These shoes are pretty comfortable overall. My major complaints are about the build quality. For some reason one of the shoes has laces that are like 8" longer than the other. I also seem to get heel pains in one shoe (not blisters, though) which I find to be an odd problem since it has never happened before. The sole has a good grip and is not noisy when walking on slick surfaces. I would recommend them.

I wear a 9.5, a 9 in these was plenty large with socks. I wear them as my summer weight motorcycle boots. Comfortable from the first day. Good value. Fabric does stretch. I have a wide foot.

I wasn't used to wearing high tops before I got these boots, so it took a few days to break them in and get used to the feel. Super comfortable after that.

I bought this shoe based on the reviews I had read. I went ahead and ordered the size 9 which is the size I generally wear with socks. When they arrived and I opened the box, I loved the look! Then when I tried them on , I was SO happy! These shoes/boots are so comfortable, right out of the box! I forget that I am wearing them and that says a lot....I work part-time as a landscaper, so I am on my feet a lot. The only thing I would offer is that you may need to buy an insole with an arch. These really have no arch support, but there is room for them! Go ahead and order these with confidence, they are so cute, you'll want to wear them everywhere, I need more in other colors!

I love these shoes. They take a beating and still last forever. I wear these eight hours a day, 5 days a week and they have not faded, started to wear at any seams nor have they become less comfortable. They are a great light pair of boots to work or just kick around in. In addition, I don't go a day without people asking where I got them.

Keep the top eyelets loosely tied, and this is one of the most comfortable canvas boots out there: light, flexible, but supportive enough to work a full day on your feet. I experienced significant chafing around the upper ankle during the break-in period, but I am glad that I toughed it out. These are a daily staple now and otherwise incredibly comfy.

It's a really cute sneaker with the sole of a low profile hiking boot. I wear them for everyday casual wear. They are very comfortable considering that they have no arch support. I use arch inserts and they fit right in without making the shoe feel tight. They feel true to size, size 9, and true to width, maybe a smidge wider then average which works out for me.

These boots were perfect out of the box...no break-in time necessary. The green was bit brighter than I expected, but I love them nonetheless. I have wide, flat feet & wear a 9.

I've never worn high tops before in fear that I would look like a clown (being tall and thin) but I bought them on a whim for the transition from winter to spring. As soon as I put them on, I thought "wow I never want to take these off!". Very comfy, super cute, and very good quality. Took a hike or two to wear them in, but did not kill my feet in the process. I get lots of compliments on my "sneaker-boots", And I'm glad to not look like everyone else wearing Chucks.

I love these! They're sort of a cross between a combat boot or Doc Martens and a Converse sneaker. I had been considering the Converse monochromes in black, but these are more interesting and less hipster-iss, and they provide (slightly) more cushion in the sole. I think they'll look good with skinny jeans, and even shorts or a mini skirt. On a hunch, I ordered a 7.5 even though I typically wear an 8 in boots, and they fit perfectly with thin-to-medium socks.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped but maybe with some good breaking in that will change. I love the look of the shoe...just wish it was more instantly wearable. My feet hurt! If I could return them, I would.

Believe it or not these shoes look really hot! Black jeans and these boots are perfect for a trip to the mall, dinner or a movie or taking a hike in the country. The Pampa Hi by Palladium is my favorite shoe for this season I own them in 3 colors.

These shoes are so comfortable. Truly worth every penny spent. Well made and very cool, they are perfect for walking LA streets!

I had to return these, they had a rip on the seam of one of the shoes and evidence of glue on the canvas where the rubber met it at the toe. They are a great design but really poorly made and crappy. Overall, a heartbreaking experience since I loved the look, need ankle support in a shoe, and I have had Palladiums before and loved them to death. Argh!!!

Great shoes for just walking around in. They don't have the support of a true walking shoe, but do have a bit more funk.

These high tops are so cute! I wore them the first time with a skirt...just funky enough for a mature professional woman on a day off. They rubbed my ankles a little at first because I wasn't used to wearing high tops but they were soft and needed no breaking in otherwise. Although I wouldn't recommend them for real hiking, as suggested in another review, they are really comfortable.

Other than the top around the ankles is a bit stff, I found these comfortable immediately. I cannot wear converse because there is no support. These are great.

I've had my Palladium boots (second pair now) for 9 years. I love them. Have worn them winter and summer and are perfect and comfortable. These are my go-to hiking boots and outdoor shoes. I could not wish for a better boot. Have trekked through Europe with them and am now using the same pair in Oregon.

Pretty darn good shoe. My feet are pretty much normal width, except for the widest part of my foot (from the first knuckle of the big toe to the first knuckle of the pinky toe), which is a bit wider than average. This makes finding shoes that fit a real nuisance, as normal width shoes tend to pinch at the widest part of my foot, but wide width shoes won't stay on my feet. With these shoes, the first couple of weeks I wore them I was having the pinching issue again, but now that I've broken them in, they seem to have adjusted to my size and are more comfortable than the Converse I had been wearing. They are a bit clunky, but they are graciously lightweight for how tough they look. Definitely recommend this shoe if you're not really into sneakers but don't want a heavy pair of boots. Order half a size down! I'm almost always a 9 1/2, but with these I had to return them for a 9, and I still have plenty of room in the toe.

Super cute shoes/boot, looked exactly as pictured. Unfortunately I have large feet, size 10, and these shoes made me feel like I had big boats on my feet. The white toe really emphasized them and just didn't look right. Love Zappos.com though!

I have a pair of the Pampa Hi in the Otan/Army Green, and they are great shoes. They required no break-in time at all, and turned out to have much better cushioning and arch support than I expected from such a reasonably-priced shoe. My only quibble is that I wish the toe shape was slightly more rounded, but that's a personal preference. I get frequent compliments when I wear these boots, so clearly the styling is attractive. I'd recommend that anyone purchase a pair of Palladium boots.

I love it when I order shoes online and the 100% fit right out of the box. These boots look extremely cool, are very comfortable. I bought them in size 10 M and in the color Boue, which looks exactly as the picture. I'm certain that these boots will be my new favorite shoes!

These shoes are very nice and I appreciate them for the sturdy feeling they give me. They're similar to converse in the way that arch support is only mildly present, but I purchased a pair of ten dollar insoles and all is well with these shoes now. If you don't lace them up all the way they're relatively easy to slide on and off but still stay put when you need them to. Like others have said, they need some time to break them in - but after a week or two they're just fine. They also seem to be rather durable. These are probably one of my favorite pair of sneakers/boots I've ever owned.

Good shoes; pretty comfortable, though they do lack arch support. I bought a pair of gel insoles for added comfort.
