This jacket is great. Looks good and fits perfectly. I'm 6', 205 and the large fits great.

I use this jacket when I go out casual or it's fall weather

I use the coat for recreational use in the fall. It is perfect for fall temp but not warm enough for winter temps.

It was exactly what my son was looking for. Great quality.

I already own a similar North Face lightweight jacket that is several years old. It is a Summit Series Windstopper jacket and it has served me well especially in windy conditions. I purchased this jacket because I wanted a similar coat in color, as my older jacket is TNF black. This new jacket is well made and from a few outings with it seems to be wind resistant. My older jacket had a liner in it, and this new jacket does not. I kinda wish this jacket had a liner in it. But this jacket does have a good sized interior pocket that my older jacket does not have.

I wear this jacket daily!! When j have enough money I would love to buy one for every day of the week! It looks great and feels great while doing yoga, sitting in class, doing studies, reading, even shooting before practice!! It's light enough to have zero restrictions to my shot. So thank you North face.

Great product that is comfortable in various climates. I like the cuffs better than the straps that lose velcro 'stick' and then flap around.

The jacket is perfect for Texas weather. It's lightweight yet keeps you warm when needed and classy.

Bought as a gift since I had one but was give wrong size info and was too small. I'm answering about one I ordered. Recipient returned it for one that fit and was warmer.

Good for my work environment very warm

I bought this for my son in a men's L. He is 5'11" and 112lbs. It is lighter than I thought it would be, but he has room for a sweatshirt under. He does not like a heavy jacket, so this will probably work well for him. I like that it is wind and water proof.

Should come in XS.

This jacket is great for blocking the wind. I wish there was a way to zip in another layer so it could be worn year round.

For me this jacket is strictly for casual wear. I was a little surprised how lightweight/thin it was (especially the sleeves) compared to other soft shell jackets I own. Overall I really like its fit, comfort and feel.

Bought this for my husband. He loves the color and fits very well. He needed an in between seasons jacket and this fits the bill.

I decided to get this jacket for boyfriend for his birthday but the medium ended up being a little too snug for him. I do really like the jacket and I will be returning the jacket for a bigger size.

I bought this jacket to replace another spring/fall jacket that was falling apart. This jacket has a great look and is very comfortable. The light snow and rain that we have here in Michigan in late winter/early spring just falls right off the jacket. It does not provide a great deal of warmth, but does keep the wind out. I usually use this when it is 40 degrees or above.

Overall a good valued buy that is good for chilly winter days to brisk autumn nights or nippy sprig days. Good for protection from the wind, but make sure to wear a hat as there is no hood.

I am 5'5" (or so) and 155 pounds. So I am not too thin and I bought the small. It does fit well but very slightly tight around the arm pits as I am a bit more broad. But even wearing a sweater the jacket is still comfortable. It hugs the body nicely. Like everyone else said, under 40° and you would need a thick sweater underneath to keep you warm. But it is a great jacket up until the coldest weather (I live in New York City so I have all four seasons, so this is definitely not a winter coat). The only thing that I do not like is that the pockets are mesh on the inside of the jacket so when it is windy and chilly, the pockets do not keep your hands that warm but it is better than nothing (that is why I give it four stars). I still love the jacket. Oh and it is good for athletics and keeps the rain/wind at bay. And the black jacket looks good in business attire.

Great jacket fits perfect and perfect for the weather where I live thanks

This is a fairly basic shell that is decently weatherproof. The sleeves end in an elastic cuff which might be nicer if it were gusseted. The fit runs a little large so I was able to squeeze myself comfortably into a large and still have room for some layers and you'll need layers. Anything under about 40 degrees this jacket is too light for.

I'm 5' 5", 148lbs with a moderately muscular build and ordered a size small. The length was fine, but the fit in the upper torso was tight to the point of being constricting. Otherwise would have been a fine jacket.

This is a very causal piece. If, YOU want that I am an explorer, professional look. Go for it. Otherwise, we are at the higher end of the spectrum of TNF soft-shell jackets. Just hope that they improve this jacket for going beyond the store to pick up college girls. The construction is solid; however, Its panels are not standard. It appears that this was an awesome design, that just got tore-up by management and tossed down as Mr. Casual Explorer. I personally would right is off as an original idea spun off the canyonland jacket or another brand. Great stitching, just needs to go further. Be seeing the New 2018 line-up. Hope, TNF doesn't flush this review as last time.

I ordered the green size S, and the grey size S, the green one was perfect and the grey one was very big despite says S.... looks like M at least...!!!! I am dissapointed
