I absolutely love these boots! They are made from soft leather, and very comfortable. They run true to size. I am small and petite and I did not need to adjust the straps at all! They look great with pants, shorts, and skirts.

I love this pair of boots! I was really happy when I opened the box; they are amazing. Sadly they fit me just right; I need them a half size bigger because I will be using them in the winter time. The website does not have them right now but I hope they do soon!

These boots are amazing! They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever put on my feet! I absolutely love them! They are very soft and not tight around the leg, may feel loose and sloppy to some, but the strap can be tightened, or even extra holes poked in to tighten more. Arch support is moderate to good. They are a bit too tight in the width to add a full foot orthodic but could add a heel support if needed. I wear these with denim shorts or a short skirt and they look fabulous. Can wear with jeans too, etc. Zappos customer service is excellent also!

These boots look nice in the picture, but require some "editing" upon arrival. They are really loose around the calf, and even after additional holes are punched the tongue still folds forward. They work best with jeans to fill in the extra space. I added insoles for comfort which is necessary. They look adorable, but honestly I would recommend saving your money for the next shoe you fall in love with.

These are officially my new favorite shoes! I love them. Before I even opened the box I could smell the leather. Which is great quality. People complain about the straps being too long but I haven't had an issue with that. I just buckled it in the last available hole and it works just fine. I do have to agree that some of the holes are hard to get the buckle into. Like they look like there's a hole but it doesn't go all the way through. Honestly it doesn't bother me. If I need to use any of them Ill just punch through it with one of my husbands tools. When I first put these shoes on I was afraid I would have to return because they felt a little tight. I wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5. Could definitely wear a 9 in these shoes but I found with wearing them a few times that they stretched just enough that they feel comfortable. Worst case scenario if they feel a little tight you can take them to a cobbler and they can stretch them for you for a few bucks. Overall these boots are great! Next winter I will be living in them. :)

I am a size 8. After reading the previous reviews I thought I would go a half size or a size up. 8.5 or 9 were not available in black so I took a chance and got the brown in 8. They were a little snug on the top of my feet, but after walking around in them they were fine. When putting them on they felt a bit tight-can't wear thick socks with them, but I don't mind. I think the 8.5 or 9 would be a little too big so I'm glad I went with the 8. They look great with leggings or jeans. They smell oh so great... I hope an 8 in black gets restocked soon!

I usually wear a 7.5 if it's available, sometimes 8. I ordered the 7.5 and it was a bit too snug so I got the 8 and love them. I was afraid my heel would slip up when I walk but they're totally comfy and I'm comfortable riding my motorcycle in them. Sweet boots.

I really love these boots. The leather is soft, the style is fashionably sloppy and undone. There's no zippers to ruin the look...they just slip on and off. They're lightweight, so you can wear them all day without your feet getting tired. Unfortunately - and you knew there was an "unfortunately" coming - like all Steve Madden boots, there is absolutely no insole padding or cushion. Basically your foot is resting on the hard, unforgiving insole hour after hour. By 2pm my dogs were barkin'. Luckily, SM boots run a bit large...I ordered a 10 and could probably get by with a 9-1/2. So by adding a pair of cushy insoles, I'm killing 2 birds with one comfortable stone: I get the cushioning I need and the boot fits perfectly. Love these boots - did I say that already? - and would love it if they came in charcoal or something.

I have been eyeing these boots for quite some time and made sure my honey got them for me for my birthday. Love them! They are insanely comfortable. I can go from riding my motorcycle straight to working 10-12 hour days standing up in a retail pharmacy. I read the reviews about people getting it a 1/2 a size to a full size larger and that was a huge mistake. I'm normally an 8.5 and have somewhat wide feet. I got the 9 based on the reviews and had to return it for the 8.5. The quality lives up to the standards of all Steve Madden shoes and I think it's a great buy.

Love these boots. I am a size 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly. First night I owned them I wore them out on the town and walked miles in them. No blisters or rubbing, did not even have to break them in. I want a pair in every color.

