These are interesting, but have too many design flaws for most feet. The straps need to be able to be adjusted, and the rope part seemed like it would rub. Merrell really needs to make wide shoes. People with wide feet care more about comfort and will gladly pay for it.

Great shoe, very comfortable. Arch support fit me perfectly. Unfortunately the shoe is too wide for my foot and I sadly have to return it.

These run big (at least a half size bigger than the Merrel Amber). The ankle strap is a bit snug. Arch support is okay but I would have preferred more.

Really cute shoe. I have a size 11 sort of narrow foot and these fit perfect. I did not feel the decorative rope detail would rub or irritate at all. It is actually sort of satiny material. The only criticism I would add is that they look more substantial in the picture. To me the leather and sole were a little flimsier than I expected for the price. Plus I sort of prefer Merrells suede like bottom for shoes that I wear without socks( i.e sandals so my feet don't sweat). Regrettably these are going back. But all in all these are adorable, very nice styling.

I hiked the Narrows in Zion National Park in these darn things! They were perfect. They can get totally soaked and be dry in a matter of minutes. My biggest qualm with them is that the leather straps eventually stretched to the point of looseness, but it was expected after the beating I put them through. So I ordered another pair for this summer, this time a size down because the originals were a little too big to begin with. These sandals have redefined summer footwear for me. Get them.

Fabulous sandal and kept me walking from one side of Beijing to another day after day last Fall! Adjusted beautifully to high instep and the support of toes is perfect. I bought them in Lychee and now I'm looking at a new pair in another color!

Sexy look without feeling like you are trying too hard. Very lightweight, and the sole is nicely padded/sturdy.

These are the coolest-looking, most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. True to size, soft leather, Merrell soles and support. Looks great with shorts, skirts, and crops.

Good looking and comfortable. I wore these walking & then walking more in China. The support was just right and kept me going in style. (Well, they do look better than the breeze clogs in my pix!)

Absolutely love this sandal! Soft leather and very comfortable. They look great with shorts, skirts (long and short) or capris. I wore these sandals on a 3 week trip through Russia and Amsterdam and they were great travelers. They even stood up wonderfully to rainy days, cobblestone streets and gravel trails. Loved them so much I am purchasing a second pair in a different color!

At first straps seemed a bit too tight, but after a day or so stretched out nicely, as all leather should. Now they fit perfectly. Very happy with purchase.

I bought these for a 10 week trip to Greece, Turkey, Italy and New York City. I had to pack very lightly and could only bring one pair of all purpose shoes and one pair of water shoes. I wore these every single day to sightsee, climb Mt. Olympus, and walk around NYC. This is a wonderful shoe that looks good walking in the dusty ruins, and on the streets of Manhattan. I love this shoe.

I read other reviews that said these ran half a size bigger so I ordered half a size down and they fit perfectly. I bought these for a trip to Italy and hiked around in them for 10 days. They were so comfortable and supportive and they did not even need to be broken in. No blisters, no pain, just comfort. My first pair of Merrells; I will definitely buy more!

I found these sandals by accident while browsing the internet and I'm glad I did! They are comfortable and very stylish -- nicely made as you would expect from Merrell. I usually wear 7 1/2 and the 7's were fine. Great purchase.

As usual, Merrell never disappoints! I was looking for a gladiator sandal with arch support so I'm glad Merrell came out with this shoe. Comfortable and stylish, can be worn with shorts or dressed up a bit with a skirt or sundress.

Great looking shoe, but insole too flat for my high arch. Not enough support. too bad!

Comfortable, stylish shoe -- I now have 2 pairs in different colors -- wish they were in a tan color would buy them too! Don't hesitate to purchase these!

I have wide feet and big ankles,and wasn't sure these would even look good on me,I needn't have worried! They are the cutest sandals that I have ever had,just love them!

I adore these sandals! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and are extremely supportive. Normally I am an 11.5 but the 11 in these fit perfectly, so most people might want to size down a half size. I got them in the green color, which is a lovely shade and coordinates with both black and brown outfits. The leather is soft, but be sure that you keep the strap around the ankle fairly loose -- the one day I didn't, I got a blister. Plus, they are stylish!

Super comfortable and very stylish. The leather is all one piece and seamless so there is no rubbing and the ankle strap is roomy enough to keep the sandals in place but not bind. Excellent value - I expect to get several seasons of use out of these. I stand in them all day for work and they are very cushioned.

Love these. Very comfortable - they don't rub or give me blisters. Lots of compliments from others too. The only thing I can find wrong is that they kind of feel like they stretch out a bit as you wear them, so now they're a little big on me. I'm planning on getting them in other colors, but I may order a half size down.

Super comfy! Wear these for work in the summer and for walking when the weather is too hot for sneakers.
