The length is correct but the strap was wide for my foot. Also, there is no arch support or padding for your foot. Cute for sure but not sure I would choose them to run errands in.

Great shoe! I had to order up a half size. Comfortable beyond belief! Definitely a barefoot walking experience, so probably not a great choice if you need lots of support.

I always wear a size 7 in Merrells, but I needed a 7.5 in these. The style is very cute and the color is neutral. The sole is thin, so that when you walk, you can feel the ground more than you would when wearing a different type of shoe, such as a sneaker.

This is a very comfortable shoe and really does feel like you are barefoot. Great for around the house and maybe a walk on the sidewalk.

A little short. I do notice that I walk with my toes pointed in a bit with these shoes. It took two wears of these to break them in for the toes. I have never noticed this with any others. But they are cute and comfy. I love that they do whatever magic they do so that I can wear them with no socks and have no smell whatsoever.

I guess I didn't read the description very well. After a day of wearing these, you will notice you are working a different set of muscles than you are used to, which was quite painful at first. I probably should have gone 1/2 smaller since you don't wear socks with these, but I kept them anyway. After one season, they do not look very good but they are my go-to shoes when I need to run errands, take out the trash, etc. A bit disappointed since these were to replace Tevas that lasted me 5 years at half the price.

I really, really wanted to love these. I'm the type of person who walks either barefoot or in pumps, not much in between, so a minimalist shoe is exactly what I need for casual wear. These are very cute in person, but unfortunately they have a couple of odd design issues that mean they're headed back today. The strap is non adjustable; in my case, that meant on one foot, it was too long to lay flat, bunching up a bit where it attaches at the toe box. The lack of a true padded insole wasn't an issue for me; but the lack of any liner at all meant that my feet slipped forward while wearing them, constantly cramming my toes against the front. (The toe box feels rather odd, almost as though it's shaped at an angle that wasn't compatible with my toes--a very strange feeling.) No liner + no ventilation meant they were also pretty hot in actual use. They're so cute, I want to make them work, but I'm not sure even going down half a size will work for the slipping. They just don't feel oversized...more like wrongly shaped for my foot (size 9, average width, long toes). It's too bad. :(

Comfortable little shoe. With my size 11 and kind of wide foot, it was a great fit. I wanted something with a bit more support though. Perhaps if the styling suited me better, I would have forgone the support, but it just didn't have much zing.

I wear a size 11 which is what I ordered. These shoes are too short, and unfortunately do not come in a size 11 1/2 so I will be returning them.

These are really cute, and I was hoping to have something to wear with skirts, but unfortunately they don't work for my feet. My toes slid forward when walking and became pinched by the hard front of the shoe.

These are really comfortable (if you are used to barefoot shoes). But I thought the strap and the white embroidery made it look weird. I would prefer it in a solid color without the strap.

I bought size 11 in port royal (great color). As a large-footed woman, I am used to having a hard time finding cute shoes and so I often settle for less-than-perfect. I love the way these shoes look and I love the fact that I can wear them to work and to semi-dressy occasions. I am not crazy about the sizing (the 11 (42.5) is too short for my Eur 43 feet) and I wish I had found true barefoot technology (sole is not thin or flexible enough and toe box isn't wide enough). But, Vivo Barefoot doesn't make women's shoes in my size, so this is as good as it gets. My strap button hasn't fallen off yet (as other reviewers have said), but the strap doesn't hold on very sturdily. To Merrell: I want to mention how thankful I am that you are trying to offer a complete barefoot line. I've gone barefoot and I never want to go back, not even in dressier occasions. Keep up the good work designing attractive barefoot shoes. When you work out all the kinks, I'll be here to buy more. Also, please consider going to a 43!

I absolutely love this shoe and find I wear it constantly. My only problem is the little strap button has come off on two different pairs of these shoes. I haven't seem that mentioned by other reviewers but once it comes out it is impossible to keep it in the shoe. For this reason I must drop the star rating to a 3.

