Bought these for my mom, but, also, tried myself. We have exactly the same size, but... My feet are narrow, so this pair was loose on me, like the most shoes. However, my mom's feet are more on a wide side and most of the shoes are tight for her. When she put them on it looked like they were made for her-nothing loose, nothing tight. She said that they felt very comfy and soft. At first she was worried about the thiner straps to be cutting into her skin, but they are, actually, a little looser then others and do not cause any problems. Great looking leather, just like on picture. I would get those for myself if they came in narrow size.

I ordered these in size 6 and size 7. The 6 was too small, and the 7 was too large. Half sizes, please?

Very comfortable shoes. Youthful looking, I hate old lady looking shoes although I am 73.

These are really cute sandals, but they offer no real support to my flat feet and they make the weirdest suction noise as I walk. I really have to return.

Merrell has done it again! Their sandals are out-of-the-box comfortable and cute! Love these! You can walk around in these all day long, and the style is great with shorts, skirts, crops.

This was my first time purchasing a pair of Merrells, as I am usually a Keens girl. I generally wear a size 9-9½, so based on reviews that they run a little large, I ordered a size 9 and they were the perfect size. They are very cute shoes but they did not seem to have the quality I expect from shoes that I am paying this price for. They are not poorly made, they just seem a bit flimsy and as though they would not last more than one summer of wearing. I put them on and boy, are they comfortable, straight out of the box. The straps are all very supple and, even with my high instep, they were quite accommodating. I do not consider myself to have overly wide feet, but the sides of my feet did hang off the outside edges a tad, but that probably wouldn't have been a problem. The problem came with every step I took of comfortable delight, my feet made horrible farting sounds! The insole of the Henna is very smooth and sucked to my high arches, which made them comfortable, but embarrassing. Were it not for this, I would have been happy to keep them.

Loves these sandals. I have another pair of Merrell sandals that are so comfortable I feel like I could go running in them. Those sandals have seen many conditions including beaches in Jamaica and streets of India! I knew I could trust Merrell so I splurged on these sandals, knowing I would have them for hopefully a good part of my lifetime. These are extremely comfortable, sporty and stylish. Thanks Merrell!

I love these sandals!! They are so comfortable and look great. It's taken me forever to find a sandal that I really like and I've finally found it. I wear size 9 and they feel true to size. And they dont look too bulky like some other merrell styles. So glad I got these!

I am normally an 8.5. I ordered this is both size 8 and size 9 just to see what fits better. The size 8 were just right - had it not been open-toed, it would have been too small. The size 9 is roomy and my feet were moving around while I walked. I kept the 8. So if you are half sized like I am, I'd say size down.

Finally, a sandal that is comfortable and stylish! They fit like a glove. My feet are not slipping and sliding all over the place. Highly recommend. I like them so much, I'm buying them in another color.

My Merrells were wearable right out of the box! I actually thought they would be a brighter orange, but as it turns out, this shade acts as a neutral. The leather is exactly the same color as the orange handles and trim on a D & B giraffe purse...very cool!

When I saw this sandal, I just knew. It had all the elements I wanted (and need) in a summer sandal: comfort, durability, and style, style, style. They look amazing: dressed down, dressed up, skirts, dresses, shorts, etc. I am wide in my fore and midfoot, unevenly between the two because of injuries, so, finding a good looking sandal that fits, is tough. I know from experience that Merrells don't always accommodate a wide foot, but after reading the reviews I was confident that it would fit, and it does. But, I'm not all praises. As stated in other reviews, the accent braided rope/leather, while being a stylish feature, is cut shorter than the leather. Why Merrell would do this, I don't know. A few cm more per rope/side would solve this! Leather stretches in ways that certain fabrics can't. So while the leather is stretching and molding to my foot, I need to fuss with the braid each time I put the sandal on and occasionally while wearing. It is starting to give after a week of wear, but this is the sandals one flaw in my opinion. Otherwise, the straps including the ankle is comfortable and soft. The footbed is soft and cushioned, with moderate support. Needs a little break-in but no irritation/blisters. I just couldn't give these up. They are truly lovely sandals.

