Best for durability and volume.

this is my second purchase of this backpack. this time i bought 3. i replaced my first one that i gave my son, and gave the other 2 as gifts. it's a great bag. it holds a lot, it's sturdy. when you fill it and it is heavy, you can tie the straps so the weight is evenly distributed and it doesn't feel like a burden on your back.

I use this as an honors student in high school and it carries everything I need for all of my classes. I have had around 30 pounds in this backpack and the top handle is still in perfect condition. The shoulder straps bear the same amount of weight daily when I swing it onto my back (I have to swing it because of how heavy it is and I am pretty strong so that says something). This is the most durable backpack I have ever had and it is perfect for anyone who plans on trying to carry a large load of something comfortably.

My daughter has been looking for a backpack for ages. She loves this one. Loves the colours, the style, all the compartments and rain cover! Very good quality. Would highly recommend.

Bought it for my son as he started middle school. A seam ripped after three years of use which we were able to get repaired for a very small amount of money. Now the back pack is in its 8th year and my son took it with him to college today! This review was long coming. He loves his back pack and even though we bought an identical one in red for him 4 years ago, it is still in its original package sitting in his room...He just has to carry his old blue one around! The back pack been used everyday for the last seven years and has traveled the world over many times. Love it! Thank you High Sierra.

This backpack was not only larger, but much more durable. The shoulder strap suspension system is great. Heavy loads are no problem. The shoulder straps feel very natural and don't slide around as much as the cheaper ones. In fact, this backpack lasted my last two years of school, and I still currently use it for outdoor adventures. I plan on buying another when this one finally bites the dust (if it ever does).

I travel for business every week. I carry a lot of things medication, computer, tablet, eyeglasses, contact equipment, folder, notebook pad, user manuals, bluetooth speaker and headphones, signature pad, wifi hotspot, MP3 player, pens, first aid and cords for all of electronics. With room to spare. Pack is comfortable and well laid out. Two lager compartment zippers snag a little not ideal for one hand operation but not hard to get used to. Would not deter me from buying again.

It's a very pretty bag and well put together. The color is more plum than the pink I thought it was, but no problem. The padding is great. Have not used it many times yet, but found it very convenient, and exactly what I wanted. A great bargain also. Will be proud to take this with me on all my adventures.

Love this...Its for college so easy to use and comfortable to wear

Backpacks are for school and skiing. So far my kids like them. Time will tell if they hold up. But our last Sierra packs were great.

Bought this backpack for my daughter. She loves the color and it has tons of zippers and pockets for easy access and organization.

Seems like it would be a pain to have to pull out and attach to the bag every time it rains. Otherwise, very pleased. Purchased for my 13 yr old daughter. I wish it had a water bottle spot on both sides. The straps seem close together and rub my neck.

My grandson carried a High Sierra backback for three years (elementary and middle school) and it held up very well. He needed a new one for this school year and I didn't even consider getting him anything less than a High Sierra. He loves it and so do we!

This is a terrific backpack! It even comes with a media pocket. This backpack is going to be a great help to my daughter in high school.
