This item looks more blue online. When they arrived they are must more teal in color. Really cute but not a color I would wear on a regular basis. Will exchange for black.

I purchased a size up (am usually 7 but got the 71/2-8 and it was still too small but i am ordering a size up hoping they fit becauese they are so cute!

About my feet: I wear a 9-9.5 (40-41) shoe and sometimes a 10 (42) in boots for thick socks. I like room for my toes, have a medium-wide foot with a slightly narrow heel, have a high instep, moderate-high arch, tend to under-pronate (step down on outside edge of feet) and have hallux limitus (intense pain in the joint behind big toe). Alegria "Chico-CA" size "42 / 10.5-11 US" color "Camel" pros: gorgeous color and design; roomy toe box; cushioned footbed; good rocker sole (no hallux limitus big toe pain!) cons: foot bed NOT removable like other Alegrias; not enough arch support; runs .5 size small -- I don't take a 42/10.5- 11 to wear with a thin sock only; left shoe ran a little looser than right (checked inside--they were both 42) ; did NOT come with cute Alegria clog keychain fob (don't know if it eve did or if last try-er swiped it ;-p) I don't think adding an arch support--since the insile doesn't come out--will make this comfortable support for me. I am truly sad the fit for me was not as fab as the caramel color and beautiful leather and design. (would be great if you don't have aas high an arch as I do.) Returning. :-(

I do like these clogs; they are cute, but uncomfortable after a full day's work. I do not think that I could go without socks the tops of my toes feel slightly raw like they are being rubbed.

I wear a size 8. I ordered the 40. Good fit, length wise. Heel rests at the end of the shoe, and I never felt a more comfortable foot bed! Also, the toe box is wide enough for a foot that's widened over the years. BUT, the instep gaped. I have flat feet and can no longer hold a backless shoe on unless it is tight enough. So it kicked off as I walked. So sad to return. Really, really comfortable.

Delicious footbed. I have been ordering size 39 or 40, depending on the brand. With SpringStep, I had ordered sandals over last summer! But who doesn't love the style? So I have been obsessively searching for comfortable fabulous shoes for the winter. These looked interesting, so I ordered. The footbed is so cushy. However, they may be too loose. I also ordered the closed-heel version. Those are too tight on my instep and a bit tight to get into. They will be returned for sure.

I primarily wear Danskos, followed by Birkis, and recently Allegria. This is my first Spring Step and I really like the style of this clog. It runs a bit closer to the foot than my Danskos, very attractive style, and comfortable. However, the unfinished leather on the inside of the upper makes it difficult wear with socks. The insole is very cushiony, but squeaks loudly when walking, so they will have to go back. As much as I'd like to try Spring Step again for the innovative designs, I'm more likely to buy Danskos.

These were not navy blue, as expected, but more of a teal color. They are really cute and quite comfortable, although they definitely feel a bit different from my other clogs (Merrell, Dansko) -- a wee bit less secure on the foot. I'm typically a 9 narrow; size 40 was right on target (wearing socks).

Shoe is super cute but too short for me and not enough motion control (my foot roll in). Probably fine for an average foot just order a size up. I'm sorry to have to return these.

Unbelievably comfortable! The cushion could hold me all day. Super cute. The only problem: they absolutely run one full size small. Although many already said this in their reviews, I thought that the US sizing was taking that into account by stating the 41 was a 9.5-10...it is one full size small and they don't have the 42. Bummer!

Very comfortable and cute. True to size, but color was closer to green. I was expecting more of a navy but it is a light aquamarine. I chose to keep them anyway, but disappointed with the color.

Why did I not listen to all of you gals who said order a size up? These are really cute shoes but I will be exchanging them for a size larger. They look so adorable and feel like good quality shoes!

I love this shoe! So flattering on. Previous reviews right about running small. I had to return because color is a blue-green. I needed a true dark blue.

Attractive shoe. Upturn on toe very firm. Would have kept it anyway but it was narrow. Bought my usual size but it only fit without socks.

Obviously one cannot rely on reviews to figure out which size to order in this shoe: lots of reviews state that the shoe runs small and others state that it is great for wide feet. I wear a size 8.5 or 9 and my foot tends to run a bit narrow. Formal narrow sizes are too narrow for my foot but I find that many styles in a med. width are too wide. I cannot wear Danskos at all - they are so wide on me that I step right out of them. Having said that, the size 9 in this shoe fits me perfectly. I suspect that the elastic across the instep makes it fit various widths nicely. Very cushiony. Super cute. The camel color is pretty true to the online picture: orangey-tan. Looks great with my fall and winter wardrobe. One shoe squeaks but I'm hoping that will stop.

I wish these were wider. Otherwise they are soft and very cute. My bunion needs lots of room though, so sadly, they are going back.

Cute shoes. The blue is pretty but much more navy in person - does not appear at all to be teal, which was the color I expected from the photos.

These shoes are sooo darn cute…..but I was sorely disappointed when I put them on. They felt like a whole size smaller than normal and had an odd squeak when I walk. I’ve owned a few Spring Steps that I loved, but I couldn’t justify keeping these for the price they cost.

Beautiful shoes, but too small. I usually wear 7-7.5, so in European sizing, a 38 usually fits with room to spare. With these, my heel was sitting just past the back edge. Note, the upper was also too shallow and stiff for my annoying little hammer toe. It definitely would have rubbed that toe raw. Wish they would’ve worked, but have to return

The suede foot bed prevented a good fit and feel while wearing socks. You can't slide your foot all the way in.

Love the looks of Spring Step's L'Artiste Chino but there is something amiss with the padding beneath the ball of my foot. At times it felt as if that part of my foot came into contact with something hard. I've examined, as best I can, the padding there and cannot determine what is wrong. Wondering if there is an air cushion in use that gets displaced in those moments. If I could see a way to replace the insole, I would definitely keep these shoes, but I don't see a solution. I love the lower heels and was hoping to replace my Sanita professionals with these.

The shoe is darling, but was definitely smaller compared to the other pair of shoes I ordered at the same time. I also ordered this shoe in the color blue and it is plainly a shade of green. Green isn't offered as a choice, so I'm guessing the manufactures chose to call this green shoe with slight blue undertones a blue shoe rather than a green shoe.

It is a very attractive shoe. However, it feels stiff and uncomfortable. They would likely soften with wear, but my feet cannot handle the break in time. Also it is a bit smaller & narrower than expected. Regretfully, I am returning.

I thought these shoes were adorable so was disappointed that they are a fairly bright green, not at all blue as advertised & seen in the online photo. Also could not get my high instep foot into them, though I had ordered up a size to accommodate that. Sadly returning.

Really cute shoe. However, the cut was all wrong for my feet. There really isn’t much padding and the leather immediately cut into the upper arch. Darn it ... they had to go back. (The turquoise color is fantastic!)