So disappointed in the sizing! What is the deal with Steve Madden? I have now ordered this boot three times from two different sites, only to find each one wrong in some way. I usually wear an 8, but reviews told me to size up. 9.5 was too big. From another site I order an 8.5 and it fit perfectly but the boot was defective (one of the straps was four inches longer than the other boot's). So I ordered the 8.5 from Zappos, but this 8.5 fits more like a 7.5! What is going on? Why isn't there any quality control with these boots? Or, at least, consistent sizing? For such a price, I'm amazed at the lack of attention to detail.

I love these shoes, I really shouldn't have waited so long to order them. They're comfy, durable, and so freakin cute. I get compliments every time I wear them. I was worried the 11's would look a little too man-ish and combat like but they're pretty much perfect.

Can you really go wrong with any footwear by Steve Madden? I think not! These boots are bitchin'... comfy as can be (I found sizing to be right on, per the reviews) and look good with whatever you throw on for the day... thanks again Steve (and Zappos)!

I got these boots and loved the look, thought they appeared to look small and were they ever. I wear a 7.5 and my toes were all the way to the end. will try again in a 8.5. Would like the stone leather but can't seem to find them now.

Love these boots! I get compliments on them all the time. I normally wear an 8 but after reading a few reviews, I bought the 7 1/2, at first they felt too tight, but now that they are broken in, I'm glad I bought a half size smaller, the fit perfect, they do loosen up a lot.

I spent months pining for this shoe until I finally broke down and bought it despite the price. Best idea ever! It is worth the price as it has a completely smooth, soft leather upper that smells amazing. The sole is sturdy yet giving and flexible. I've walked all day in them, and my feet felt fine. And to top it all off, they look amazing with everything - jeans, skirts, leggings. Love them.

These shoes were about a full size larger than labeled. These are definitely not for someone with skinny ankles or calves. I had to remove about 7" of the leather strap in order for them to fit correctly. Not happy with that, but love the look so I couldn't bear to send them back.

These are the best boots. A friend of mine said, you look like you could conquer the world and that's exactly how I felt, too. Fit was exactly right, leather soft, sole a bit stiff but not too. Love them!

I love this boot! Fits well, super fun casual boot great with skinny jeans, tights or shorts. Straps are a little long but easy to poke a few new ones in to tighten up.

Love the style. Purchased them in black. I am a size 11 in most shoes, but decided to order these in a 10. Fits a bit snug, but I am going to order my next pair a size bigger.

Man, I regret listening to so many reviews, I initially ordered the 9 black because 10 was sold out and the next day on the site 10 was their so luckily I was able to order the 10 instead they just switched the order, I got my boots, which I love and the 10 is too big, I should've of stayed with the 9, but now that's sold out. So I guess I will just have to get sole inserts for them so they feet better. Overall I love these boots! Especially you if you have wide calves ladies, you need these boots. I ordered black, and will buy the browns as soon as they go on sale.

After reading other reviews I was not sure if these ran true to size or not, but now that I have received mine I can say that they do (and I love them). I usually wear a 7½ in tennis shoes and a 7 in dress shoes. I ordered a 7 in these boots and they are a perfect fit. I thought the comments about the smell were a bit weird, but now that I have them I must say they do smell fabulous.

I got these boots right at the end of the season and I loved them when I first got them! You would think that since the buckles are loose and the tough is flappy that they would just fall apart, but they didn't one bit! I purchased the lightest color which I thought was like a white but it was more of a gray, and I don't wear a lot of gray so it was sometimes hard for me to find an outfit to wear them with but I overall like them a lot!

I had been looking at these boots for quite some time, knowing I didn't need another pair of boots. I was out at the mall one day and saw them at a store. They were so cute, leather was amazing and very comfortable. I came home and ordered them from Zappos. I ordered them in the stone color to reason out the purchase of another pair of boots. I got them the next day (Zappos is the best!) I loved the boots, heavy leather, great color. I wear them all day and have also gotten them in the black. Beautiful boot.
