This shoe fits me so well and is so comfortable, I feel like I am walking on air. It fits perfectly with no time needed to break it in. After 25 wearings, it has become my favorite casual shoe. I wear it anytime I am not wearing dress shoes to work. The styling is gorgeous. Looks like a classic upscale moccasin. My foot sweats a lot, but the shoe doesn't show any sweat stains and retains its shape even after consecutive days of hard wearing. I wore this shoe while timing at a swimming pool during a swim meet, and even the chlorine from water splashing did not stain the leather. There is no pinching at the ankle bone and my foot has conformed to the shoe. The heel is strong and does not breakdown, even when I slide my foot in repeatedly without a shoe horn. Absolutely the best moc I have ever bought and that includes mocs from the major competitors up in Maine and in Wisconsin!!!

After nearly 2 years I'm about to order my 2nd pair of the ASV gold series even thought the first pair still has some miles left on them. Two things I've done with my first pair that are worth sharing: I replaced the leather laces with the fabric laces and they no longer break or come untied; and, I replaced the doeskin liner with a gel insert to gain even more comfort for longer walks. Unquestionably the best looking and most comfortable casual shoe I've ever worn!

As usual, the Gold Cup hits the home run! Have been looking for a black deck shoe in Gold Cup! The style and comfort are great!

These shoes are so comfortable and styled that I wear them most of the time. Fact is I have three pairs currently the oldest pair I wear around the house and yard, the two newer pairs I switch off wearing. In my 75 years this is the best fitting shoe I have ever had and they are almost impossible to wear out.

First off, fits true to other Sperry sizing. I have been wearing nothing but Sperrys but the regular A/O's for the last (at least) 5 years. I finally was able to zoom in on a size 12W, which limited styling options. I would have never bought these if some of the other styles would have fit right. But I am SO GLAD they don't. I finally but the bullet and paid more for these, cause I love the style, but never was able to justify the cost before (I had a rum or three). So glad I did that. After work I came home to these, and as I slipped my bare foot in, my foot entered (foot) heaven. Soft, luxurious, perfect fit, stylish, classy, laid-back, confident, awesome.

Most comfortable boat shoe that I have ever worn. Be aware that the length of the toe box, from tie to tip, is long relative to distance from tie to heel. It's not a defect. Just a style thing.

I have worn Sperry boat shoes for a number of years and when they begin to wear out they become my yard shoes. When that happens I order a new pair but a bit higher cost then the last. This time I wanted to Best of the Best. I can say as I slipped them on I knew I had arrived. These are the best pair of shoes I now own, great comfort, excellent fit, terrific looks, simply, just Great! You truly get what you pay for. Thanks. DJW

This is my 2nd pair of this identical shoe. My 1st pair are about 15 years old, and are in still in excellent condition. I wear them a lot because I have nuropothy and the soft leather and the lining help my feet from constantly hurting me all day. I am going to order the same shoe in black. Nothing better for me than this shoe.

This is the 2nd pair of these shoes I have purchased. The first pair lasted three years of almost daily use. They look worn but are still holding together. These are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and I have been wearing shoes for over 60 years. Great product.

I have been wearing Sperry Topsiders for over 40 years, but no shoe during that time has been more comfortable than the Gold ASV 2. This is my second Gold pair. The craftsmanship is superb. Don't change a thing! You have a home run. One final note....I ordered my shoes through your customer service phone number. The shoes feel great, fit perfect and have a classy look. I love the way the shoe fits with the interior leather soft and supple. I recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a pair of boat shoes that have class.

Right from the very beginning these shoes were very very comfortable. No need to "break in" like you do with some shoes. No chaffing or blisters like some boat shoes on the first day of wear. These shoes are very well made, soft on the inside, durable and stylish on the outside. Worth every penny.

Well made. Lined throughout to give a very comfortable feel with no chafing that I have seen with lesser boat shoes.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS VERY STYLISH SHOE. I AM HARD TO FIT SO IT WAS VERY NICE TO BE ABLE TO FIND A SHOE THIS GOOD LOOKING IN MY SIZE. I AM GOING TO PURCHASE ANOTHER PAIR OF THE SAME SHOES IN A DIFFERENT COLOR. THE DELIVERY WAS PROMPT, THE WEB SITE WAS EASY TO NAVIGATE AND WELL LAID OUT.

I wore my first pair to the ground after FOUR years. They were my all-time favorite shoes, beautiful & practical. I got my second pair at Christmas 2011. After a year and a half my only issue has been with the eyelets that run along the side. They come off of the shoe from time to time and its an annoyance. I will buy another pair of these when my current pair retires but I hope they eyelet problem has been fixed.

I have been wearing the Ameretto for years and love the durability and comfort. Have tried the Cognac and find they are not quite as tuff but are a little more dressy. I am back to the Ameretto for my every day shoe. I usually rotate 3 pair for as I call them my goods, my bads and my uglies. Great shoe and the online service was a pleasant surprise. With a size 14 they are hard to find.
