I was excited to see that Hudson offered a midrise, as their originals are very low. These jeans are amazing. I get so many compliments on the style and dark wash. I have 4 pairs of Hudsons and find that they do stretch - I usually order 1 size down!

Fabulous cut, super flattering in back. I wish the length were a bit shorter so far no problem because I've been tucking them into snow boots, but before spring I will need to have them hemmed. They do tend to stretch quite a bit in the waist while wearing, so in the future I'll be ordering a size down.

Love, love, love these jeans! As covered in other reviews, order a size down from your normal premium denim size - these stretch. I'm 5'5, so not super tall, but these really make my legs look long! Had to get them hemmed, but totally worth it!

These jeans are great and compliment my flat-bottom figure -- and I love that they're made in the USA! I tried the Hudson regular signature jean, which is cut a bit lower, but found them too hard to keep up even with a belt (probably because of aforementioned flat bottom). These are cut just slightly higher (but not too high) and work much better for me. I did find that I needed a size larger in the mid-rise (than in the signature rise), but may need to have the waist taken in just a bit on them. Zappos was great about handling the size exchange and a second exchange when I received a pair with a small snag in the denim.

This is my third pair of Hudson jeans. My first pair was wonderful: Great fit, style and quality. So I ordered two more pairs. Sadly, Hudson has dropped the ball on quality. After one washing, the denim began to fuzz at the knees on both new pairs. Fuzzing leads to pilling... pilling leads to fraying... and fraying leads to tearing. It has been just a few months, a handful of wearings and washings, and the material has deteriorated such that the fabric will not hold the back rivet buttons! The buttons fell out! Holes formed around the rivet button posts and with just the slightest tug came off. I have never had a pair of jeans fall apart this quickly. Such expensive jeans and Hudson could not spring for a longer staple cotton denim? This is the very cheapest quality denim fabric. I am very disappointed.

Just wanted to update. I purchased these two years ago. I am on here to buy another pair. The ones that I originally bought have three to four small tears on the seat bottom. I have never had a problem with other jeans doing this before. This time around, I am going to wash these inside out in cold water & hang to dry. Another thing is that the dark blue rubs off on my tan leather car seats, just FYI. I think from scooting in & out of the car has thinned the rear end of the jeans & made them susceptible to tears. I love these so much that I have no other choice than to replace the one that I have. I always get so many compliments on them & women have told me I look taller/skinnier.

These my second pair of Hudson jeans. I love the look and fit. I ordered a size 25 waist. I'm 5ft 4in, and weight 106 lbs and they fit perfect. The length was a bit long (34") so I had to get them hemmed. Otherwise, fit and look is really nice.

These are my favorite style jeans. They sit on my hips and fit perfectly. Perfect for long legs.

Love these jeans! And love Zappos customer service even more. The first pair of jeans I got developed a small hole within about two weeks for some reason, so I sent them back and got a replacement pair. Absolutely no hassle, the new pair arrived quickly, excellent service. The jeans are great, I do agree with some of the other reviewers that they stretch quite a bit and it might be wise to buy a size smaller than your usual. Overall, great jeans and I'm sure I'll be buying another pair from Zappos!

Awesome jeans! The color is absolutely gorgeous. A nice deep blue - unfortunately for me though, I have to return these jeans. They just couldn't go up my thighs. I'm athletic and I always have trouble getting jeans past my mid thighs and yet those that eventually make it up, fit my waist perfect - weird! I'm really bummed out that I have to return these. I may have to order again, but maybe go up a size? Not sure if that will fix my thighs issues. However, if you are on the fence about these, I say get them. They are gorgeous and worth every penny.

These are great jeans- beware they fit great out of the box but stretch out a lot as you wear them. They should fit SNUG when you first try them on to allow for "relaxation" as you wear.

Love these jeans. The denim is so soft. I have very muscular thighs so on some days they are tight in the legs but overall I highly recommend.

These jeans do amazing things for your back-end - I have never gotten as many compliments on my figure as I have since I bought these jeans. They are also super comfy. They run true to size as well - I wear a 28 waist and have ordered 3 pairs all true-to-fit. Get these and enjoy :)

These are definitely the best jeans I've ever owned. Their cut and coloring are super flattering, and they look good with everything -- you can really dress them up or down. I have found that they definitely loosen up a bit with washing and wearing. I'm 5'6 and about 115 pounds, so I ordered a size 25. They fit great -- the mid-rise, though still fairly low, is so much better than other low-rise jeans I've bought, but I did have to have them hemmed. If you're on the fence about these, I'd say go for it -- it's nice to have something that you can wear every day that makes you look and feel great.

I love these jeans! I ordered a pair each of Hudsons', 7's, and Joe Jeans, with the intention of only keeping one. I had gained weight and was looking for one pair of jeans that fit and were flattering to wear, while I am dieting. The Hudsons' were so soft that had I been a smaller size, would probably liked them a lot better. I ordered a 30 and for someone who is curvy, found these to be too tight in the thighs, as well as, with the lower placement of the pockets found that they made me look even larger! Unfortunately, these have to go back! They are pricey, but good quality, and to me, when you find the right jeans, the price is worth it! I will try these when I am smaller!

I agree - quality wasn't great for the price. A little too lightweight. These are quite low so too much butt crack for me as a mom bending over! They were fit and flare style, so just a tad too young for me (I'm a hip 33). Paige denim fits much better! I just tried these for fun but sending them back and getting more Paige (Hidden Hills!).

The fabric is a cotton bed sheet type, very light. I wanted to like these buy USA made but sent them back along with the straight version & lower version. If you are looking for a dress lightweight denim jean, then try these. They weren't for me, disappointing!

The jeans in the photo are not what I received. Also they fit strange, the wash looked wrong and they fabric looked cheap. I suspect when people are making returns that they're retagging wrong merchandise or these are fake. I own over 12 pairs of Hudson's and these did not fit right and looked very cheap.

This was the worst purchase I have ever made. I own two other pairs of Hudson jeans and love them. But these were terrible. They fit poorly and the first time I bent down they tore straight across the knee.
