I decided to try these out, as opposed to my normal cargo shorts. I extremely pleased, and I am definitely going to buy a couple more pairs. They are light, comfortable, cool and very comfortable. I wish I had heard of them sooner!

Comfortable well fitting shorts. I like everything about them.

My son has a pair of these shorts and my husband really liked them so I ordered him a pair for Father's Day. They fit him really nicely and the fabric is very nice.

Hubby has had a size 32 waist his entire life. Several reviews said to order a size up. I didn't. I ordered the 32. Way too tight in the waist. Definitely order a size up. He likes these shorts a lot. The fit is great. Returned the 32 for a 34 and Zappos had the exchange at our door in record time. Thanks Zappos!

Perfect everyday outdoor shorts.

I ordered these in size 38. I usually wear regular cargo shorts, cotton, and I decided to try something different. I’ve lost over 30 pounds and it was time to get some new shorts. These are now my favorite shorts! They are very comfortable, light weight, and keep me cool in the hot Texas sun! The fit is perfect, and the 12” inseam falls just above my knees. I got the black and the tan, and I will definitely buy a few more pairs. The waist fits comfortably, and there is a small strip of elastic in the rear of the waistband. The zippers are excellent. The fabric is cool and very breathable.

Silver Ridge shorts are comfortable, functional, and boy do they last! I have been using a pair as an outer short for gravel biking for several years now. Sliding around on the saddle causes Lycra shorts to pill, but these shorts are smooth nylon and haven't shown a bit of wear. Worth every penny!

They're very thin and cool. Awesome for hot days. Have 4 pair the only negative is I'm a 38 waist and they run a tad small. I refuse to go to a 40 so I guess I'm losing a few lbs!

These run smaller than indicated. I wear a 32 in everything else but had to reorder these in 34, and they fit like my other 32s.

Shorts are great, a solid fit. The material is thin which I like to keep me cool.

I essentially live in these 8 months a year, replacing them only when they get torn or irreversibly stained. Yes, they are real "Dad Wear," but I'm a dad, so I can live with that.

If there is a better summer short where I live, I am not aware of it. They are the perfect short for the metro Phoenix area. There is no doubt.

My go to standard short. Built for speed and comfort in hot and humid conditions. I wear these nearly year round in SW FL. I've owned Silver Ridge Cargo shorts at least 7 years. Most all of those original shorts are still in service. Over the years they have gotten better. The internal waistband is now more durable and softer. Most importantly the top left and right hand pockets have increased in size to fit some cellular phones. This is a major improvement. For those who have never worn these they drape nicely and are very lightweight. They dry quickly and move well with you as you move. In addition to the functional aspects they look sharp.

For me these shorts are perfect. I wanted a lightweight fabric and a few features but not too many hidden zippers and do-dads. They fit me perfectly without the belt and they look lean even though there are cargo pockets. I think the style is very attractive.