It is hard to judge shoes by style and comfort when the sizing is so horribly off. I purchased these in a size 8 and I could easily fit two fingers between my heel and the back of the shoe. They seemed cute and I like the barefoot idea for comfort, but I found another pair that I like rather than order and return 2-3 more pairs to try and find the correct size for my feet.

Think about what you are buying here. BAREFOOT Marrell. Don't ignore the barefoot part. No support at all what so ever. I read a few reviews that said they were good for a long day at work. Well they aren't. I'm not sure where you would wear them to, but not if you need support walking or standing at work. They may be good for rock climbing. On rocks that aren't sharp. :) They are super cute though ;) Had to return =(

The sole seems to thick to be considered a barefoot shoe... just a traditional Maryjane feel. The toe box wasn't wide for the little toes like a barefoot shoe should feel. Otherwise it is really cute. I'm going to checkout the Vivo's maryjanes.

I loved these shoes. I wore them everyday to work, as I am currently pregnant, and cannot wear high-heeled shoes. These provided enough support, despite it being flat. However, I am very disappointed that after 5 months of wear, it is giving up on me. The little button where you hook the strap on came off. And the sides of my shoes started falling apart. Sadly, I would have to give these shoes up. I'm not sure if it's worth buying another pair, given that its life span was only 5 months.

These did NOT work for me. They were much too loose overall and toward the back of the foot, while being rather tight and squinchy in the toe area. As a former dancer, I could have lived with the tight toe part, as that is reminiscent of ballet slippers. But no way could I deal with the sloppy, wide main part of the shoes! Who are all these people with wider feet that the shoe companies are trying to accommodate during the last few years? Do they really exist? Seems as though in the past, "combination lasts" with narrower heels were commonplace and easy to find. WHAT HAPPENED?

The 8.5 (my usual size) was too short. I was disappointed that this shoe does not have as much support as the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove -- a shoe I really like. I thought similar names would mean more similar styles. Sadly, I am returning the shoe.

I returned these because they squished my toes at the front. If I moved my foot to the very back, it was okay, but if I just put them on as my foot would naturally fall, it was quite crammed.

I listened to the person who said that these run large and ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear the first time. Alas, they were too short. Reordered in my normal size and will be returning. The angle of the toe is just not very comfortable on the outer toes and overall, I need more support. If you are into the "barefoot" craze, these would be great--just not for me!

These shoes are a conundrum for me... I usually wear a size 7, but the 7's had my outer toes hitting the top end of the shoe. So I went up half a size- same problem.. Then I went up a full size... they stopped hitting the top of the shoe but the shoe was way too large- they were kinda floppy. so then I thought I'd go down to a size 6 thinking maybe the 7's were hitting the top of the shoe because they were too long and my foot would slide up... but the size 6's were even worse with the toes scratching up the top.. So it looks like I have to choose between my outer toes hitting the end of the shoe or the shoe flopping around from being too big everywhere else. I was really bumbed out about it, but I feel a little better after reading a bunch of reviews where others had the same exact problem I had. Misery loves company I guess. All the sizes I got in this shoe went back. Will try the serene to see if that fits better though I don't like their style as much.

Super lightweight and cute, but had to send them back as my toes were not comfy. Merrell Barefoot sneakers worked well for me.

Bought these in Guava, thought they'd be yellow but they were green. I wear a 10.5 or 11, and the 10.5 wasn't quite large enough in this style (although some other Merrell styles are). Also not quite as comfortable as I'd hoped from the reviews... returned them, will try something else instead.

Despite the positive reviews and the fact I really wanted to like this shoe, I'm sending these back. Although it looked white in the picture, the color is actually more of a gray (which makes sense because the color name is aluminum). The toes on my left foot hit uncomfortably against the top of the shoe when I walked, but my right foot was fine, so I hesitate trying another size. Maybe I am not used to having a barefoot shoe, but they just felt funny and not as cute as I would have hoped when they were on. I usually am a fan of Merrell for boots, but just not of these shoes.
