I was looking for comfortable shoes that look good without socks and with shorts. These are exactly what I was looking for. I get compliments every time I wear them. Just a word of caution. When they call them barefoot they really mean it. So if you are looking for something with arch support or cushioning, these are not for you. I usually wear a 6 but every once in a while I wear a 5½. For these I liked the 5½, so they may run just a bit large.

I was looking to buy a pair of shoes to wear on a trip. I wanted a cute comfortable pair for a lot of walking that weren't sneakers and these are perfect. I'm really digging the barefoot shoe. I don't get blisters no matter how far I walk.

I have never tried a barefoot shoe before. I love it! Unlike a ballet flat, the strap and the elastic heel ensure it stays on your foot and you do have some arch support as the shoe conforms to your foot at the arch. I bought these shoes because I developed lower back pain and heels were aggravating it. So far so good! It is a joy to walk in these... I always enjoy being barefoot when I can be.

Best shoes ever. I am on my feet all day running around at work & I tried all the other good for your feet shoes and I would still come home with blisters and sore feet. Not any more. I love being barefoot and these are a stylish work friendly way to do it. If you commute by mass transit or walk at work...you don't need to look odd with tennis shoes and a skirt suit anymore! I love these shoes. This line is pretty much all I wear.

Love Merrell. I have learned to order a smaller size. Usually wear a size 6...have to order 5. Fits perfectly. So cute.

Love this shoe! Super comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size smaller, since I tried this on in a local store before I purchased. I'm thinking of getting these in another color too.

These shoes are really comfortable. The color and style make them versatile for wear with a variety of outfits. My third pair of Merrells. Love them all.

Like walking barefoot. I use them whenever I don't feel like wearing bulky shoes. So quick to get on and go. I love them and I love Zappos customer service. You are the best!

I had the wrong walking shoes for a city vacation and my feet hurt unbearably. I bought these at another store (sorry Zappos) and walked out wearing them. I bought them in guava and am considering a second pair in another color. I wear an 8 1/2 M and they are true to size. I live in these shoes when I am not walking barefoot in my home. I'm 61 and love the style.

These shoes are unlike any others I've tried. I need comfortable flat shoes for being on my feet all day. I've tried lots of different styles and these are hands down my favorites. They stretch to fit really well -- no sore spots, no rubbing -- and they're as truly flat as anything else I've ever worn. They breathe nicely and my feet don't get sweaty in them. I like them so much I'm getting a second pair. They're certainly not for everyone as they don't offer much in the way of support, but for being on my feet all day I don't think I could be happier with them.

I love this shoe! It is so comfortable and versatile. Ordered my normal Size 7 and it fit perfectly. I have bunions so fitting a shoe is not usually easy for me. Only Zappos free shipping for orders and returns gave me the confidence to order a shoe online.

Merrell Barefoot shoes are supposed to fit "snug." You're not supposed to allow that extra thumb-width of space at the toe because they are supposed to fit "like a glove," as the name implies. Merrell shoes in general run about a half size small. I'm a pretty solid 9 1/2 in most shoes, but every Merrell shoe I've ever had or tried on, I'm a perfect size 9. About the Barefoot Wonder Glove specifically, if you don't have long toes, these shoes are the perfect hybrid shoe to give you the comfort of a barefoot/athletic shoe with the style of a ballet flat. There are NO sharp edges that cut into your feet, and they can dress up more than you'd expect! The ONLY problem with this shoe, for me, is that it fit to my toes more like a beginning climbing shoe. My big toe fit perfectly with the length of the shoe, but my long toes were slightly bent because the toe box narrows on the outside. And this was while sitting! My toes in this shoe cannot spread while I walk, like they would if I were barefoot. Merrell needs to join Altra running shoes and work on foot-shaped toe-boxes and create a truly barefoot-like shoe!

Despite having no arch support, I find that I pronate less in these shoes than in shoes with my orthotics. A little padding to separate my foot from the street would be nice, but overall these shoes are a great surprise for someone with seriously problematic feet and ankles. Just don't wear them when it is raining because you will have no traction.

