I'm going to add to the almost 800 other reviews because I wanted to express my opinion about trying Mephisto sandals for the first time. I have had a lot of sandals in the past that didn't have a sling back and I was determined not to get another pair of shoes without heel support because either they were too heavy or they flip flopped when I walked and weren't comfortable. I just got these today and when I put them on my feet it was like they were molded to the shape of my foot. I can't comment on how they wear long term or on long distances but I instantly feel they are a very comfortable fit on my feet right now and I have the good feeling that they will only get more comfortable with wear. I love the color as it is very summerlike and I live in Florida. I'm going to look at my nail polish selection because I just might have the perfect lavender pearl color to compliment the shoes for my toe nails. I usually get a size 8 and since these are European sizes it is recommended to get a size larger which I did and I'm glad because they fit better.

I just purchased my 7th pair of what is, without question, the most comfortable shoe ever manufactured. The shoe last seems to have been made especially for my foot. My wide feet spill a little over the edges of the sandal, but not uncomfortably so. I've been wearing this model sandal for the last 12 years on a daily basis (it's my inside shoe while at home)and cannot imagine ever straying from it.

Combines classic style, comfort, and modern color in a winning combination! Sizing may depend on foot width. I went down a half-size. Wide feet may be true to size or even a size up.

Very comfortable sandals. And cute too. I get compliments on them all the time! I ordered goldens and they look very classy. I can wear them with so many outfits! I am thinking about buying some more colors for the summer.

Very firm arch support, great shoe for all day walking. I own 4 pair in different colors. Also great for people with heel issues.

Different Helen colors fit differently, which makes no sense to me, so be aware of that. I love this brand and have many, but it has turned out to be more frustrating than I expected. I bought all my others in France. Many I see now are made in Portugal. For ex., this color will be returned and feels very different than one I ordered in a different color. When I put one on one foot, one on another, I was even lopsided.

Received my sandals yesterday and I love them. I replaced a pair that I bought 7 years ago and they still feel the same and look great!

I went up in size and Zappos sent the Desert instead of the Navy I ordered. I went on Live Chat and the order was resolved. Within 2 days I received the right color and ordered my regular size 37. Perfect fit for my thin feet and ever so comfortable. I'd say they probably run a bit narrow for a B width. Thanks to Zappos for excellent prompt service!

This shoe was a gift for my mom on Mother's Day; she said she loved it. She said very comfortable and nice, wore all day for Easter and feet were great. I am completely satisfied with the purchase. Zappos is great. I love buying gifts from them for others and myself, great customer service.

I wear a size 8 shoe; the size 8 Helen was perfect. Very comfortable sandal; form and function in one great package.

I absolutely love these sandals! I bought a pair several years ago and wore them until I was embarrassed to be seen in public because they were so loved. I wanted another pair in the navy color I'd had previously, but wasn't able to find them anywhere. This year, Zappos carried them and I didn't hesitate to order. They are truly the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned!

I love these sandals!! They are really comfortable -- they almost feel like slippers! The strap is adjustable, which is great for my narrow feet. The footbed doesn't seem overly wide, either, which is great for me. I was a little worried about the gold color, but it's not super shiny; it's really a pretty color. I'm thinking about buying more of these in different colors. I think they'll be great for walking around in Italy next month!

I just love these shoes. I have had to break in the "between-the-toe" part of this shoe. Have received compliments each time I have worn these sandals. I have terrible foot problems and have a difficult time finding fashionable shoes that my foot can tolerate. Up to now, I've been wearing Birkenstock...these are just as well-fitting and possibly more comfortable.

My wife has worn this specific model for years and when they finally wear out she just gets another pair. Obviously loves the comfort.

Just like my old pair of Mephistos, these feel awesome! The material on top is soft and the arch support is excellent. I was so sad that they were a bit too narrow and a bit too short. I've ordered the next size up and am hoping for a perfect fit.

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They conform to your foot and are adjustable. I have two pair.

Although pricey, there is no doubt that these shoes are insanely comfortable, especially for someone who had had several different foot problems. They're more comfortable and a bit less clunky than either the Birkenstock or Naot versions. I think I'll be living in these shoes over the summer!

My first Mephisto purchase and I love them. Some break in time needed for the leather around the toes but very little. Foot bed is very comfortable. I wear them every day.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. It's like walking on a cloud. I normally wear an 8 1/2, but this sandal only came in full sizes; I bought an 8 and it was perfect.

This is my favorite sandal. I have others in different colors. It is very comfortable and true to size.

These shoes look great and are super comfortable. I did have a slight breaking in period, but then I started wearing them when walking 3 miles/day. I have a widish foot but they fit perfectly. I went by the European size, 38 in the US I'm a 7.
