I wanted to love them but they were way too narrow. I could not actually assess the feel of the shoe as I did not try to shove my feet into them. I would have felt like Cinderella's step-sister. I'm usually a size 9 W and can sometimes wear a B width. I read the reviews of others and it seemed like they were generally favorable as to fit. I knew once I looked at them out of the box that they would be too narrow. Sadly, they must go back.

I ordered this in the 40 (marked as L'Artiste's size 9) as I normally take an 8 1/2 or 9 American, and a 40 for a closed toe Euro sized shoe. The Burbank was tight all the way around my forefoot (kind of like if I'd put an elastic sock on), while my heel came out of the back of the shoe when I walked. The styling is really cute, and the leather is nice, but unfortunately, the sizing was completely off. They were retuned.

I love these shoes; however, cannot seem to get the right fit. I am finding this maker of Spring Step is not consistent in sizing. I ordered an 8 1/2 and it was too just a little to small. So I ordered a size 9 and these were smaller than the previous.

I wanted to love these shoes because they are comfortable, but they squeak loudly with each step. Most annoying! I will keep searching for the perfect shoe.

I really, really wanted these shoes. Taking previous reviewers comments into consideration, I ordered a 1/2 size larger. I couldn't even get my foot inside. So I returned them, and got a full size larger. This time I could get my foot in, but the shoe was way too big. The problem appears to be a design flaw, in which the elastic around the opening is too high. This makes the opening too narrow to get your foot into. So disappointing, because the shoe super cute. Unfortunately, they just aren't for my feet. Buyer beware - and be prepared to try multiple sizes.

Cute but a size or more smaller. I were an 8.5-9 so ordered a 9 and could not get my foot in them...
