Great shoes. Comfortable right out of the box. First use: tromping around the French Quarter in New Orleans, without breaking them in. Very comfortable, no blisters or rubbing. Coming up next: Germany. Plus I even had comments from teenagers on how cute they were! I have feet that are wider in the toe box area and these fit fine!

Doesn't fit my narrow foot as well as the styles that lace. Even so, the left arch strap was 1/4 inch longer and sewn at a different angle than the right strap making the right and left shoes fit differently. If they were both like the right, I might have been able to put innersoles in the front half of the shoe to take up the high toe box and keep my foot back. Just not the right style for me I guess. Cute, and well made other than that. Oh, and because it doesn't lace, my left (lazy ankle) falls inward...the reason for the no arch support comment. Tried to give it a 4 star overall but it's stuck on 5. Go figure.

Love these shoes! They are exactly what I wanted and I am thrilled with them. I find the strap and the button hook work great for me. I know others had complained about them, but I like the easy off. They are very comfortable and my favorite shoe right now!

I absolutely love my barefoot shoes! This is my first pair and I hope to buy another pair in another color. I reach for them more than any other pair of shoes. They did take some breaking in, but now I can walk in them all day. I usually wear a 9 1/2 but think I will size up one half size as my big toes hit the front of the shoe. I wear these to work - I walk a lot at work and my legs and feet never hurt. Love, love, love them!

Bunion owners, look no further! These are the best. There is plenty of room for wide forefoot, narrow heel, no pressure points whatsoever. Even though I have very high arches in addition to bunions, and that usually requires arch support, because of the barefoot technology, these shoes make me walk differently so I do not notice a need for extra arch supports. Pinky toe calluses went away entirely, and bunion calluses are shrinking. Now I need a pair for lighter colors. I can get away with the black ones at work, I am not so sure about the lighter colors because the rubber is more visible in contrast.

This is the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I purchased them, put them on my feet, and went straight to the airport, as I was leaving on a 2 week international trip to Paris and Iceland. These are barefoot/minimalist shoes, so if you get them and think to yourself, "What the heck, I didn't pay this much for flimsy slippers!" these might not be the shoe for you. I wore these every day in Paris and Iceland, and I didn't get any blisters in the typical spots (heels and toes)--I ended up getting a big blister on my left forefoot between my big and second toe on the padded part of my foot--but I didn't know I had a blister--I couldn't even feel it! I think I got it because I didn't ease into wearing these shoes. Regardless of the blister, it was the most innocuous blister I've ever had, so I'm still calling this a major victory. I always feel like I'm falling over when I wear shoes, like I'm off balance and about to tumble. I've not had that issue once while wearing these shoes. I feel lighter on my feet than ever before, and I'm so, SO glad that I've finally found THE pair of shoes for me. It rained a lot while we were in Paris, but the shoes dried rather quickly and I did not have any issues with slipping unless I was walking on a metal surface. Because they're flexible and essentially flat (I think each shoe weighs something like 4 ounces) the shoes wouldn't take up any space in a suitcase (I wouldn't know because I wore them the whole time!) My feet can get stinky, especially in the summer, so I do have some potential future concerns regarding the anti-microbial layer that's infused into the sole of the shoe. It's held up the past 2 months I've had them, but I know you can't just throw these in the washer (vegans beware, the shoe has real animal leather so you'll not want to purchase these). But, I'm about to buy another pair (I bought the black pair first) so I'm obviously very pleased and willing to take the risk of possible smelliness.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are much more comfortable than sneakers, and better exercise for the feet, ankles and legs. Walking outside on grass or concrete is fine, but too much walking at the mall left my feet feeling really fatigued and achy. They are better for outside.

These shoes are sturdy. I have had the same pair for years (or whenever they first came out). They are not water shoes but I wear them for walks on the beach. I often walk in the water and they can take it! I am impressed with the quality. And also they are very comfortable on my aged and problematic feet. They are not particularly cute, but there are not many shoes that are cute on my size 10 1/2 foot.

I hate shoes. But I really liked these. Being a fan of walking barefoot, I decided to give minimalist/barefoot shoes a go. Definitely not for everyone, if you need arch support don't wear these. I bought 8.5 and feel the toe rub, so I'm going to have to size up to 9. Other than that, they're comfortable, look good (I can wear them to work in a semi-professional environment), and wear them out walking or hiking.

