Best Shoe Ever! I love these shoes. The arch is fabulous and the look is much more stylish than other "high-arch" comfort sandals. It took me about 3 days to break these in, but now, I can't stand to wear any other shoe. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. I just purchased 2 more pairs in black (Helen and Violette) and cannot wait to wear them. I have a lot of shoes in my closet, but am considering throwing them all out and only wearing these. I love these shoes!!!

It's a rave! This is the 4th pair of sandals that I have purchased. I love them and wear them constantly in the summer/spring/fall and yes even into winter (in the house).

Helen sandal - Great everyday sandal. I have narrow feet and this sandal works!

Can't miss with Mephisto - Excellent fit. Mephisto is the only shoe I wear. Always complete comfort and always an excellent product.

Mephisto: Helen sandal - I have worn (out) several pairs of Mephistos...and will always replace them. They wear well and comfortably. What more could I ask??

Rebecca - I bought a pair of these two years ago and continue to be impressed with their comfort, durability, and looks. I've worn them on two trips to Europe during which time they remained comfortable during lots of walking. I could wear them with both casual and dressier clothes and they therefore help keep packing to a minimum. Overall, I'd highly recommend Mephisto Helens!

The most comfortable shoe or sandal, hands down - I absolutely love this sandal. I look forward to spring and summer partly because I can wear my beloved Mephisto Helens. I own them in several colors. I think that the sizing is small by 1/2 size.

Mephisto Helen believer - This is the best shoe I've ever worn. I would rather wear a pair of Helen's than go barefoot. The contoured foot bed provides the best arch support I've ever found in a shoe, and the leather "post" between the toes is more comfortable by far than any others I've ever tried on. I own several colors, and use the black patent with dressier outfits.

Best sandal - I have about 8 pairs of Helen's. They have the best arch support for those of us who need to take the stress off our heels. My heel spur has not hurt in years. I use these sandals for casual and dressy....all year round!

2nd Pr of Helens As Great as the First - I wore my first pair of Mephisto Helens for about 4 years and though they are still the most comfortable shoe I own, they started to look a little ratty in nubuck. This time I picked a smooth leather finish that will be easier to clean and will probably still be wearing them 8 years from now. Love these shoes. They are a little stiff at first but loosen up quickly and become like your own feet.

The arch support is wonderful! These feel delightful on and under my feet! I have various troubles with my feet and am always in search of the perfect shoe. These have perfect arch support, are soft and were blister-free right out of the box. I bought the camel and like the color with jeans and with khakis.

Wonderful Shoes - These shoes are not only very comfortable they are very different in looks in a good way.

Not very sexy, but gets the job done in style - If you are looking for a supportive, sturdy, comfortable walking sandal that can take some abuse, look no further. I have high arches and wear orthotics in the winter and these are the only sandals I've found that I can both wear to walk my dog and go to the mall and not be in pain or feel like a total fashion loser. If they feel stiff at first, hang in there, they'll soften with only a few wearings. Order your normal sandal size and you should be fine.

Love it - My 1st Helen. Very comfy. My foot is slightly narrow, these fit perfect. Usually wear 8 1/2, the 9 is a perfect length also. Thanks again Zappos!

Helen the Great - I love these shoes. They are not beautiful but they are comfortable. I have a narrow foot so these work very well for me.

These shoes are very comfortable to wear and look great on the foot. I have narrow feet and narrow ankles and hesitate to wear a shoe like this with a skirt. They look great.

Helene Sandals- This is a wonderfully comfortable shoe. I have them in many colors and revisit the Zappos sight from time to time to look for any new colors that might be available.

Mephisto's Helen- These shoes come in wonderful colors and are so comfortable. Sandals with arch supports, an oxymoron! I have very narrow feet and can strap them down to fit, another reason I live in these all summer.

The Helen is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have 8 pairs in different colors.

Fantastic sandals - I love these sandals and wear them all the time in the summer. I like the black patent leather the best. Extremely comfortable!

I love this sandal!!! I now have 5 pairs of the Helen. I first bought a pair in a pricey shoe store 6 years ago. I walked all over France in them. These are the "shoes" I have with me all the time. I'm a teacher and I have years of constant standing. My arches are shot, my heels painful. The arch support is the saving grace. I feel like I'm getting a foot massage at the end of the day when I slip into them. If your feet hurt, you'll love them too! Plus they look great and are well made. My chiropractor told me that the cupped heel is also necessary for problem feet.

Mephisto Helen - My two daughters and I have been wearing the Helen sandal for the past ten years. We like the comfort and the style.
