These are nice and comfortable (if you get them in your size, of course). They came in an extra pair of orange laces which made me happy. So far love them.

I looked for a long time to find some sneakers that I really liked...these are it. So far everything about them is pretty much perfect. I don't know why but I really like shoes with orange bottoms too.

These shoes are very comfortable. The laces are a little weak in construction, but these shoes can be one of those that you tie loose and just slip on. Set it and forget it! I would recommend these shoes to others!

These shoes are great! Very comfortable. My last pair of puma suede's pinched my toes a bit, but these have plenty room in the toe box.

Hi, me again. Well I have certainly put these shoes to the test. I spend a good deal of my day walking on a concrete floor in a shop environment. I wear them everyday on the floor. They have great support and at the end of the day my feet aren't tired and sore like they were when I wore boots. I now have several pairs (after getting paint on them, they became my permanent work shoes). They are super!

Good shoe. Better built than others in class yet not to heavy. Comfortable for every day. I wear them on construction site and dirt brushes off. Soles haven't worn too quickly.

I got these for my son, who is starting high school in two weeks. He really likes them. He has got a retro/hipster look going and these are perfect. I also got him a pair of Converse high tops, which he loves, and a pair of black Sanuk loafers that he can wear to church. But he said these were "actually really comfortable." He had a surprised look on his face when he said that! Those Converse All Stars and Sanuks look good, but they do not provide much support. He still loves high tops and Sanuks, but I would not be surprised if he started wearing these to school more often than he thinks he will! I told him, "They are Merrell. Merrell makes comfortable shoes." I guess he will learn on his own. Anyway, I recommend these. They have style and are comfortable!

Very nice shoe comfortable and they look nice with jeans. Shoes are a little bit narrow so if you have wide feet be careful.

Very comfortable shoe with NO break in required. They fit true to size and are great right out of the box. Wore these on a trip around an amusement park the day after they arrived and had no issues with comfort. One small little complaint is that the toe is a bit textured and gets dirty real fast. If you want clean shoes, these will shoe grime quickly.

I got these shoes for my husband and he loves them! They are really good looking IRL. He also says they are very comfortable.

Got my Merrell's in, looked better than the pictures. Walked around in them for a few minutes them on and felt a little disappointed. I felt great, but they felt like a half size too big. Sending them back and going to try a half size smaller. But I would absolutely recommend them to someone if they were looking for the Chuck Taylor style but better.

I wanted a Converse type of sneaker but with better support. Keens are the shoes I wear to work daily and I find them very comfortable, but too warm in the summer. I wanted a canvas sneaker for breath-ability and comfort and one that would also not bother my knees or ankles if I spent all day on my feet. These are amazing sneaks! Narrow heal, but plenty of room for my toes. I typically wear a size 10 Keens, but the 9.5 in these fit perfectly. I tried the Keens canvas version, but it was wide and flat and ugly. These look great (Bracken color), fit wonderfully and are reasonably priced. I am very happy.

I wear a lot of Merrells and these are a great stylish pair of shoes. Only negatives are they ran 1 size too small, the shoe laces are the slick type that keep coming loose, and zero arch support but that's normal for this style. Still, I really like this pair and will definitely be keeping it in the collection.

I like the style. They were a little tight (narrow) when I got them. Changed the lacing pattern so they opened up a bit. Much more comfortable now. I might get some thicker insoles too.

These shoes are great. They are very stylish and comfortable. But, as many have noted, the sizing does tend to run a bit large. For me it was only a half size, and I exchanged them without any problem. Otherwise this was a great purchase.

I love the look and build of this shoe, but unfortunately it was way too narrow for my foot. Strangely enough it was too narrow even in the heel.

I like the way the look. A little fancier than Chuck Taylors, much beefier, and with better support. The laces they come with are a little short and there isn't a whole lot of arch in the sole. But I can't complain too much -- I'm on my third pair.

Great looking shoe. Similar fit to other Merrel's, thought not the support or head room of the full hiking shoes, if you have high arches it's a bit tight, but not bad. I'm happy with them after 3 weeks of frequent wear.

Nice summer shoe. Lighter than other Merrells but good for a knock around shoe. true to size.

I bought these Merrell Rant Bracken shoes about a year and a half ago and love them. I wanted sneakers that didn't look like typical Keds or Converse and these fit the bill perfectly. They are comfortable for what they are, if you want orthopedic type comfort get something else, but if your looking for fun nice looking sneakers these are it. Always get compliments on them, someone even asked if I was willing to sell them. Wow!

Better in person than what I was expecting, very comfortable and good support. Sizing ran a little big, depending on how tight to toe you like your shoes I'd undersized a half to a full size

I like the style of these shoes. It took a few days to break them in since I do not do much walking around. They feel great. I am not sure how it happened but my laces broke while tying my shoes. I think one of the eyelets may have rubbed it and wore it out. I am working on finding replacement laces to match the shoe color. Other than that these have been nice shoes.

These seem like nice shoes, but they seem quite narrow for medium width shoes. I also wear a fairly solid 10 and these were a bit long (½" to ¾") from the end of my toe.

I have had a bunch of Merrell shoes before so I assumed I was safe in ordering the same size to get the similar fit. The shoe, however, is narrower than normal and the heel does not support or hold onto the foot. I found my heel slipping out slightly as I walked so I immediately returned.

These shoes are comfortable at first, but after wearing them for a while the heels dig in. The soles of the shoes wear away rather quickly as well. I really like the style, though. The shoes look exactly like how they're pictured.