I love these shoes! The first couple of days that I wore them, I was afraid that they weren't going to work for me. When reviews said no support, they really meant no support. After wearing them for about a month, they are now my go to shoes for everyday wear. They definitely have a barefoot feel, which it turns out I love. They are extremely light, and my feet don't hurt at all after a days wear. I love the style, and may buy them in another color!

I bought these to replace a beat-up pair of Skechers mary janes that I wear to work. They are fantastically comfortable! This is coming from someone without a history of foot problems and with straight sized feet (not wide or narrow). However, they do run half a size large and are a little less cute than in the pictures. Overall I am really satisfied with this purchase, and the shoes are well made. I had to return the first pair to get one for half a size down, and the process was amazingly quick and easy! I will definitely shop a Zappos again, and I will definitely be checking out Merrell again!

Beautiful shoe! Soft, lovely design. Having several of this type of shoes, it was exactly what I was looking for just too large. INDIGO is PURPLE, not blue, not even blue-ish. A very rich purple. Since I need a smaller size anyway, I'm going to try a different color.

I got this shoe for a few reasons; 1. I wanted to build my legs up by going natural as I can and the barefoot shoes idea seems like it would have merit. 2. Need it to be able to wear for along period of time with high amounts of walking and climbing, and hiking. 3. For comfort as well. What I got was all those things. When I wear this shoes it feels great. After wearing it for about 30 minutes it conforms to your foot to make it feel as if its apart of your foot you won't even realize your wearing shoes. I walk all over the place with this shoes. At first I did get a little of a rub on my left pinky toe but its fine now as for hiking and climbing and giving you natural like walk it's all of those. No back issues either. I recommend these to everyone. Oh, I've also had these for a couple of months before writing. Planning on buying a few more pairs.

I was looking for total comfort and that's what I got with these awesome shoes! My feet sweat but not in these. And I am one to have band-aids on hand for blisters but I never got a blister, not even a toe blister. They were comfortable and cute from the moment that I put them on. A must purchase shoe!

Nice minimalist shoe. Dressy enough for the office, but very comfortable. Like all minimal shoes, you need to be careful what type of pants you wear as to not walk on the pant legs all day. I'm rating the style a little lower because the big strap across the front gives these a more athletic look.

Love this show, adorable and comfortable! At first they felt tight, sort of as if my toes were getting squished forward... but after wearing them around the house for half an hour, they were totally broken in and felt fine.

After months of research about this barefoot thing, I decided to try it. These are, perhaps, the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and yes, it does encourage a person to walk differently. There are times when more cushion might be nice (hours on concrete) but most of the time, the fact that I can feel what I'm walking on actually makes me pay more attention to posture and balance. The leather conforms like a glove to your foot. It was a teensy bit tight on my two littlest toes on the left foot, not enough to order the next size. Out came the shoe stretcher, et voil, a perfect fit. Wore then for miles of walking in Greece over Christmas. And they are cute!

These are great barefoot shoes! I wanted something I could wear on a vacation as we walk around and I was pleased with these. If you want cushion, this is not your shoe - but it is nice if you like the barefoot model. I took away a star for comfort because they run slightly smaller than I would like in the toe.

I am a teacher and am on my feet most of the day. I also have trouble finding flats that don't rub my feet so badly I end up with blisters. These shoes are perfect for both issues. They are so comfortable! This was my first pair of barefoot shoes, but they won't be my last. I have the black and the cream colors. They are casual enough to go with jeans or dressy enough for dress pants. After having tried so many flats I've lost count, I've finally found the perfect pair!

Merrell Barefoot shoes are wonderful! I am no athlete, so when I needed to strengthen my knee and leg muscles for an upcoming knee replacement surgery I knew I had some work to do. Besides doing minimal pre-op exercises, I bought a pair of Run Pace Glove shoes and gradually built up the length of time wearing them (very important!) and then wore them throughout my work day. I had no idea how much they had strengthened my legs until after the surgery when I began physical therapy. All the therapists and my doctor were amazed at how quickly my muscles recovered and how strong they were. Since then, I have bought 2 more pair of the Merrell Barefoot shoes, including this pair of black Life Wonder Glove that are dressy enough for church. I hope they keep making these shoes for a long time.

These are very cute shoes. They are comfortable right out of the box. These are quite support-less but no different from any other ballet flats that I have. I usually am a solid size 9 but these were a little too big. I am sending them back for an 8½.
