel color. They dress up or down equally well. I read reviews that said to order up in size, but I'm really glad I did not do that; I ordered my usual size 7 and they fit me perfectly. Love them!

Like (what seems to be) most of us on here, I was on the hunt for the perfect boot. I am going on a trip soon where the weather is a little chilly and I'll be walking a LOT, so I wanted comfy boots that were stylish. I probably ordered 4 pairs and returned them all, "this one is too heavy "this one has no support" etc. I was the Goldylocks of boots! Enter in Frye. I had my eyes on these the whole time as I ordered pair after pair. The price made me hesitant on these, but they are worth it. Are they slimmer in the calf? YES. But I have pretty big calves, and while they're a tad on the snug side, they work over skinny jeans. Plus, they're leather. They WILL wear in and stretch a little. They do not have the slouch look, but are very casual. Can dress up or down. I am usually a 9 or 8.5. Got the 8.5 and they are perfect. I have wider feet, and these are not too narrow. The tread on the bottom is great for no-slip. I'm clumsy, I need this feature! Overall, worth the price. Didn't rub my heels, no blisters on first wear. Good stuff!

I bought these 1 month ago and so far I have loved them. They are very comfortable and the leather feels wonderful. They have scuffed a bit, perhaps a bit more than ideal, but I did expect to have to polish them since they are leather. They do slouch a bit near the ankle, but not too much (and I am always very aware of my wider ankles!). I like that they are not baggy near the leg opening, but look very streamlined when worn with skinny jeans. Overall, I am very satisfied and believe I will get many years of use from these.

Love these boots! soft but enough "stiffness" that the boot stays upright & not too slouchy. And love Zappos for their great return/exchange policy.

Meh! These have no arch support to speak of, my feet hurt after a day in these for two reasons: they are tired from no support and also the stiff back of the heel part rubbed mean blisters. Besides they look really plain. You could not tell they were Frye. I would not recommend at all.

These are beautiful, well made boots that I absolutely love! However, they are much too small to fit my calves so they had to go back. I really wish Zappos would include calf width / circumference measurements for boots. These are gorgeous but I cannot get them even halfway over my calves so there is no chance that they would ever stretch to fit. I ended up with the Enzo Zapata suede boots that fit just fine over my calves.

These Jillian boots in Camel are very comfy. I've tried on several Frye boots and these are definitely this lightest weight. I have a narrow foot and a thin calf and they fit well. However, I'm dismayed to see that the Jillian boot is made overseas, whereas the other Frye boots I've looked at are made in Mexico. The Mexican leather and souls are thicker and look more rugged and well crafted, the Jillian has a completely different soul, much thinner and flimsy. I'm worried how the Jillian will hold up. I also wish they had a little more detail to them; very plain.

The softest leather, beautiful color, awesome boot - and I can't wear it because of my arthritic feet. Had to try. So sad!

I love my new boots! The fit is great. They look perfect with my jeans. I need to try them with a skirt or dress as they can dress down or up! The boots are very comfortable. The leather is very soft! I am tall (5'11") and I have high arches. The zipper side makes it easy to put the boots on. I debated on the size as I am a 10 or 10½. I could only purchase a size 10 or 11. I opted for the 10. The size is perfect with a pair of light/medium weight socks. I cannot wait to get my next pair of Frye boots!

I love these boots. I'm only 5' tall and it's very hard to find tall boots that aren't too tall for short people. these are great. Very comfortable and I always get complements on them!

Nice boot, just big. I ordered the 8. I read on the blogs that I should go up on a size. It wasn't necessary.

Beautiful boot! I needed something with a low heel but color to go with anything - these are it! They are expensive but will have them forever I'm sure. Cool boot with great gray/taupe color.

These are the perfect boot if you want a sleek, minimal look. I have looked everywhere for a boot with a narrower calf as I have small calves and this was great. Still plenty of room even for 'normal' calves - to tuck in jeans. Love the soft, pebbled leather. I ordered the grey, which is more taupe than grey, but am exchanging for black just because I know I'll get more mileage from my favorite color! As others have said, there is not a lot of foot support, but I always wear an arch insert, and mine fit fine into my normal shoe size of 8.

Beautiful, soft like butter, fabulous feeling finely crafted boots. I thought I might not like them when I first saw them in the box but when I put them on I didn't want to take them off. They molded to my foot immediately. This is probably the 6th pair of Fryes I have ordered and returned all the rest for not being comfortable. I have high arches, little bunions, issues with my toes so not easy to find footwear in general. I am somewhat between a 7.5 and 8, went with the 8 on these. I don't think my custom orthotics will fit but I am able to put in VIONIC with Orthaheel Technology Dress Slimfit and get a bit extra arch support even with medium thickness socks. The camel color is beautiful with brown or tan skirts, blue jeans, or my brown slim fit jeans.

These boots are very comfortable, worth the money. I ordered my usual size, 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I had been looking for a low heel boot for some time and these are perfect. I think with proper care I will have them for a long time.

I'm so sad to have to return these due to my small calves (they were just too wide for me). The color is beautiful, and workmanship/leather is top notch. Highly recommend these for anyone with larger calves, or who wants to be able to tuck jeans into the boots. Very comfortable.

This is my favorite boot. I ordered others from Zappos but compared to the fit and feel of this one and mainly the quality and these are the boots that I kept and totally like.

This boot is so beautiful in the dark brown. I originally tried the black. It was too big in my usual 7.5. It wasn't a lot different than my other black boots so I tried the brown in a size 7. So glad I did! Probably last me forever. I will eventually recover from the price!

Gorgeous high quality boot, a cinch to get on and off. The calf circumference on a size 10 is 15 1/4". I'd say they run a bit smaller than other Fryes in my experience. I wear an 11 and these are a bit too tight and the toe box is so slim I doubt they have room to stretch.

These are absolutely amazing boots. They run a size small, so order up! I usually wear a 9 but got a 10 in these and they fit perfectly. They are slimmer than the other Frye boots so they don't look as clunky and can be worn with skirts and dresses. They are incredibly comfortable and the gray leather goes with everything!

I just got these boots for myself as a birthday gift. I love them! I wore them about 8 hours straight through a dinner and a night out and they were pretty comfortable.The sole is a bit firm and there is not much cushioning on the bottom but that is not something I look for in a flat boot. My right foot is a solid size 9 while my left is about an 8 1/2. The size 9's fit just fine (a little snug on the right while the heel slipped a little on the left). I have no doubt that after a bit of wear these boots will fit just right. The color (whiskey) was just the shade I was looking for. I recommend the boots and will definitely consider this brand in the future.

I love Frye and these are absolutely wonderful! Get tons of compliments. I have them in black and will get the camel color pretty soon. I work retail and I wear these at least twice per week with no problems. Invest and you won't be sorry!

I love these boots! The leather is nice and soft, and the grey color works fabulously with most outfits! The boots are a little tough to get on when wearing them over pants, but because of the snug fit, the boots do not slouch down and wrinkle like other boots. These are my first pair of Fryes, and I hope to purchase many more!
