I like everything about this blender--easy to use, clean, and store. Fits nicely under my kitchen cabinets.

I love it. I have a tasty, smooth green shake every morning thanks to my blender! And I love the sunshine of my yellow blender. Washes up well and I appreciate the drain holes in the base so it dries properly in the dishwasher.

Amazing blender. Solid and well built, plenty of power and easy to clean design. I know people have complained about the pitcher being too light and bouncing. I fill it up and I have no problem or you can order the smaller model with the short pitcher. No point in having the large one if you don't intend on using it. Great product, I use it throughout the week. I only gave it a 4 because there is always room to improve. Enjoy.

Good blender. Not perfect. I come from the school of thought that any appliance should pretty much last forever. [Par example: I'm not buying a blender to work for two years; I'm buying it to last as long as I need/want a blender.] That said, if you want this blender to last for a long time: Washing it in the dishwasher is fine -- necessary actually as the blade assembly is not dis-assemble-able -- but, do not leave it in the dishwasher during the drying cycle. The heat of the drying cycle weakens the seal (and dries out the o-ring) between the pitcher and the blade assembly. If this seal fails, the pitcher will then leak. You would then have to buy a whole new pitcher from KitchenAid customer service [And, you would also have an enormous piece of un-repairable, un-useable, and apparently un-recyclable plastic, i.e., the failed pitcher at hand.] Short warranty, only one-year. And, KitchenAid customer service is either really good or really not. Here's a challenge to KitchenAid: Have only ten-year warranties on everything you make! Regarding another reviewer's comment regarding crushing ice, I do not agree that this is even relatively quiet; what blender is?

This blender works great until it starts leaking on you. After daily use making breakfast smoothies for a week, the bottom started leaking. I was able to tighten it but that did not last. It kept leaking everywhere. What a bummer.

Best blender I've ever had. I love to make smoothies and this does a great job, better than the others I've used. One main reason I purchased this one was it claimed it crushes ice, it does to perfection. Also the one piece pitcher is so easy to use and clean.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have used this blender to make soups, dips and smoothies and all have been wonderful. The blender is sturdy, fast, and large (volume wise). It is easily more efficient than my previous blender. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it.

This blender is easy to use, easy to clean and works great. Blending soups is a breeze. Also, I make my own flour mixes and this pulverizes grains and nuts beautifully. And it grates cheese! Five stars all around.

I use this blender almost every day, sometimes more than once a day! I've used it to make smoothies, nut butters, soups, waffle batter, hummus, veggie burgers... basically anything that needs to be blended is thrown into here. I don't have a food processor and with this blender I don't really see a need for it. I'm always finding new things to make in it and it never lets me down! It's easy to clean and doesn't take up a whole lot of room. I've had it about a year with no problems. I recommend it to everyone when they bring up blenders!

Great blender, solid construction, easy to clean. I use it almost every day to make smoothies. Cheaper blenders usually leak after a short while. This one is going strong.

This is blender is amazing. I did a lot of research before purchasing and I couldn't be more satisfied. It blends my daily smoothies, chock full of fruit and ice, within seconds. It's also the most quiet blender that I've owned. Love it!

This is a superior blender. I fill it every morning and I chop very little and it gives me no trouble. I was willing to spend 3x as much, and I researched all the blenders and took a chance on this one. Glad I did. Could not be happier.

Bought this as a gift. She loves it. She makes fruit smoothies every morning. It is still working flawlessly. It is definitely loud, but it is much faster at blending frozen fruit than less powerful blenders.

Works great. I had the pink Kitchen Aid with the glass jar and they no longer make it. I bought this one and it is actually better with new improvements.

I just received my new blender and I'm delighted with it. I had an older Kitchenaid blender before with a glass jar that was accidentally broken. I didn't know whether or not I'd like a plastic jar but the one on this new blender is great. The shape of this one is a bit different and seems to have a larger capacity than my old one. We primarily use our blender for fruit smoothies every morning. This new blender does such an outstanding job of blending everything quickly and thoroughly -- it's so much better than the old one. Cleaning is much easier, too. I love this blender!

Awesome. Replaced the one we got for our wedding 20 years ago. Very heavy duty (it's quite a bit heavier than a normal blender). Seems to be very well built. Easy to use, easy to clean.

This blender chews up frozen fruit and ice for a smoothie in no time flat. It is easy to clean inside and out in a few swishes of the sponge. It is the 2009 best-rated blender of Cook's Illustrated, but it lost to another model in 2012 because people didn't find the plastic pitcher durable under heavy use. I am very happy with it so far!

This is a really great blender. Was looking for one that would really crush ice to make smoothies. This is the best one I have ever had!

Received the ordered blender in four days! Love it - it is powerful and pretty. I use it primarily for green smoothies and it emulsifies even the toughest greens. I am very happy with this purchase, from prompt shipping to ease of use and cleaning to value. Have recommended it to others.

I have never written a review before, but I absolutely love my Kitchen Aid blender! I never knew that paying a little more would make such a big difference. I especially like having it all one piece; not having to take the blades off and wash separately. This blender makes "ice cream" (frozen fruit blended with a little milk) in a snap. It is not nearly as loud as my older blender, and it is so solid and easy to clean. Buy this blender!

Works well so far. Making some great smoothies! The mixture sometimes gets stuck above the blades if you don't have enough liquid but you can use a spoon or chop stick to "burp" the mixture to fall back down to the blade area. Better to do this than try to rock the pitcher back and forth to get it to go down. This may be why some people eventually have problems with the pitcher eventually leaking. Crushes ice really well!
