Wore these out on a photography trip. Nice and cool material. Dried pretty quick around the waist where I was sweating a lot. Nice lightweight belt included. I love how they have one cargo pocket that is zippered. Came in handy for items I didn't want to lose. Overall great price for a great pair of functional pants.

Bought a pair a couple weeks ago. Amazing pants!! Light, durable, packable- Breathable! They fit perfectly, come with a handy belt and switch to shorts easily. Material is water resistant but doesn't hold perspiration, so they're perfect for hiking or other outdoor activities. Lightweight fabric is backpacking friendly, where 2 or 3 pair wouldn't weigh your pack down. Also a factor, they look great like all Columbia gear. That makes wearing them ANYWHERE even better. I can't say enough good things. I recommend them!

Excellent quality and great fit. Use to travel Europe and they are excellent for conversion to shorts during periods of temperature change.

The pant is lightweight, study, and looks good. After Columbia had discontinued another pant I tried the Silver Ridge but it fit too small. I kept trying competitors but nothing measured up. I then tried order one size lager than I normally wear and they were perfect.

I bought these for my annual trip to FL in January. We play a round of golf on the way from the airport to our condo. These easily convertible (winter long in MA to shorts warm in FL) pants save me rummaging through luggage for shorts. They are of excellent quality, very durable, good looking and I own several pair.

Congrats to your R and D department. I love my convertible pants. The light weight material feels so comfy. The workmanship is excellent. It's so easy to convert to shorts and back to pants. Now when I pack 4 pants for travel I also have 4 Shorts. And I love the different colors that you offer.

Pants are amazing, light durable material, omni wick, omni shade properties and they can convert to shorts when it gets to warm. Perfect for urban or rural use.

I bought these pants for my 16 yo son who was going to hike Philmont Scout Ranch this past July. He absolutely loved them and loved how they were easily converted back to shorts after activities they were required to wear pants to participate.

Great three season pants. Awesome for cool mornings and warm afternoons durable enough for fishing, then nice enough to go from the water to the party.

Include thes pants to the diverse Columbia wardrobe I currently own. Columbia is easy to pack, maintain and wear for the traveling and cruises we have enjoyed. The convertible pants are great for the varying temps throughout the day, or for when we have to cover up for protection.

These are by far the most comfortable affordable and versatile pants for hiking. Cool on their own, great to layer in cooler weather. Easy wash, can do it in a sink or a creek. I own several pair, so do my wike and young kids. Awesome pockets, tough material, nice colors (darker is better if you hike muddy areas.) We all live in these pants. Keeps bugs off in the backcountry, can zip off when you get warm. Buy several, you'll just keep coming back.

I got these for my husband to wear for hiking/camping trips. He likes them and is happy with the fit. And... he likes the zip off shorts option. The material is light and comfortable, and the cypress color is appealing. They should serve the purpose very well.

Incredible fabric...paper light but rugged in trees, on rocks, and earth wares...dirt, grass etc. lotta pockets and a belt...convert to shorts plus pretty quick drying. 3rd pair

These pants are comfortable for walking and sitting. They wash easily and dry quickly when hung up to dry and not put in the dryer which is what I was looking for. I like the feature of being able to convert them into shorts. The pockets are arranged nicely.

I have wore these pants in Africa and Asia great for hot humid climates. I wish Columbia started making them in taller sizes (aka 36 inseam) Overall great pants

I wanted to try these for use in working outdoors in hot weather AND for wearing on my kayak to keep from getting sunburned. I have used them out in yard work and they kept stickers, bugs, etc off my legs and they breathed well keeping me as cool as possible in the hot weather in Oklahoma. The fit was perfect. I am very satisfied with this, my first purchase of Columbia products.

Comfortable, flexible, and breathable. There light weight dry quickly can be switched to shorts if you like. I'm a charter captain in Southwest Florida, these pants are great for being out in the hot sun they have upf in them makes for extra protection from the sun.

I went on a two week backpacking trip down in New Mexico brought these pants with me, along with many other Columbia apperial. They were awesome during the day when it was hot they were shorts and when it got cold at night they were pants to keep me warm.

I needed some good business casual pants for work but not to dressy. These are great.

This is the third time we have bought these pants as our son grows and needs them for camping trips. They wear really well, dry quickly and are so functional for hiking because the pants zip off and allow you to cool off in shorts.
