Beautiful boots! Super soft leather, very comfortable, and the burnt red is gorgeous - a little darker/subtler than it looks in the photos. I usually wear an 11 in shoes because of my wide feet, but the 10 fit perfectly. (So maybe half-size up if you have narrow feet?) I would definitely keep these as my go-to boots if I didn't have to choose between these and the Engineer.

Great casual boot and fall staple. I finally found a pair of Frye boots I could slip by foot into, and they are super-comfortable and stylish. I wore them for walking around a hilly city all day right out of the box, and I had no discomfort. I am already eyeing my next pair.

I love these boots. They look fabulous with leggings and with jeans. I live in the midwest so as soon as it warms up I will try them with skirts. I love that it is almost a distressed black leather.

I love the rich, brown color of these. I have them in two other colors but I can no longer read the size on those two pairs. I ordered my normal shoe size 6.5 from Zappos, but the boots were too small :/ I’m returning and I tried to re-buy them in a bigger size, but the price has increased, which was disappointing to see.

Comfy and easy to get on. But just didn't like the style as much as I'd hoped I would. A bit too boxy on top for me. I didn't like the color either - Stone Washed Oiled Vintage looked brown in the picture, but when I got it, it was more like brown with lots of lighter brown streaks. I prefer my color gradations to be more subtle, I guess.

I purchased the Veronica short in the stone color, and let me tell you that it is a gorgeous color. It's a nice, rich, dark brown that would go well with pretty much anything. The boot itself is extremely comfortable too, though it's difficult to slip on without adjusting the lower buckle first. Ultimately, I ended up returning the boot because it hit at an awkward spot on my calves. Will be ordering the bootie version instead.

the toe box felt super tight. :( The length was already a bit long - so going up to a 10 would have been way too much.

I am a solid 7 with a narrow foot and high arches. Size 7 was nowhere close to fitting, way too short, so I ordered an 8 which fits like a 7. There is not much support inside the boot, so I will wear them with my orthotics, which I do in almost every boot. The remaining issue is huge heel slippage which I may just live with if I keep them. They're really really cute, and it's hard to find nice looking white boots! They are a soft white, not stark, but definitely not ivory. They will span the seasons nicely. I like the stainless/brushed nickel toned buckle, and the stacked heel color is cute too. I wish the insides of these boots felt more like danskos! The outsides are awesome!

The leather quality is superb, as all Fryes. I ordered the cognac and didn’t love the color, it was a medium brown without much variation. I kept them for a day to walk around the house and decide between them and the Veronica Shorties. They are about an inch or so taller than the Shorties. They were very comfortable. I ordered my regular size 8.5 and they fit perfect. In som of the more pointed toe Fryes I wear a 9, so stick with your regular size in the Veronicas. I ultimately went with the Shorties and sent these back because I preferred the darker brown and shorter ones.
