I bought these pants because they are great for traveling & they also keep you warm in winter & cool in the summer. They roll up small for your suitcase & take up very little room. I have more of these in different colors.

If you do much hiking during hot weather and have little shade, these pants are really great. Shorts expose too much of your skin to the hot sun and moisture evaporates too quickly to be of use for cooling. I've read that skin under long sleeves and long pants is as much as 10 degrees cooler. The UPF 50 sun protection is a big plus

The blue was a little lighter in color. But Great Columbia product at even better Zappos price!

The heatwave weaken me terribly in cotton/mix clothing. The Silver Ridge Cargo keep me cooler & dryer than anything else I own. Also,, appear to be doing a good job of protecting my skin from the sun. Cleaning the Silver Rig Cargp pants keep the utility bills down as a result of fast drying. I'll never return to cotton sheating pants to persevere the hot sun & high heat Index.

The Mountain color is way darker than the image on the website. It’s almost a grayish blue.

I love this pants. I use them for kayak fishing in the sun all day and they help me stay cooler than wearing shorts.

Super light weight. You can wear in the heat. Great pockets. $37.50. For some reason they are the only color on sale... and they were the color I wanted. Getting them for a month In Portugal in September.

I love these pants. They are so light and comfortable, have lots of pockets to store my "stuff". They fit perfectly and are great for hiking, biking or just hanging out. Highly recommend.

I own five pairs of these pants because I wear them every day working in the field as a wildlife biologist. These pants are lightweight, quick drying, and feature a modern fit that doesn't look ridiculous like some other, baggy hiking pants. They fit true to size but be aware that they are on the slimmer side especially in the crotch area. My only complaint is that they aren't particularly durable in terms of resisting tears from thorns, barbed wire, ect. and I've had a couple rips in some of my pairs with one pant being shredded apart from an atv accident. Still great pants for all around outdoor activity and I highly recommend.

these pants definitely do their job. my husband likes to wear these underneath his waders when he goes fly fishing. Recently he tripped over a rock and fell in the water and his waders filled up almost full. within 10 minutes his pants were completely dry due to the material. they're lightweight, they're moisture-wicking, they keep you cool even when humidity is 100% outside, and they're wonderful for resisting stains.we definitely recommend these 100%!

This has been my go to backpacking shirt for years. Well designed and functional. Very durable nylon not polyester fabric. Size and color choices have been limited for some time and it's is now on sale, so will likely be going out of production soon. Too bad. Saw the Silver Ridge Lite at REI recently. Not even close.

Very similar to the convertible trousers that I have had. Great casual trousers for comfort and light but durable fabric.

These pants fit true to size. They are so comfortable but don't make me feel like I am wearing sweat pants or my PJs. I need to buy more pairs.

In the early Spring in NC we have morning temperatures that start in the mid 50's warming to the high 60's in the afternoon. I needed pants that could be comfortable in those temperatures plus allow me the freedom needed to play golf. These Silver Ridge Cargo pants are perfect. Light weight, washable, and good looking as well. Highly recommend them to everyone.

Working on the pipeline in the heat is hard to find clothes to wear that aren't as hot and are lightweight but also helps with sweating! These pants are the best!! I'd recommend them any day to everyone who has to be outside for a period of time in the heat!!

This shirt feels absolutely great and fits really well. At 5'8 190 pounds with a slightly muscular frame I was surprised as to how well it fit. I tried the size Large before at the Columbia stores and the only noticeable difference was the length of the shirt, with a tad bit more wiggle room. I opted for the Medium.

Great Pants! Very comfortable. Quick drying and breathable. I especially like that they protect me from the sun. The belt that comes with does a decent job but could be better.

I am overall happy with pants, price, and the quality of customer service from Zappos. Zappos was terrific about allowing me to return the size 32X32 which I had originally ordered and had issued a full refund. The 32X32 waist size was okay, but the fit was too tight in my legs and butt, and wasn't comfortable when sitting. I sized up to a 34X32 which was much more comfortable. The material feels light weight but is rugged.

The Omni-Shade material has to the most comfortable material I've ever worn. I'm 5'11" and the L fits me perfect. The shirt can be worn on any warm outdoor excursion or for a night out on the town.

I've tried every brand of hiking/travel pants and these are the only ones that meet all my requirements. I love the velcro and zip pockets to protect wallet and passport when travelling. The weight is great for travel; very light so easy to pack. They come in a bunch of colors so everyone should be happy with one or more.
