Nice quality fabric, thin, and comfortable. These shorts are very light weight. The color can be slightly different than presented on the website, depending on the lighting conditions, but nothing to worry about. Pleased with purchase.

Lightweight and durable, these have easy to access pockets and a comfortable liner. An especially nice feature is a little stretch in the waistband. Great shorts, highly recommend. The 12 in length is slightly more roomy. I know, b/c I ordered 10 inch by mistake and exchanged them.

I've rock climbed, hiked, and even swam in these shorts and can say they are great for most outdoor situations. I also enjoy wearing them around town, too. They are quick drying, durable, breathable, and flexible. Also, I love that the cargo style of these shorts aren't overbearing and are low profile. Can't go wrong with having a pair or two of these bad boys.

Good pair of shorts for river, lake and ocean wear. Dry quickly and maintain the relaxed fit of the shorts.

Wearing the shorts, as I write. Like the fit, functionally (the zippered pocket is great for keys), and durability. This grey is a nice neutral color. Have several pairs of the Silver Ridge shorts.

My husband likes it. He had a PFG pair and wear it everyday. This one is very similar to that pair and the material is more soft and thin.

Third pair of shorts in 10 years. I wear it pretty much all the time especially when traveling(hiking, bikepacking, swimming etc.) comfortable and fast drying. Negative: webbing in the pockets tend to wear out and create holes which can cause items to fall out(passport in Cambodia for me). All things considered I keep ordering this one

I live in these shorts all summer. They are very comfortable and light. I like the cargo pockets but have to modify them (make the pockets skinnier) so the right one will hold a cell phone without it turning sideways and the left so it will hold a pair of glasses (also without turning sideways).

Shorts are excellent especially for those warm to hot summer days. Great for casual attire and very suitable for hikes. All around good pair of shorts.
