It is a great quality neck warmer. It is snug for me (male with 16" to 16.5" neck size in shirts) but would work for you even if you are slighter larger than me if you are okay with my description. I wear it on my motorcycle for colder weather rides. It's thick and warm relative to other thin merino wool neck gaiters I have for other purposes. This gaiter is very good in this application. It's stays in place and is comfortable. Others are thin and loose and don't cut the wind. This warmer is ideal for colder weather or activities. I also bought one for my wife. It's a little loose but very comfortable for her. She uses it in place of a scarf for walks. She loves it.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this product. Sometimes messing with a scarf to keep my neck warm bugs me! This is the perfect alternative, I love it! It's soft and warm, and I don't have to play with it to keep my neck warm!

I bought this for that super cold weekend we just had. I wore it outside in *feels like* negative 50 degrees temperature up in Canada and it was PERFECT!!! I'm so glad I bought this! We were outside in the cold for 6 hours and my face / neck was perfectly toasty.

Fits as described and very warming

Use these all winter long skiing, great on cold days but can get a little warm if the temperatures rise. This is my second pair as my first ones are starting to stretch out after 5 years.

Simple warmth that doesn't weigh down your neck and is not bulky. Would absolutely recommend.

My Smartwool merino neck gator is great everyday I am out skiing and working on the mountain. This neck gator is thin, so it easily goes under my helmet, but very warm so my neck and face are comfortable all day long. I love that it is soft and stays warm even if it gets damp.

So warm and cozy! Definitely on the smaller size, which means it stays up around your ears well! Not for those with giant heads, though.

OMG I never take it off! Tired of scarfs that get in my way. Super warm and maintains its shape. Now I'm gonna buy another so I can clean one and still have one to wear!

I live on a horse property in a very windy area. I use it when doing outdoor chores. Also great when used for outdoor riding snowshoeing and walking the dogs.

Living in Fairbanks AK, having Good Wool clothing is critical at times. The Neck Gaiter does a great job of sealing out drafts around the collar/neck and can be pulled up around chin and ears unreal cold weather.

I use Thermal Merino Neck Gaiters on days when I know I will be going outside for errands or appointments. I like to feel that my neck is well covered in cold weather. This particular gaiter in black cherry appeared to be much smaller than other gaiters that I have purchased. I chose not to return it because it was not uncomfortable when I wore it. I did find, however, that it does have a tendency to slide down around the bottom of my neck.

Love this gaiter. I've tried others and they don't feel efficient and well balanced regarding body temp. This keeps the warm in and doesn't encourage moisture build up (ie sweat!). Smartwool products are pretty durable, so I imagine it'll be a while until I'd need to repurchase.

Super warm and comfortable. My head even stays dry if I'm sweating.
