Great shoes and great service from Zappos! Probably my 20th pair of Sperry Top-Siders but first pair of the top of the line. Big difference in added comfort and quality workmanship. Very happy for my choice and glad I spent the extra money.

I bought a pair of black ones at a sale price through Zappos and I have been waiting for a sale on the brown ones so that I could buy another pair. I have enjoyed my black pair in spite of the in sole curling up. However, I feel that the price is too much and the sale price I paid for my black ones was reasonable.

These shoes are very high quality like all Sperry shoes. The insoles have plenty of cushion and support. I own the loafer style and they have lasted 7 years and are still going strong.

I just love my Sperry Top-Sider Gold Boat shoes. I have two pair and just ordered a third pair so I now have all that are made in this style. I must say they are with out a doubt the best shoes for all around wear that I have ever owned. I am now retired and dress casual all the time. Do your self a favor if you read this review and buy yourself a pair, you will not be disappointed.

Last month I purchased two pair of different color Sperry Top-Sider Gold Boat shoes. I also purchased a single pair about one year ago. After pretty heavy use, the pair from last year ripped between the sole and the upper on one shoe. These are otherwise such nice and comfortable shoes that I am taking a chance again hoping that the defect does not occur again. I highly recommend both Zappos and the Sperry Gold Boat shoe.

Well made, comfortable shoe. A bit stiff at first, but breaks-in nicely. Great look.

These are great shoes - too bad Sperry discontinued them. Zappos service is second to none. Glad they had these in stock.

These are beautiful shoes. They run a half size to large if you are going to wear them without socks. The deer skin lining is a serious luxury, and significantly improves the comfort with out socks. May be too nice for boating. The gold islets have a particular look that you might either like or dislike...it might send a message "that you paid this much for boat shoes" so if you don't want to send that message then these might not be the shoes for you. I put the quality and feel of these shoes as world class, equal to or better than the finest shoes in the world.

This is a very attractive dress Sperry. I got these for my husband for our dressy, yet casual events. We both really like them.

I have two pairs of this shoe. I find them very comfortable. They are of excellent quality. I have had Mephistos boat shoe for years but like the Sperry shoes better.

High quality, very comfortable with great feeling of support! For me they work best without socks. Also a good looking boat shoe.

Great shoes. Well built with great support. Inside leather is so soft I wear barefoot all the time. These shoes are handsome and distinguished and will hold up to daily use.

I could not believe that boat shoes would be this expensive. I bought them anyway based on the description and the other reviews. These really are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are completely lined with deer skin leather, which is like butter, and the foot beds are memory foam. The whole shoe is beautifully constructed. It's a modernized, more comfortable, more supportive and better made version of the classic boat shoe but it doesn't lose the classic look I wanted.

I have purchased this shoe several times. They are high quality, very comfortable, and look great! They stand up well to almost daily wear. The eyelets started popping out of the leather after 2 months on my last pair, but Zappos replaced them immediately.

I bought these shoes for casual wear. Removing them from the box, they are visually pleasing. Putting them on you immediately feel the quality that makes these shoes as expensive as they are. The best part of this purchase for me though was the time these shoes have lasted. I bought mine in 2010, and to this day, Spring 2014, they are still my go to shoe. They have lasted incredibly well, and I wear them daily. The tread is still there, the finish is still the same and the insole has held up amazingly well. I wear these without socks most of the time and have no discomfort. This is the only boat shoe I have been able to do this with. I have worn this style since the '80s and these are by far the best. It's worth spending more for a shoe that feels and lasts as these do. If this is your first purchase from Zappos, you can expect first class customer service and quick delivery. Highly recommended!