I love this shoe. It is so comfortable and very cute. This is exactly how a pair of shoes at this price should feel and look. Everything everyone else has written is true. It is extremely comfortable on first wear and does run a little big. I normally wear 8.5 - 9 and I was nervous to order the size 8, but it fits just right. Can't praise this shoe enough!

At first I thought the straps were a little too tight across the top of my feet, but they loosened up perfectly within a couple wears. They are so comfortable, even when I have them on all day! Love them!

So, I love these shoes. But I have wide feet and "thick" ankles, so you've been warned. They tend to run a little big - I usually wear a 9-9.5, and the 9 is just slightly too long - but in every other way they fit perfectly, so I kept them. The straps have stretched a little, but I walk a lot, so that's to be expected. They were ordered intending to be a stylish alternative to Teva's, and so far they fit the bill. Possibility of chaffing from the rope-like straps, but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Accidentally took a roughly two-mile walk, some on gravel, in them the other day and came home great, so I'm pleased!

Cute shoes love the style. Bought in black. Fairly comfortable for the office, but straps of too tight, will make feet hurt. Tends to be a bit sloppy in heal area. Every time I wear them, people compliment this shoe.Wish it had more arch support.

Wow! Super cute and comfortable. I just love Merrill shoes and find they are so consistently great fitting. I am quickly falling love with these. I can see them going casual to dressy-ish. The velcro closure on the ankle strap is perfect and easy to adjust. My foot slides in easily. The footbed is super comfy.

I love Merrell. I had a serious surgery on my heel back in 2007 and I can't wear most shoes comfortably, but the Merrell brand has been a good fit for me. I would have given these sandals 5 stars except for one thing: The decorative rope strap on the front really cut into my skin (even bled a little). I cut the rope on both sandals. Still love them and will get them in brown.

Love these sandals! Have worn them on the beach trails, the sidewalks and the woods. They were phenomenal and comfortable the first day I put them on and they get better and better each time I wear them. They are my "go to" sandals for 2012 summer. They are casual but look great dressed up as well. I bought my second pair in green shortly after wearing the first pair all week long. Fantastic sandals! And cute as can be!

Awesome comfy sandal! My feet are two different sizes -- one 8 and one 8.5. I usually get away with 8's but they were a bit snug. I had to reorder a 9 in these and it was worth it. Love'em.

I have several pairs of Merrel boots. They fit and wear well. I wear size 5 1/2 in all of them. I tried to purchase Merrell sandals last summer, and ran into the same problem that I am having this season in that Merrel does not offer their sandals in 1/2 sizes. The size 6 is too large and size 5 is too small. A 5 1/2 would be a perfect fit. Perfect fit is a requirement for me in buying a sporty sandal. Too bad, the shoe style is great and would have been a keeper.

This is a great shoe. At first I thought the strap where the leather inseams meet might bother me but I've had no issues after first trying them on. It quickly softened and I don't notice it at all. The style is great, the comfort is great, very pleased overall. They are so light! I wasn't even sure they were in the box when they were delivered! Love them!

Just got these shoes today and I am thrilled with them! The other customer reviews that stated the shoes were "too wide" or "ran large" are actually the most helpful to me because I have wide feet. Hearing that shoes run wide is what will push the sale through for me. I anticipate wearing these all summer long! Thanks Merrell!

These are the most comfortable sandals! I wore them the first time today for a 12 hour shift and my feet feel great!

These are solidly versatile sandals. I was looking for something that would hold up to long days of walking and still look okay with a skirt or maxi dress, and this pair was the winner. I just took these shoes to Barcelona for two weeks, and not only did they perform well for hours of wandering cobblestone streets, they held up on a four-hour hike in the mountains nearby. And they look great with a skirt. The little rope detail passes under the leather strap near the toe and tends to dig in. I was okay with some moleskin but will look into a more permanent way to smooth out the underside of that strap for future wears (still, loses one comfort star). Looking at the pictures online, I originally would have preferred an all-black palette including the rope detail (or no rope detail at all), but once I tried the shoes on I felt like it was not an issue, and perhaps even helped make them more versatile.
