The pants were true to size. The stretch waistband keeps the waist from being too tight. I liked the change Columbia made to reduce the size of the Velcro strip on each pocket. Most pants have too big of a Velcro strip or too many and I have to remove half of them just to get into my pockets, these were just right, great change! They are light and cool even in hot weather and they dry quickly.

Unfortunately too small, nice material, color and style but did not fit

Comfortable, light, wind resistant, cool, tough, good pockets, solid belt. Elastic in the waist would be nice but adds weight.

Fantastic hiking pants. Lightweight, plenty of pockets, and excellent pants/shorts convertibility.

I have several Silver Ridge pants that I work in the summer doing landscaping work. They are light in the hotter weather and have proven very durable and if it gets really hot I'll zip off the lower part and turn them into shorts. I hightly recommend them.

Best pair of pants for wading fishing, yard work or anythiing else you do outtdoors. I have been dealing with Skin Cancer for several years and this pair of pants are very lightweight and cool. If you are in a boat and want to cool down just jump in and when you come out you will be dry in 5 minutes.

Bought two more pairs of these for my husband for Father's Day. He really likes them!

I love these pant for several reasons. Comfortable, Light, Protects me from the sun as I have been fighting Skin Cancer for years. When it is hot out and you are fishing from a boat. Just jump in and cool off. Climb back in the boat and you are dry in 5 minutes.

Materials are incredible, make these pants my no. 1 goto. Warm in winter, cool in summer! I could sleep in these, and the cut is a perfect fit.

I love these pants. I consider them my summer uniform. I wear them while working in the barn, garden and lawn. They're cool and comfortable to wear. I also wear them fishing in both fresh and saltwater. The SPF rating is sufficient to protect me from bright sun and the zip off legs make them great shorts. Only one small suggestion, I'd like to see both cargo pockets have zippers.

Had exact same in the past for years; needed a new pair as they got shortened too much. Love these, love all the pockets and they fit very comfortably. Wash and wear very well!

THis is my 2nd pair, same color, light and convertible. I really like it.

I love these pants. They are very breathable and dry quickly. The fact that they can convert to shorts is so nice too. They are also lightweight. I love wearing these for any hiking or backpacking activities. *the one thing with sizing is that I initially ordered a 30x32, which is my typical waist size, but found that pair to be too tight/restricting in the quads, so I went up a size.

These pants and others like them make a strong fashion statement, i.e. the wearer is oblivious to fashion. So I have several pairs. They are practical and durable and great for traveling and outdoor activities as well as being reasonable substitutes for sweat pants in Zoom meetings. And with the legs removed they are almost as attractive as regular cargo shorts. Things to work on, Columbia: Use a regular button instead of that jeans-like fastener which digs in, and the included webbing "belt" is so flimsy it's worthless. And don't change anything else!

Very comfortable pants. Fits well. Great for spring and like how you can turn them into shorts when needed.

The pants are very good. Ihave had several pairs in the past and they seem to last awhile and they are comfortable.

Great fitting, lightweight, wicks moisture, durable hiking pant

I wore a pair of these out--after about 20 years of backpacking and sliding around on rough Sierra granite. Glad to see they are still available. I love the convertible feature, the light weight, the quick-drying, the compatibility, the pockets. Great for travel, so much better than denim. Fit is perfect, little elastice segments they added in the waist help with that. Good luck figuring out the color naming though. "Gravel" means green, and "Grill" means blue, etc.
