I shopped long and hard for white jeans. These have that great, classic Levi's fit. I just wish they came in LONG, too.

I was really astounded to find out that "Darkest Ace" is not black, but navy blue. I wish they made black ones. I wish they didn't use deceptive names to describe the color. Otherwise, I really like the jeans.

Perfect fit. Snug in the write placed, looser in the others. Best fitting pair of jeans I have owned, I think, ever. Purchase, you won't be sorry.

Best fitting Levi's I have seen in a while, reminds me of what I used to wear as a teen. Purchased my first pair at Kohl's, went back for another pair, none in my size. Went one size up for comfort, size 6 fits, but I felt they were too tight on me, purchased size 8, little loose in legs, but they feel better for me on. Came to Zappo's and purchased two more pairs since they were the same price. Medium length a little too long, bunches at knees, went with short, stop right at the top of my foot. Will stretch out after working in the garden all day long, but pop back to shape after washing. Love these jeans, finally Levi's came up with something that fits a woman over 50....

These fit great! I am 5'4", 112 lbs., 27-in. waist, 35-in. hips and the size 4-medium fits perfectly. (I have them in size 6 too, for when I want them to fit slightly looser.) These are not too high, not too low, not too loose and not too tight. Just right!

These jeans are the best! The waist is so comfortable -it hugs my body without cinching into it. Fabric is outstanding. I have a pair of these in white, light blue, black and dark blue. The light blue seems to be the most comfortable and forgiving of an older woman's body - but all are comfortable to wear.

Perfect is the correct description. I was worried about the "control panel" tummy and perfect waist band, the item description made it sound like we would be wearing a girdle but they are perfect. The waistband is super soft. No need for a belt, these are roomy and comfy. I ordered another in dark blue. Cheers.

These are very stylish and more than very comfortable. These jeans look like skinny 501s but feel like sweats.

With the exception of the old Levi's material these are the best Levi's that I have been able to purchase so far. I do miss the old heavier, studier material that you can still find men's Levi's made of.

Very comfortable jeans and the fit around the waist is great. 32" is too long for me and it was unfortunate that I could not order them in short. But I live with it, it's not like they are reaching the ground. I just prefer the pants to be around 30" in length.

I bought these jeans (525) a few years ago and was so sorry when I couldn't find them anymore. Then lo and behold Zappos had them and on sale too. I am 5' 5",125lbs and bought a size 6. They fit below waist but not too low. I would recommend them.

The 525 Perfect Waist jeans are the only Levis that fit my body type! They are comfortable; flattering for grown women with curves; waist does not gap and the thighs are not too tight. Back in the 90's when Levis were still being made in N. America they had a program called Perfect Spin, which was awesome. When they pulled out of USA & Canada - I was left with no options for jeans. The Perfect Waist 525 is the only jeans this 49 year old; 5'-4" 135 lb., woman can wear. I do however miss the option that Levis discontinued on this line that offered 3 lengths: short, medium & tall. Now it's only available in Medium, which is too long for me and wish Levis would reconsider; but doubtful as they have since come out with the Curve ID line of jeans - which fit hideously. The Perfect Waist jeans are excellent!

Exactly what I was looking for. These days so many of the jeans are boot cut and I like a straight leg. They fit pretty true to size. Zappos makes it so easy. Fast delivery and free shipping and returns if necessary.

I like the fit of these jeans though I can't quite zip them yet. :-). I bought them because I am losing weight and wanted them for the summer. They are nice and light. The straight legs are ideal for a sassy senior like me. I am usually a woman's size but had these come in size 18 regular (16 is the largest), I would have had a perfect, zipped fit. 4 stars for comfort because of me, not the jeans.

Nobody does it better than ZAPPOS! The service is excellent. Unfortunately, this style seems to have been redesigned since I last purchased a pair. They now have a wider leg and a higher waist. I will keep them but 525 will no longer be my go-to jeans.

I ordered these jeans in size 8 (my usual size) and size 10 after reading the reviews. The size 8 fit okay but I believe they would have been too tight after washing. The size 10 fit nicely but was way too long. The label stated the inseam was 30". I measured it and it's 32". The pockets are too shallow as well. I would have preferred these classic jeans to be in denim without the stretch fabric. Although I don't like stretch clothing, I would have kept the size 10 if the length was as stated. I am not going to alter jeans that aren't absolutely to my liking.

Love 525's in Sky Blue although sized up from my usual 4 to a 6, but that's Levi's sizing. I grew up a jeans-girl and the rise on 525's is flattering without being Mom Jeans, especially for petites, with the waist-hip cutline great for women. My gripe is the Black Ink color has flapped back pockets. It may be trendy & all, but why are the back pockets different in black from the other colors? Won't be getting 525s in black, and continue my search for good black jeans for Women. Levi Strauss Co. made straight leg jeans in black that fit women in the '70s & '80s and my husband can always find his same old favorite Levi's, but we girls have to put up with trendy changes in their products every year. Poop.

Cute! A bit small for my usual size, I had to reorder up to I size I don't usually wear. (I ordered another brand at the same time which was fine in my usual size so it wasn't me!) I would say they are not as comfy as some of the pricier brands but worth the price.

For me, these were a bit too full in the hip/thigh. The Levi's 512's fit me better. But why oh why does Levi's have to mess with the pocket design? What's wrong with the classic arcuate?

This is more like a pair of jeans for winter. In the summer you usually do not wear such think jeans. Otherwise they fit nicely. By the way, the same jeans can be bought at Kohls for much less.

Thought I had found the perfect jeans when I first tried these on! The Sky Blue is a nice light evenly colored super soft denim. The waist is lined with a great dark blue "bandana print" fabric and the rise & length were just perfect! They look & feel soft & lived in...like your favorite pair of go to jeans. So I put them on & wore them that day to do a few errands. As the hours ticked away they got bigger and bigger! By the time I got home, I could take them off without even unzipping them. So disappointed that they stretched out that bad!

I can't figure out exactly what happened with this Jean in "sapphire." I ordered 2 pair of the exact same Jeans. The "Sky" fits just as you would expect and the "sapphire" although labeled the same (size 12), is ridiculously small - so small they look like a pair of kids pants. I laid them on top of one another and laughed out loud. Unfortunately since I was looking forward to the darker wash.

These jeans run very small. Normally I have an 8 waist and 6 bottom, so order an 8. These were much too tight in the waist and a little tight in the legs too.

These jeans fit differently, and better, than other Levis I've bought recently. Levis seems to have been on a gap-waisted, too-short, super-stretch kick lately. These jeans have enough stretch to get into them, but then they don't keep stretching for the rest of the day. They're long enough that it doesn't look like I just went through a growth spurt. And they actually follow the curves of my hips, butt, and waist. I don't need a belt to gather all the extra fabric at the waist, which I usually have to do with jeans.

I got these in the 14(32) Sky Blue with Medium inseam. They have a not very if at all stretchy waist. It has a blue bandana in there. It seems ok, but if you eat and plan on sitting, it is not always forgiving. That is why I gave the comfort 4 stars. The waist can bind. The waist goes pretty high, but are not high waisted up to the belly button like others I have tried on. The color is perfect jeans color and look slightly worn in. They really made the rear view look amazing and if you don't have too much extra in the stomach, they will cover it nicely unlike some low waisted jeans. My husband pointed out that he didn't much care for right above the behind how the jeans are there. He thought that part looked funny, but I just cover it with a shirt anyways. The inseam of the medium is just long enough for my 5'5" curvy/pear frame. The price is good and they seem to have more jean material than similarly priced ones from Target.
