Although I am a fan of premium denim, I don't typically like to pay full price for it. I broke my rule and did pay full price for these, and am so happy with them. It is hard to find the Hudson mid-rise boot cut in stores these days (they are typically low rise or skinny), and I knew I wanted these mid rise. I am 5'5, 120 lbs, and the 28 fits me perfectly. Love the Elm wash--feels like real jeans, not too stretchy or thin. Fit is similar to Paige Hidden Hills fit. Love them, my favorite new pair of jeans. Super sexy back pockets!

I have been lusting after these jeans for a long time, and finally decided to purchase them. I am not disappointed! First I'd like to say that as far as sizing goes, these fit pretty true to size. I'm 5'6'' 134 lbs and usually wear size 28 in designer denim, such as the case with Seven For All Mankind and Paige Premium Denim. I read some of the other reviews saying to go down a size due to stretching, but I'm glad I didn't. The size 28's fit perfect (as usual) and I'm pretty confident that 27's would have been too tight. These do have some stretch to them, but no more than any other jeans with 2% elastane/elastic. No super power elastic here! The color on these jeans is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. They are a dark dressy denim, but have really nice broken in fading in the thigh and knee. The trouser style pocket is super cute. Being 5, when I wear a pair of mid-height heels these jeans fit perfect. No hemming needed! The front rise is 9 on these jeans and they are advertised as being mid-rise. I'm glad I went with these instead of the regular rise. Actually these could have been a little higher rise for my liking. Ladies with even a slight muffin top can appreciate a little extra rise coverage! These are by no means high rise or mom rise! If you're stuck on whether or not to buy these jeans, take my advice and do it!

These jeans are fantastic. They are one of the only pairs of designer jeans I've tried where I can actually wear my true size and wear them comfortably. Other reviewers are correct that they do stretch out a bit, but they don't stretch out a lot on me -- I can wear them several times and they're still fine with my true size. They are also ridiculously flattering on the behind -- even if you have a curvy shape. I do, and decided to try them even though the "experts" say curvy behinds don't need back pockets. Well somehow these jeans work and look amazing. My new favorite jeans.

I love these jeans! I'm a mom and I spend a lot of time bending over and sitting on the floor, do the mid rise is perfect for me. Low rise jeans show my butt too much!

Love these jeans! Got them today and my husband offered to buy me 3 more pair! He loved them. They fit great. I am 5'5 and they make my legs look a mile long. I have a small waist and larger in legs and hips and they fit great, which is rare!

I love these jeans! The only complaint I have is that they stretch out a lot. I can only wear them once because they stretch so bad. Or...maybe I have lost a few inches. They are a classy jean that can be dressed up or down. I am 5'7" and usually wear a 4. I ordered a 28 because my other designer jeans are a 28. Definitely will order a size down next time.

Love these jeans! I have a variety of jeans ranging from The Gap, 7 For All Mankind, Big Star, Paige, and Miss Me...but the challenge is finding the right size. I am 5 5 1/2 and 130-133 lbs on average. I range from 8-10 or 28-30. Just when I think I have the perfect pair they stretch and then they are too big or don't stretch enough so they feel to snug. Finally a pair that stretches just enough to be the perfect fit. I ordered a 29 and after wearing for 6 hours they were still perfect! I am very excited about my new found jeans and would recommend them to anyone. Perfect for some of us who have little baby bellies after children. Good luck!

Perfect fit! As a mother of a 22 month old, I found this midrise inseam to be more comfortable. It does one size larger than my regular citizens. At 5'8", the 34" inseam gave me some room to play with in terms of a low wedge or low heels.

Pricey but worth every penny! These are the best fitting jeans I have ever bought. I did have to exchange these for a smaller size, they felt a little big. I wish they were available in a shorter inseam but I will have them shortened. I definitely look about 10 lbs lighter and my behind looks smaller & shapely! Best investment ever! Thank you Zappos! I am love! Denim is very soft. Love the dark color. Will wash in cold water to keep it dark blue.

I was nervous about buying jeans online. After reading reviews, I selected the mid-rise because I have had kids and low rise does not work for me. But do not be fooled by the name, these mid-rise are still very low-rise. They are at least 2½" below the belly button. So they are stylish and functional, and look awesome. I am a size 4 but selected a 28 based on the size chart, and they fit perfectly. I had to hem them to take an inch off the bottom, making it a 33" inseam. They are gorgeous and very flattering. I have not found that they stretch out much, they are fitted every time I wear them. I am planning on buying another pair soon!