These are nice shoes - pretty and comfortable. The toe is narrower than the rest of the shoe which is why it feels a bit small. The rest of the shoe is soft and true to width, but if you have wide feet, you might want to try a size larger. What you don't want to do is go for long walks. I have high arches, so arch support isn't an issue for me, but I would like a bit more cushioning in the heel. The other problem is that the minimal traction in the vibram sole/heel is wearing down after only a few days.

Nice fitting, but the fabric on the side of the shoe is way more gray than it looks like on the picture.

This shoe is very comfortable. There is no padding, so be warned - it's as if you are barefoot. I have had my shoes for a couple of months, and the strap on one shoe pops off the button (it's a loop over a small button). I have a wide foot, and these shoes worked well for me.

These are okay. They would be great if the toebox wasn't so short. I have a normal length foot and my toes are pushed up against the top of the shoe, causing blisters. I still have hope for them, though, so I'm going to get the toebox stretched. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Also, there is a bit of a teenager feel to them. I wasn't expecting to wear these with any sort of formal attire, but even with jeans I feel like they are meant for the under 20 crowd. All in all, I'd say that if you're looking for a nice travel shoe and are willing to shell out a few bucks to get the toebox stretched, then go for them.

I really love how these shoes look, but there is NO support of any variety in the sole. For those of you ladies who ever took ballet (and granted, for me it's been about 28 years), that's exactly what these soles are like. I enjoy "barefoot" shoes as long as there is *some* arch support, but these have none. It was a real shame because they are cute and the diagonal strap attaches in a way that makes them very easy on/off. As for sizing, I tend to be an 8.5 without socks and a 9 with socks. Since these are meant to be worn without socks, the 8.5 fit me perfectly. I would say to order your regular size.

I have a pair a pair of Merrell Barefoot Pace gloves in size 8 and absolutely love them. But, I wanted something a little dressier and decided to try the Barefoot Wonder Glove in a Size 8. Perhaps because the Wonder Glove does not have laces, they seemed slightly too big. And because of the asymmetric strap, they tended to rotate just a little bit to the side. I thought about trying a smaller size, but decided to try a different style because the Wonder Glove is also very narrow.

I'm really disappointed in this shoe (or maybe it's my foot). I thought they were sooo cute I had to have them - they arrived yesterday and when I tried them on they were very narrow. The side of my foot under the baby toe hung over the footbed. So disappointed, they're adorable.

1. I needed white shoes for an outdoor event. I was anticipating the silver, but the white parts are more "bone" or off-white than white. They would not work for my purpose. 2. I ordered the 8.5 and the 9 and neither fit. In Merrell, I'm a solid 8.5 shoes/9 sandals. Both of these were swimming on me. They fit more like an outline than a glove. 3. Really thought about keeping a pair, but I knew I wouldn't wear them because of the fit. 4. Style-wise, I realized I wanted something closer to a ballet flat than a Mary Jane. 5. Back they go. Thank you Zappos for helping me find the right shoes!

I had never tried the Barefoot brand before and wasn't sure what to expect. I loved the style - very cute and a little unusual. Looks dressier than I would have thought. But they feel just like wearing a shoe without the usual insole. Zero arch support of course, rather like wearing slippers. I could never wear them for more than very short hops. Also I found the toe box to be cut at a severe angle so that even though there is room at the end of my big toe, toes two and three are butting up against the end of the shoe. I went up half a size and had the same problem.

I only wear Merrell shoes. I loved the look of these when they arrived They seemed comfie walking on the carpet at home, but when I wore them outside onto concrete, I could feel every single stone, twig and bump in the road. After wearing them all day, I had a bruise on the bottom of my foot. I think I will wear them as slippers indoors only.

I have been looking for a pair of black flats that are both cute and comfortable. these shoes are very cute and felt comfortable when I put them on. However, halfway through my day my toes hurt badly and I could hardly walk. I am on my feet quite a bit at work. I think they run short. Maybe if I had ordered a size up they might be comfortable. I emailed Zappos with my problem and they agreed to let me return the shoes for a full refund as a courtesy. Wow! I will certainly do more ordering from Zappos. I am very disappointed though as I would love to have these shoes.