I absolutely love these jeans. Perfect fit for me and I love the back pocket. Have wanted a pair of Hudson jeans for years and finally bought them. Worth every penny!

These jeans are beautiful, and I would love to give them 5 stars, however the quality of these jeans is terrible! I originally ordered them and 2 weeks later they got a tear in the leg. Zappos was incredible and immediately replaced them. Three months later, and again these jeans are getting another small worn hole in them! I own over 30 pairs of jeans (including 2 other Hudsons) and I have never had this problem. These were by far my favorite jeans looks wise and fit wise, but I am sorry for close to this price they should last longer than 3 months!

These jeans are great. Very flattering boot cut, mid-rise just high enough to stay where they should when you sit down. They do stretch quite a bit, order a size down. I am 5'6” and had to hem mine to wear with high heels, but I don't consider that a problem. The fabric is super soft but does not have that cheap, thin look some soft denim does.

Love these jeans! They are a good fit for people that have skinnier legs. I've washed them a couple times and hang them to dry and have noticed that if anything, they stretch out a bit. The low rise are super low and mid rise are more like a typical low rise.

I bought these jeans when I seen them on a friend. They are so amazing! I normally wear a Size 5 and got the Size 28. I probably could have went a size smaller! Otherwise, they are great!

Personally, I love mid rise jeans and I have a short torso. Don't like showing my bum. These are my favorite jeans.

Love my Hudsons! They are, by far, the most comfortable pair of jeans to wear. They are soft, yet they don't look like they are stretched out. I have received many compliments on this pair. Very happy with them and, of course, always happy with Zappos!

Very cute and comfy. A magnet for compliments. I wish they were a little longer. Super model length is too long and these are a little too short. Only good with flats. Love Zappos!

These jeans are great. They have a very sleek fit to them and it is nice to have the higher rise. I don't feel that they are worth full price however. They are very thin denim. I was able to get them at a discount which I thought made them worth it for me. I had first purchased a pair that had a damage and they were very long, 34 inch inseam. I returned. Zappos was great! I decided to try them again and the next pair I received were a little shorter, about 33 inch inseam. I lucked out because now I will not need to hem them.

These are some wonderful jeans! I am very petite at 155lbs of sporty toned muscle and bought these in a size 30. It's like putting on a glove. I am definitely going to purchase another pair and going to get those in a size 29 because the denim does fit to you and has a little stretch in wearing. They look great on my long legs and toned bottom. Curvy ladies, these are a must buy! The back pockets enhance the lift of the booty not make it look abnormal.

You cannot go wrong with a pair of Hudson's! These jeans are true to size- slight stretch but stick with your size (I'm a 26). I have longer hips also so the mid-rise sits perfectly on my waist. Overall, a great product!

Best. Jeans. Ever. Seriously - these jeans are amazing! Beautiful color, without all that tacky whiskering and butt bling that will probably go out of style soon. If you're looking for a great pair of darker denim, this is it. I'm in my mid-thirties and I just need a great looking pair of jeans that fit well and make me feel good. These fit the bill!! The inseam seems more like 35" to me... I''m 5'7" and I'll be able to wear them with my 3" heels. Women shorter than me may need to get these hemmed. Love the mid-rise... thank you Hudson for making cool jeans with a higher rise and a bootcut, flared leg! I can't stand the low-rise, skinny jeans that are flooding the market right now... just not a good look for women with curves. The back pockets hit just right... not too low, not too high. This is a mid-weight denim that will work for all seasons - the denim is super soft and a bit stretchy. These fit like a glove! I'm basically a size 10, but usually have to go with size 32 in premium denim... size 31 fit me great and I love the wider waistband with two buttons - very comfortable and forgiving. Other reviewers complained about these jeans stretching out... I haven't worn them long enough to comment on that. The only downside for these is the cost. I've been holding off buying these jeans for almost a year, and they never go on sale. I would say just go ahead and get these - they are worth the price... they will make you feel like a million bucks! And if you don't like them, just send them back. These jeans are fabulous and a great jean to dress up or go casual, great for all seasons. They'll ride a bit higher on your waist, so you can avoid that dreaded muffin top and I love the bootcut/slight flare, which is very flattering for my body type. So what are you waiting for? Get these jeans!
